Cannot agree more with what Nasser bhai wrote. There is no word to describe his playing. I feel joy, tears and profound peace anytime I hear him. He was a regular player in All India Radio, Calcutta. I pray those invaluable tapes have been preserved and released someday. I clearly remember his Bilaskhani Todi many moons ago. It was ethereal, pensive and yet optimistic positive about the new day beginning. I cried glorious tears all through it. We never truly appreciated him and the world did not give him his due recognition as he was not a politician. There is a lot of dirt in the music world. Rest in peace Ustadji. You are nonpareil.
