Do yourself a huge favor and get the Bambu gold textured PEI plate. If your printing PLA No more glue stick!!! Just leave the top glass off or lift it a little or slightly open the door. I love mine. Have a X1 carbon too. Keep on keeping on, God Bless!!
I had an ok start with my introduction to fdm printing, finding somewhere level and sturdy enough to home the printer was a challenge, getting prints to adhere to the bed has been a bit of a journey, I also had a bit of a phantom technical issue for a while that went on for a dozen or so prints , I found out that one of my guide wheels was completely off centre and must have been put on wrong from the factory as the gantry is pre-built before shipping, I fixed the issue now I'm happily printing away, already printed RC wheels, have a Chevy truck build on and off the plate . My printer is anycubic Kobra 2 neo. I'm completely new to printing also and was running my slicer off windows 8 but have a more up to date windows 10 notebook 😂 I'm still a bit behind. You guys have made a good start can't wait to see you do next ❤

That 3D printer is pretty awesome! I just did some research on that exact one. From what I read it seems like quite the unit. And after seeing what you’ve made so far I’m starting to believe it more. You made some cool things and I’m sure after you get more familiar with it you might start creating some of your own RC parts. Good luck! 👍

One of these days I'll have to get me one of those. I work on RC cars for guys and this would come so handy for replacement parts that are hard to get. Plus I could also make stuff for my RC construction equipment.

I'm really glad to see you've been bit by the 3d printing bug. 3d Printing has brought me much fun and enjoyment. My dad and I did some research on buying a new 3d printer after I had borrowed one from a family member for 6 months a few years ago, we just so happened to buy an X1C. I've used it to 3d print quite a few replacement parts for my rc cars and even 3d printed an entire custom 1/12 pancar. Currently on my workbench is 3d printing a new chassis and bead-locks to breathe life back into my dusty Losi micro crawler. Some time spent with a 3d printer and learning CAD is an invaluable skill and I'm glad to see it being promoted here.
