The FX scores for the top 6 teams where all within half a point. They then went on to absolutely destroy the field other every other event. A great recovery after a less than standard FX start. Watching this in 2020 and I just had to laugh at something they said after Jonathan Horton’s vault. “You get the feeling that life in the USA is a competition, don’t you?”. Well, considering most of these guys have either finished up, or are still IN their NCAA careers, I’d say so.

The BBC are notoriously bad at pronouncing foreign names. It would actually be less offensive and probably more accurate if they literally just pronounce the name phonetically as it's spelled out in English. Years later, and they're still coming out with ten different ways of pronouncing the notoriously difficult name of Alice D'Amato. 🤦🏻♂
