These are one of the best cops of the year for me! The shoe checks all of the boxes in terms of shape, colors, and being close to the OG. They did this one right, no complaints over here
I got mine this morning at JD. In and out. No reservations and $20 off using status cash. I was impressed with the fit. They're a tad wider in the shoe, very comfortable, and most importantly, none of that pinky toe rubbing that killed. I gave up my University 9s and others due to that. Went TTS. I can still visualize myself back in '93 looking at these powder blues on the shelf in the mall, and then and looking up at the Starter jackets hanging. Crazy both the 8 and 9 dropped the same year. The good old days!
It would be interesting to see a video on which models of Jordans crack or crumble over time? Also how can you extend the life of your sneakers. Just imagine you’ve spent thousands on sneakers and they end up cracking so you can’t wear them any more. There are I suppose only so many sneakers you can wear over a period of time? If you could do an updated well researched and comprehensive video on this subject it would probably boost your channel’s profile? I know these 9’s are close to the OG but damn if they only had the 23 stitched on the back would have been really dope!
Just out of curiosity, how has the polyurethane midsole held up on your 2010s? Any cracking or crumbling? I’m asking because I might pick them up but was concerned. Appreciate your response. Thanks
I buy them here in germany, and i‘m also proud to have them in my collection. They look amazing on feet and i go true to size and i wear my kickz with sneaker shields. I wish everyone a lot of fun to wear those.
i wanted these since i saw it in i think was 93 / 94 and couldnt get them had to cop these og classic at its best i passed on the 4s for these thats how long i wanted them
I understand these won’t have the greatest resale value cuz of the fact that the 9 is a mid tier Jordan model at best. That didn’t stop me from immediately grabbing a pair. You can’t go wrong with how good these look. Easily a grail pair of 9s (along with Space Jams and Motorboat Jones)
Some people just love shoes. I have no interest in resale value. I love rocking many different hats, hoodies and Jordan's. Mixing and matching colors. And I love the way the 9s look.

That’s easy, outside of aj1s they all crack over time and best way to extend the longevity is wearing occasionally at least
Still wear my 2010s and I prefer the 23 on the back even though 2024 are OG style.
