I was honestly expecting at least over 300 coming from the great AMR.
needs long tubes. and for whatever reason these S550s always make a little less than the S197s
@@automafiaracing It is probably due to more driveline loss through the irs. The 15 up are also rated less stock but I've heard they're essentially the same engine they lowered it so the EcoBoost would be advertised as the "middle of the road" mustang and v6 would be the base. The s550 coyote essentially dynos about the same as s197 coyotes despite having more power from the factory and this is also due to the IRS sucking more power at the rear wheels imo.

The VQ37vhr can definitely make 380-400whp but u need almost every bolt on mod plus Cams And M5 ive heard some guys making 350+ with full exhaust, Headers, 3in intakes and E85 tune gotta be 2014+ tho

S550 V6’s supposedly come stock with 300hp. Catless 6-speed manual with ported upper & lower intakes, Corsa CAI, custom exhaust, BBK shorty headers & a tune- making 290hp? Can’t wrap my head around that. No hate, thing still sounds mental💯
Crank vs wheel hp. Most of these cars make 225 to 250 rwhp stock.
Lol I was about to hop onto this comment. Yeah the numbers you get from the manufacturer is the horsepower and torque at the crank.
What matters is the horsepower and torque put to the wheels. Parasitic transfer through the drive train to the wheels make you lose power from the crank to wheels.
In for the exhaust combo??. Certainly does sound good.

@@automafiaracing i may be parts collecting for a 3.7 swap into my 79 Pace car. I think a super lightweight fox body with the high reving 3.7 would be a blast. Also swap in the dash board while I'm at it. Then if more power is needed single turbo.
It sounds so similar to V10, what exhaust mods did you do to it?

Did I fuck up by buying a differential out of a gt350 with 3.73 gears with plans of putting it in my v6? Will this work? Or do I need the cooler kit, or different axles?
There are a few variables that matter but it should be good.
Auto Mafia Racing There isn’t much out there on the V6s and swapping in a differential but I think all I need is a new pinion yoke and I’ll be good? That’s something I’m sure the driveshaft shop would know.
If I was going to turbo my v6 would I need to change out my driveshaft? Can the stock one handle any boost?
For 11-14 we suggest it yes. We have them available. For 15-17 you dont really have to.

@@tylerchapman5555 in my opinion and the forums I read from shorties don't offer much power.
If you choose to go that route I recommend getting your manifolds ported by AMR to get to that 300+
Pretty much. You need ported intakes, long tube headers, off road x pipe, gears, TB, and good fuel to break 300 typically. Also the S550s just make a little less hp in my experience.

...305 at the crank... we measure at the wheels on our chassis dyno. There is parasitic drivetrain loss of 10-20% on every vehicle.
