This mod is epic! Really wish Unleashed originally would let us play as Super Sonic after you beat the game like in Generations and with it being OP here, it would’ve been fun to mess around in the stages. Btw, that thumbnail is gorgeous!

Man,to think Sonic Team was planning to add the ability to turn Super in normal levels since Adventure but couldn't manage to do it until Colors
It could've been awesome,but sadly that's how it is
That's the fuckest thing too: they had plans to add the ability to turn Super Sonic in Adventure 1, had plans for Super Sonic/Shadow in Adventure 2, and had the Rainbow gem planned for 06, and yet somehow _all_ of those instances failed to materialize and accidentally created this pseudo tradition in the post-Adventure era of Super Sonic being exclusive to the final boss only (which arbitrarily stayed true in the handheld games as well). I think the first time in the post-Adventure era you could freely use Super Sonic in any given stage was in _Sonic Riders_ of all games. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
Seeing Super Sonic fly around these stages is breath taking
I've wanted to see this for nearly twelve years, ever since Super Sonic in normal levels made its comeback in Sonic Colors. This is SO MUCH BETTER than I could have possibly ever expected or hoped for.

Playable Super Sonic in sonic unleashed would have made the game so much better for me as a whole. The speed, the flying, the quality. Super sonic is one thing we all needed in this game.
@Riotai don't forget super sonic doesn't drains rings but he can lose rings, so I think after we beat the game we would have normal and werehog forms with their levels right? I say Super Sonic would be the same, replaced with the werehog, I mean normal sonic will become playable in werehog sonic, if we want we can switch him to super sonic,
super sonic would be faster and stronger than normal sonic (unlimited boost) no ring drain, fly, Chaos control I mean there are 2 types of chaos control
1st one is stopping time for a limited time
2nd one would give you the able to get into the next checkpoint by teleporting but it can only be used once, and super sonic may get hurt, lose rings but the rings won't be dropped from him

This mod is so epic, I wish Unleashed had more playable characters like the Super Sonic, and I think if the game gets remastered, I hope Sega will add Super Sonic in Unleashed but this is a nice concept!!

I feel like (if even possible) this mod should have super sonic flying like the final boss (not the air boost flying I'm talking about actually flying and being able to control your movement like the final boss)
Truly amazing and I wish they bring this feature when they make sonic unleashed ultimate
I love how Unleashed's score system works in that you simply can't just skip a massive portion of the stage by yeeting to the goal ring as Super Sonic in record time and still expect an S Rank for it lol

Ooh! What if Sonic Unleashed had an Encore Mode?
Unleashed’s version of Super Sonic is what I like to refer to as “Super Sonic grade 2”. This is also what I believe we saw at the beginning of Sonic 3 when Knuckles knocked the emeralds out of Sonic. Grade 2 doesn’t provide the invulnerability that grade 1 does, but still provides the ability to fly. Attacks deal a bit more damage, and grade 2 is best combined with boost since simply running into the enemy won’t do anything. In this form, Sonic doesn’t provide a constant supply of rings to the chaos emeralds, which is what would normally give the invincibility the grade 1 form is known for. Grade 2 is perfect if Sonic is able to avoid damage, or has a lot of rings, and simply needs a boost of power, or flight. If Sonic doesn’t have rings, and takes damage, he loses the form, and drops all the emeralds instead.

Could never get myself to beat unleashed completely even with a mix werehog because I could not stand the QTE’s and could not stand the thought of eggmanland. If this were possible, maybe I would have done so.

If it was in World Adventure, I feel like Super Sonic shouldn’t be too fast cause regular Sonic is already fast as he is.

The reason they probably didn’t do it was because getting rings would be to easy, with the magnetic effect the boost has, you could get super in an instant.
sonic now goes so fast he no longer has Rings debt every second when in super form

Hmm yeah I think Super Sonic's flight should be limited to some extent, I wanted to have him in full flight but in execution seems too ridiculous and overboard.

I dont understand why Sega began removing super sonic as playable after the originals. He would have also been fun in both sonic adventure games. Being overpowered couldnt have been the reason either because it was overpowered in the originals lol and fun

@@casual9918 SA2 and Generations were way more fun. I enjoyed the werehog in Unleashed, but the Day stages were just mid. The Wii version was much more fun to me for day stages.

@@SoniaSpectrum I'm sorry buddy but you're objectively wrong on everything (the Wii level statement is a 50/50 though) Day stages aren't mid, if you want an example of mid then look at Forces' level layout. Yeah there's some fun ones like Egg Gate and Mortar Canyon but its still nothing to Unleashed. Unleashed is more reactionary but it feels a lot more open than Forces.
Pal, i can agree Generations is better in terms of level design but Adventure style gameplay legit plays differently than a Boost title, each have their own dedicated ways of forming the level.
And seriously? You think flying over a level makes Unleashed a good game? What are you, casul?

What the hell is the point of playing a game if you just fly over the level, that doesn't seem fun to me at all. Yeah it's a cool idea (and great job on making the mod it looks pretty good) but I would play one level and be bored of it. That's just my opinion.
Tbf, Super Sonic from Generations did the same thing. But his "flying over the level" part is limited to only triggering at the speedy sections. Idk if its possible, but this mod could've at least done that.
