That rainbow picture is literally one in a million chance of occurrence. Me personally I'd be so thankful for that rainbow in that exact spot at the exact time.. you will never see anyone else with that in there videos ever. Just wish that was me.

you were lucky cuz the rains hit northern region , if not the heat would burn your skin & head. the best time to drive this loop must be in rainy season till january. vietnam northern region will blow your mind, i guarantee. cao bang/ ban gioc / mapileng pass these mentioned spots you should try yet again many curves but much cooler.
