  • Joe tests two different front triangles to see what one he prefers. The data kit comes out and along with Downamics Joe finds some interesting information in his quest to put together his dream bike. This was only possible because of the incredible R & D lab at Hope tech, the passion of the engineers and the companies ethos as a whole. So massive thanks to Hope for supporting this project.
    Results inside.

Fantastic video, super interesting to see these difference and amazing that Hope was able to get you a different layup to test! The beer can shim and telemetry setup really balance each other out. Not too geeky, not too hack.

Have we proved that flexy frame was flexy, which is sometimes a good thing and sometimes not?

Really cool video. Also ride a 916 in H1 (tested your one for size at last year's Tweedlove..shout out to Woody lol) so found this video really interesting. Used to play ice hockey so stick flex in different carbon stiffness can make a huge difference, always wondered how that flex tech would translate to a carbon bike. Brilliant you're going to continue testing this out. #sciencey

Nice work. Try experimenting with the rear as it's difficult to get enough stiffness into the rear IMO

Crackin video Joe. Good to see lots of riding, very interesting to see your back to back testing of the frames, and crackin tunes as always!

I feel like i've gained at least 50 more iq from watching all this science, so now hopefully pushing 3 figures on the old grey matter iq thing.

This "enhanced 1080p premium" bollocks is really ruining these videos
