After pulling the bread out of the oven and slicing it; rub some garlic on it and slice a tomato and rub it into the bread as well. The garlic and tomato will make the bread taste extra special!!!
I LOVE Aldi for their cheap and tasty cheese selection. I love adding the stuffed olives as well, and they have a mixed cracker box that I like just for its variety.
Glad I found you. My daughter is visiting their home in Florida for a week end. I’m mom. It’s their anniversary. I want a budget board as a gift to them.
A lovely and economical board. The only thing I would change is putting the nuts in a small brandy glass. That way people por the nuts they want into their hand instead of dragging their fingers through the whole dish of nuts. Just my own squeamishness talking. Plus it adds an element of height to a bit of the charcuterie. Great salami rose! Much easier than the way I do it!
Pretzels and apple are my favorite...and the chocolate, yum. This is a beautiful board. I have to be honest, I have never made a charcuterie board before 😔 but I will now. I love all of your choices. The only thing I would add is maybe a little bunch of red grapes.
@@ClaireRisper oh yes exactly, I only buy what's on sale for the week. Last week my Aldi had grapes for .95 cents a pound. This week they were $2.99. Lol
Whoa. This was awesome. Your board looks gorgeous and I love that you gave prices for everything and tried to keep the cost reasonable. I've seen other UA-camrs make charcuterie boards that were super bougie. They looked beautiful but they were super expensive to make and didn't seem approachable. I love that you took a popular concept and make it more accessible. I am totally going to copy this board for a party coming up in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the inspo!
Roasted garlic. Pickles. Black olives. Pretzel crisps double as crackers. Ritz offbrand crackers. Summer sausage sliced or little smokies. Garlic butter. Strawberries. Smoked oysters. Smoked salmon(self caught and smoked) switch it up. Use something new each time.
Oh, I LOVE this!! I am going to have the family Christmas this year and plan on making up a board instead of having a dozen plates and bowls of snacks sitting around. This was SO much fun to watch; very relaxing....but now I'm hungry!! LOL😆!
It’s awful that The cost of everything is going up so much lately. This video and videos like these will be very helpful to a lot of people. Myself and family included. I do the best I can with budgeting but it’s always great to learn more. I make cooking videos so I cook a lot and I appreciate learning ways to make cooking more budget friendly from you. I hope we can learn more from each other. Thank you so much for sharing your budget friendly tips.
Thanks! Hey, I already subscribed to your channel to help you grow, but a little tip. Spamming people with a copy and paste message can be very off putting. People are looking for real, genuine connections here and you will be more successful if you do that instead!
Such a beautiful board! I used to put out a small charcuterie board years ago but didn't know that's what it was called or that it was an actual thing 😜. I always added olives and little pickles. So good and so fun!
My mom taught me what she called a relish dish back in the 70s. She just called it appetizers. It was cheep, we worked together and used whatever we had on hand!
I am in love with making the differ boards and trays now. The first 2 I made was a month ago they were presented to my sister's for their birthday they enjoyed them. So now I'm doing some for mothers day gifts.
You’ve done a beautiful spread! I love all of your ideas. Pretzels are totally my favorite too! I love doing charcuterie boards! One way I keep items budget friendly but make things look fancy is little cookie cutters (that I also use to make my sons lunch) with fun shapes like flowers and hearts. It’s a great way to make cheap ingredients look more expensive. Thanks Claire! 😊
Thanks so much for the inspiration! I’ve made a few boards in the past and spent too much money. I will go to Aldi and see what I can find to try again and save 🤗 I just subscribed, I think your great!!
Thank you for these great tips! I live in Canada and we don't have Aldi so I will be going to Walmart. I love charcuterie boards but it is just my dad and I. So I hate spending more than $50 on a stuff for a board and then have to deal with the leftovers.
Great job !! LOVE the salami rose !! I never saw that, but I hope you don't mind if I use your idea of "the rose" , and take the credit 😆. Looks like I'm the one that's late to the game. But your board looks delicious !!! HAPPY NEW YEAR !
Olives ...but love your idea for the salami and definitely going to do that for my Christmas Eve charcuterie board and thank you I love Aldi's products also
Thanks for sharing! I absolutely loved that charcuterie board it turned out beautiful and inexpensive too. I have only made one and it was a while ago. I have never seen that salami rose trick, so I am really out of it :) Love apples with brie especially this time of year. Great ideas for my Thanksgiving board.

I would add olives and maybe a small ramekin with a preserve or hot dip
For the Brie

My mom always has olives and I have an aunt that always uses little pickles!!! I like how our little preferences make it to our boards. Truly unique!
My mom taught me what she called a relish dish back in the 70s. She just called it appetizers. It was cheep, we worked together and used whatever we had on hand!
So pretty! Pretzels absolutely belong on a board. I haven't actually made one but when I do they'll be on there. 😊
