One thing is certain - Never (never never) give a politician the benefit of the doubt, their trade is abusing people's trust and filling their own pockets, don't give them a second chance

  • @danielsmith2770

I predict her hubby will say it was his oversite and pay the tax but a blind man on a galloping horse can see what went on

  • @woolmer608

She’s on the fiddle like all the rest of them.

  • @andrewrose7800

The principle here is that an embittered socialist takes advantage of the right to buy, having previously supported a Labour leadership whose avowed intent was to pull that scheme, thus preventing anyone having the same opportunity.

So she and Starmer are saying capital gains tax is for the general public. And Not for the labour elite! Good bye Labour!

  • @julianshepherd2038

None of it explains why we haven't allowed councils to take out mortagages and buuld homes since the mid 1970s

Paying tax is for “little people” ! 😡🇬🇧

  • @ZoltarSoulFunk

As well as any capital gains discrepancy, I'm speculating that they've also tried to get a discount on their council tax. If they were both registered at their own properties, they'd both be entitled to the 25% single person discount on each of them. If they lived together, they'd have to pay the full amount on the one they both lived in.

She is the worst of the worst, and she might get into a position of power, just give that a bit of thought. 🤔 🇬🇧 Ps. Tax is only for the little people. 🤔

  • @garethevans1399

ooooooo this is going to get tasty. We all know why she did it, to pay less tax.

  • @Marie-qi2re

You're supposed to live in a council house for a certain length of time after buying it. If they owned the other house first then they had no rights to be in a council house let alone to buy it.

  • @georgethompson453

If an MP was found to have carried out tax evasion would that be a resignation matter, would the matter be placed in the hands of the committee who investigate standards in public life and potentially lead to a recall petition?

  • @coopz1969

She don't need to worry it'll be dealt with by an independent person who after will get a cushy job with the labour party 🤔

  • @davidroutledge1732

Nothing will happen, we all know that.

  • @joffey1212

Just like ALL politicians from ALL parties, snouts in the trough, and they dont have to adhere to our standards

  • @ghtqwrrt871

    Sounds like a tax scam

  • @philsteele7151

it's simple she is a two faced hypocrite, her brother lived at the property she should have paid CGT, and took a local authority property using the right to buy for personal profit.

  • @markwanklyn9038

Absolutely Obvious! George Orwell summed it up, 'we are all equal but some are more equal than others' so what does that tell you about this politician?

  • @jonathanlake6053

Another question is how many postal votes did they receive for the 2 properties?
