My 14 3.7 sounds exactly like this. It is so loud my friend says he can hear me coming almost a mile away. I love it. K&N Cold air with BBK short headers with an H pipe. Stock cats and custom muffler. Sounds sexy.
My setup almost the same except for the BBK shorties. I have stock cats, custom h-pipe, and Magnaflow Race Axle-back. It sounds great but my car makes a weird sound around 1500-2000 RPM. It sounds like when you breathe out of your mouth to check how your breath smells. I am trying to figure out why it is doing this and didn't know if your setup had something similar.

I checked to see if the assembly was loose and it wasn't. Always around 3rd and 4th gear during pulls. But it's gotten rarer as my exhaust has been broken in.
@@Auldus I just recently got the h-pipe installed on my car and the noise is rather loud. For me, it only occurs in lower RPM in most gears. My best guess is that the noise is exhaust gasses getting trapped in the crossover or "h" of the pipe. When I had an offroad h-pipe on I didn't notice the sound probably because my car was super loud. There is nothing online about this and it is rather frustrating because the noise sounds very foreign but I like how the h-pipe sounds over an x-pipe on the 3.7. I will be posting a video to several forums soon hoping to find someone else with the same issue.

As someone who cares a lot about how my car sounds from 1k all the way to 7k this exhaust is a breath of fresh air how much was the labor at the muffler shop?
Don't buy it just for the sound. Every other aspect you kind of screwed. First it's been discontinued. Second the aftermarket for it is crap. Third to get 400 + horsepower out of it you're going to be spending a lot more money than an EcoBoost and doing a lot more work and last no version of the v6 comes with the LSD.

@@rodiperez7918 discontinued = less support in the aftermarket than it already has. It has very little aftermarket support compared to the 5.0 and EcoBoost. Also the cost of getting the v6 to make power is just too much to make you think you should have just bought a GT. The Ecoboost can make stock GT numbers with like 1500 in mods, muffler, downpipe, intercooler, tune. The Ecoboost will even make more torque than the stock GT of similar hp and it handles noticeably better. To get the v6 to 450 hp it requires $ and major work. That motor wasn't designed to be boosted and to do so requires motor work. Don't get me wrong that v6 is a badass car but in terms of cost effective ness it's just not worth the money ur gonna spend when you can just turn up the boost in an EcoBoost or get a gt in the first place.
So, Ive got a 2017 V6 Mustang and would like to get this set up on mine and am wondering what the cost would be. Ive currently got stock everything except for a CAI and would be coming from Arkansas.
Do you have to have all 4 resonators or can you just go with the 2 back ones I’m wanting to go catless but I hate the raspy tin sound I already have muffler deletes on my 2012 V6 and I’ve found the catless down pipes and headers I’m just wondering if you went with just two resonators would it change it a lot

Xpipe kills rasp and adds power. Xpipe scavenges the exhaust hpipe is strictly for sound.

Nothing like in that video. Flowmasters are chambered mufflers and have a tin can sound to them. You want that sound you need to follow the guide. Changing it will change the sound.

If you can find a shop that can delete your cats and put o2 sensor bungs then it wouldn't be any different. It's just a stainless steel cat delete with the o2 sensor bungs already in it

@@HackWindows honestly not sure about the aluminized part of it. I would say that part makes less of a difference than the resonators you're talking about. Different resonators can and will produce different sounds. I would say your issue on having a different sound it from the different resonators you're using

You have header then the mid pipe with cats or without them xpipe. You can see it clearly on my NA exhaust video.

Get rid of those! Chambered mufflers don’t belong on modern v6 or v8 ,they just add a tin sound. They belong on old push rod engines.

I have heard of some that adapted it to longtubes but I can confirm it will sound the same or even close. Longtubes tend to bring out the rasp more.

How’s it going man so I have a v6 with flowmaster outlaws with resonator delete and h pipe and I really don’t like the rasp at the top end do u think if I put the jones resonators it with help out with that
Any resonators will help with rasp just don’t know how it will sound with the set up you have.
Get rid of the flowmasters. Any of their chambered mufflers will be raspy.
