Good evening from Nanaimo Vancouver Island Canada I've been watching your videos for 4 years now. And seven of my friends also watch your videos that are all over 60 we watch two other channels as well. But we've cut a lot of channels also keep on bringing out the good info thank you very much for your hard work
been doing thee excersices for a while now. Today, for the first time, I increased the weight of the dumbbells. That felt pretty damn good! thank you & keep up the good work, Sir!
Thank you, Mark! I've been watching your adjustable dumbbell videos and this adds another great one for me to add different lifts to try with my new set of adjustable dumbbells. I'm not sure if you have any pyramids or reverse pyramids for any particular lifts, but I'll keep looking. Thanks again! 👍
Never heard of a renegade row. I do a bent over vertical DB row with roughly the same form - i.e. put the DB in your hip pocket. AthleanX says to use an overhand grip. I'd imagine you use less weight with the renegade row, so it makes use of your smaller DBs without having to buy bigger, more expensive weights. I personally prefer Bulgarian split squats to lunges. At home, I just park my rear foot on the sofa. If you lean over, it really works the glutes hard. They hurt for days! (in a good way). When I do hip lunges at the gym and skip the BSSs, they don't have nearly the same effect.
At 63 5'10 170 my only chest exercises are flat and incline dumbbell flies. Years ago benching with the bar started hurting my right shoulder. And many people give up benching for dumbbell flies for that reason.
I'm with you. I don't use the straight bar for chest at all anymore. But at 57, I don't do DB flies at all anymore. I do DB incline press as the primary movement, and I use cables while standing for flies. Much easier on my shoulders.
I love the bicep curl, with a twist. I do these after the curling bar. I've added fat grips to the dumbbells and offset the weight so there's 2 1/2 more pounds on the little finger side of the dumbbell. The offset weight will put more emphasis on your forearms.
At 70, great shape myself. But, I’m just looking to stay mobile more than building big muscle. Keep what I’ve got and don’t hurt anything that won’t heal.
idea for a future video...A DIY HOME CABLE EXERCISE GIZMO. Better than dumbbells, for some, right? Gotta be a way.... (heyyy...bought that same bench at a Wallyworld Clearance $25 :-)

I can't do a lot of lunge exercises because my knees won't tolerate it. I'm more than strong enough to do it, but my knees are big limiting factor.
Thank you sir.

What brand of dumbells are you using in the video? Great video, btw.👍
Core Fitness, I can see it on the dumbbells in the video. $369 on Amazon, I can change my my own weights for that price.
