When you unpack situations like this, you gradually uncover that people like Shannon who value money over relationships are just fearful of what they cannot control. They go after money because of what it can give them, material items and power..Going after relationships leaves a person vulnerable with uncertainty which scares someone who need to be in control. Once Shannon is honest about what and who makes him happy and trust that person with his heart, he'll take the leap but until then, he'll make every excuse to remain single..

It isn't a binary choice. I' would simply say the reverse of that is having and honoring values in your life, submitting to, and honoring the responsibilities and blessings you have been given. Plenty of monetarily successful husbands and fathers/ grandfathers out there, but the celebration of their legacies isn't in bust form, but living and breathing throughout the generations of their bloodlines.
Sadly many may not understand how to seek and maintain healthy relationships with women or their children, but committing to being successful in them is a great start. In my opinion, it seems that Shannon has resigned himself to being a winner on the field and a loser off. Whereas someone like a Deion and Ocho resolved to be successful leaders in all aspects of their lives, period. Mindset is everything. @@torysims5032

Just looking back at some of the older vids just makes me like this show even more. I actually like when you both talk about non-football topics. 75% football and 25% other topics is a nice switch up.

I love this honestly. As a man I feel like we are taught to prioritize things exactly the way that Shannon has. The work comes first. You need to be able to provide for yourself and your family and love will come with it. But when it really comes down to it we need love and encouragement from a good hearted, well-meaning and supportive partner just as bad as women do too. Even a strong-minded, made man like Shannon needs that. Ocho is a real homie for laying it on him this way. Understanding exactly the position he’s in and the stance he has taken and why, but still maintaining that a great man needs a great women beside him to be whole. Much love ❤

It’s total brainwashing if men are convinced that their jobs are more important than their families. Provide? Provide for who? Lmao. People need to open their eyes. Making your owners richer isn’t worth sacrificing what’s really important.

Shannon doesn't want a great supportive woman. He wants a sinner whonallows him sexual access. His words. His priority.

Hey Unck…you need to write a book about you’re grandma dude! It’s worth sharing the wisdom, wit, and love. Don’t leave this world not doing so. Our world needs stories like hers

It’s very endearing and noble of him Shannon to care that much for his granny. A good woman would’ve continued to foster that relationship and been a help mate in all ways always.
