I no longer have the original file. This video was downloaded from UA-cam prior to my original account getting deleted after a mishap with UA-cam/Google Apps. I had to convert the video for editing and uploading. This is why the quality is lower than my other Classic Siren Videos. Thank you @Siren1000T1 for providing me this video so I could re-upload.

2008.
Amazing that these videos are getting back to UA-cam. I remember when I saw the Hills, MN siren video in 2009 and several years after it, I tought I will never see it. Thanks for uploading these!
I'm so glad I was able to help. :)
R.I.P West Thunderbolt 1003
@TheSMGamer15Backup Yes I know.
@JennyWakemanAndNotChuckFan It's been replaced. So has East 1003. Both replaced by 2001-130's.
This sounds awesome! I love this video.
Amazing!
Neat! I’m so used to the slower alternation between the solenoids that this sounds so weird to me lol! I haven’t seen this one and some of the other videos you’ve posted so far since I was so young when they were on UA-cam, so it’s cool to be able to see them! I was 6 years old when you filmed this. Now I’m 20. Keep these throwbacks coming!
Wonderful
You know why I like this is because this West Thunderbolt 1003 is like making Music when it starts alternate wail and Dance around when it rotates fast 😎😎😎😎🎵🎵🎶🎶🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊

Wow, great video never saw this one. How many classic VS recordings did you film haha?
I probably filmed close to 70 classic siren videos between 2007 and 2009. I only have around 60 of them in raw format as I lost a few to a hard drive failure around 2010.
I do
I just noticed the VS part... I would say around 10 VS recordings including my latest of the East 1003.
@@derek130wx All good lol
Crazy! Do you think a newer FC controller would have made it work properly?
The issue at that time was the aftermarket flasher, the flasher wiring into the RCM, and the sticking chopper motor starter. The FC installed on this system was a first generation that wasn't programmable. The AF was bypassed.
oh my god I've never seen that video what the hell!!
Do you happen to have any footage of Sioux Fall's old bolts?
No. I wish I did, though. I was too young at the time. They removed the 1000T's first before moving onto the 2T22's in the very early 2000's. The last ones to go were the STH-10's. Most 2001-SRN locations were formally Thunderbolts. SRNB's replaced the rest. 130's are all new locations.
In total, Sioux Falls had around 40 sirens in the old system. Currently, they have around 80.
Keloland News has a few videos on UA-cam and on their website (the last time I looked) where you can see news clips with the old system. I thought about contacting them to see what photos and videos they may have in their archive.
@@derek130wx That’s a big shame, what did their old system consist of?
1.25 sounds like Silverstreet Thunderbolt 1003
Whats the meaning for this sound?
are they fs&s or just fs
This one is fs
