Worst clone trooper deaths by legion and clone type! We see some of the most brutal clone deaths come from The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch. Sadly, clones had to survive some tough battles throughout their service in The Grand Army of The Republic and the Empire.

The way that Clone Pilot dies, is something that one should never end up.
It’s sad, he tried so hard to cling on even after his helmet flew off
I don’t think his helmet would fly off, with no air friction in space and all 🤔

@@Albino_Basilisk well in star wars there is air in space, or at least that is the theory, it explains the death star having an exhaust port while being in space, where there is nothing to intake to exhaust out
I feel like the worst 501st deaths were during the umbara campaign. Field of them disintegrated, a piece of wreckage crushed one to death, at least two got squashed like bugs by tanks, and work of all was the guy who got swallowed by the sarlacc looking thing.

The Clone that got sliced in half by those doors, and the Clones that got their heads cut off by Maul are the worst deaths of them all.

The one sliced in half was called ridge, he was first seen in the clone wars movie and... well maul killed him. Kinda cool that he almost made it through the entire show though.
head getting sliced is a good way to go considering how these clones tend to die off when not getting shot at

Kinda merciful of Ventress if you ask me... They may have been enemies but dying to a kiss of a woman isn't as bad as just get shredded like the 501st was on Umbara

Imagine being a Commando, an Elite Soldier, training the New Soldiers for the Empire, who are supposedly BETTER than a clone, to Be KILLED by said "Recruited Body" who can't tell apart their *COMMANDING OFFICER* from the *ENEMY*

0:42 was so disturbing to me as a kid, hearing a clone scream like that was so crazy, especially with how violent and suddenly it happens, straight up jump scare out of a horror movie

sad fact the one that died to maul at like 0:11 was a clone that made it all the way through the war from the first battle of geonosis was a few days away from making it all the way through the clone war... but maybe the empire was a worse fate

He was still sentenced to death aboard the Venetia class star destroyer. All clones except Captain Rex perished on the crash.

The Coruscant Guard don't die in combat very much, so it's kind of both worst and most honorable they had.
I would say that.. That one Shock trooper who was hit in the face by a vibroblade.
the coruscant gaurd was shot 3 times and was still living, i cant believe how painful that is

Seeing that one Clone getting his head cut clean off makes me miss the times where lightsabers were slashing weapons that could cut through practically anything. Back before Disney decided that it should only function the way it was fucking intended in moments that are "ImPoRtAnT To ThE pLoT"

@@alannatherson7721 No reason to be mad at fallen order. It had a bunch as decapitation animations, heck even the humanoid bounty hunters had decapitation, but slicing human body parts would need the rating to go up

A lot of these clone troopers died in so many unceremonious ways. Fives' death, however, was treated as one of the most heartbreaking moments in the entire Star Wars franchise.
In all likelihood that commando survived. He was probably injured, but I don't think he died.
Hunter survived that exact same drop, and his armor isn't nearly as bulky. Yes the commando was shot, but Katarn armor has shielding, which likely took those hits. So he's probably fine.

Hunter has the same armour as him. it doesn't have shielding any more since you can see the blaster marks on his body. I liked the Legends stuff more than the Filoni stuff, but the fans apparently liked him for some reason so now his work is canon
@@tk-6967 Hunter uses modified Katarn class armor. It's stripped down a bit for better mobility, and obviously doesn't have the backpack unit.
And either way, I doubt a few shots to the chest compromised his armor enough to matter here.
I feel like the stormtroopers killed the commando on purpose. Like the Empire was going to get rid of them anyway.

I don't think that guy actually died. Commando armour is incredibly resistent and he probably only fell a few meters before just rolling down the mountain. After all hunter survived a much larger fall so unless he broke his neck on impact he's likely still punishing his men for such a disasterous failure.

0:17 It's so terrifying that you can see the desperation and the struggling on the pilots face as he tries to hold on.
Looking back on the pilot scene, that suit didn't protect him at and he wasn't even strapped in to the seat. Also cockpit has a lot of air in it to suck him out into space. It's definitely one of the worst ways to go being pulled out into the vacuum of space having all the air leave your body and tear it up on the way out. But, at the same time the circumstances that lead up to that seem like a stretch.
Phase I clone armors were pressurized so they could survive at least a little bit in the vacuum. The pilot would die instantly if it wasn't since he would implode
He also lost his helmet.
Dee Bradley Baker does such a wonderful job pulling you into the characters. Like you know exactly all the pain and agony that these guys felt in their deaths. 😬

Poor ridge, was pinned in half by the door. Those two who had their heads cut off was more.. Merciful, as Ridge was likely still alive.

If you listen closely you can hear the guy cut in half scream. Or maybe it's someone screaming in horror. (Idk if it's hard for other ppl to hear but it was hard for me to hear.)
Edit: after listening to it multiple times I believe it to be the clone getting chopped in half. The scream seems to be cut off and wet. Like bloody sounding. It's hard to explain.

Nah the worst 501st deaths came from Umbara, either the clone getting stepped on by the mhc or the one getting his back broken by pong krell

"Rookies", was the first episode of The Clone Wars that I had watched back when I was little, and Cut-up's death where he was literally eaten alive was truly a harrowing experience.

Even to this day, every time I see Colt's (?) death by Assaj, I see him openin' his mouth in terror and my mind thinks "He's going to get impaled through his mouth". I can't be the only one, right? Like, it feels like they were goin' to go for that one but remembered "oh yeah, keep it PG for TV release"

Missed that one clone that Greivous stepped on in the hangar, same for the ones that got eaten by those things on Ryloth in S1. Plo's guys who got killed in the escape pods. The guys with Eeth Koth who got cut up by commando droids, the ones who got sliced up by Savage Oppress had it pretty rough too though. The guys who got stomped by the Zillo beast, the ones killed by Geonosians. TBH a lot of the clones got done in p bad huh

1:12 I always found it hard to take this death seriously cos the way he desperately shakes his head cracks me up every time. speaking of which, ARC isn't a legion, it's more of a rank, a unit. the ARC trooper you showed was Commander Colt, who is actually a part of the lesser known Rancor Battalion.
Krell took a clone trooper with two of his hands and literally broke his back, I dont know if it was from the 501st or 212 but it was awesome
I think the ones on umbara that got vaporised where you could literally hear the screams of agony was pretty bad. As well as the ones against the shark dude who planted the mines on them and blew em to bits

The worst 332nd death in my opinion is the one who got his arm cut off. He was slowly being pulled in his Allie’s desperately trying to pull him back, and he knew he what his death was going to be. Then he watches his arm get chopped off, and he probably lived way longer before dying than the decapitated heads
