  • Zigeunerweisen by Sarasate is one of my favorite pieces of all time! I am so excited to start learning it, as I have vivid memories of listening to it since I was a child. My dad always loved this piece and has been wanting me to play it, so I'm glad I could fulfill those wishes as well. I hope you are all doing well and enjoyed video! I would love to know your thoughts in the comment section below. :)
    Need a practice buddy? Here is my Practice With Me playlist: just put it on shuffle play as you practice and we can do that together!

    I really love those type of "practice with me" videos. Seeing how others practice makes me question and re-think my own practice. This is very inspiring, thank you Sophie ! Btw I love your playing, you sound really good !

    Thank you Sophie! I would really like to learn this. I have the sheet music, at first glance it scared me, I mean especially the rapid long runs. You have encouraged me to try again. I have always loved this piece. Thanks again!

    I'm learning this too!!!
    For the first run, you can't use the harmonic because it's a Eb, impersonally use 1212...on the E string so I can use the 3rd finger for the top Eb

      And for the G arpeggios, I personally use(for the last run up to the top G) 02 01(3rd position)3 11(G, I don't know what position that is)3 14123

      I don't know if this would help cuz I've only been learning the violin for 2 years and can't explain thing with words😅

      For the artificial harmonic on the last page, try have the 4th finger flater using the pads rather than the tip

      The high A in 14:44 try not to "smash" your finger to hit the note, I personally have my pinky ready by finding the note from memorising the 1st finger position when playing the E. This helped me to improve on the high A's accuracy

      Thank you! I’m not quite comfortable disclosing the amount it cost online, but I can tell you it was made by Tetsuo Matsuda. Thank you for understanding!

    您好!请你把最后那一页左手拨弦的技巧讲一讲好吗?

    • @SophieCViolin
      @SophieCViolin  9 місяців тому

      你好!左手拨弦就是用左手的指头放好地方,让后用一点力吧弦拨起来。用英语:It is through Left Hand articulation that you place the fingers down, and pull the string in a downwards motion to create the plucking effect. Hope this helps! 对不起,我的中文不是很好😅希望你能找一个video比我讲的更清楚!
