Don't know if I could run one like that, ones I used to run had the cables for the blade and sticks that you had to be strong as a gorilla to work ! 😊 Shows ya how old I am ! Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍
Ken Gamble my first time pushing dirt was on the same kind. Pony motor to start it. Cables all rusty and loose. I ended up making the ground into a very nice moto cross track. Thankfully I was just pushing dirt to a loader that was filling trucks. They fixed it later.
GREAT video, Chris ! Great camera point of view. What really blows my mind is how you would Estimate and Quote such a project. I know it is a matter of how far a given machine can move a given number of yards of material in a given amount of time, but it still boggles my mind. It is a fascinating project. You should do before and after drone views of the large sized jobs. sdh in CT
Always good to see a dozer video. Fascinated by them for some reason. I understand that the outflow pipes were extended but missed out on why it is being done. Taking the dirt off the top of the backside to cover the extended outflow seems like robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Great video Chris I sure would love operate that Dozer. Always wanted to operate one but never had the chance. Operated many other large machines on the railway but that was my dream. Guess I will never get the chance now before I am passed to the big land beyond LOL.
Wayne Rogers I bought a TD7 dozer last year to use on our property and to do some small paid jobs. If you were near I would definitely let you run it. It's one thing to run a dozer and another to actually know how to grade with it. That's what I'm trying to learn now. I've watched all your Dozer vids Chris
D, too much speed is the biggest mistake people make when trying to finish grade with a dozer. Speed comes with seat time. Once you get a feel for your machine, you'll be knocking 10ths off pretty easily. I've seen guys running like they're trying to blow the tracks off. The whole time thinking they are getting something done. When in reality they are burning fuel, making noise and making a mess. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
Love your channel and the content that you provide. Keep up the great work!!! Love when you hop in all the machines cause you know how to drive them well. Jusr was asking to see when are you going to shoot another video on your new shop??? Didn't know if it's completely done inside and out??? Keep up the great work!!!👍👍👍👍
Looks like it's drying out down there. What's your weather been like? Up here, we get a little taste of spring, then winter pops up again. Hasn't affected crane work too much. At least I'm still able to get a few videos a week uploaded.
My plant op experience is limited to cranes and telehandler. When taking a cut what is your looking at? Would you manage to comment / explain in a video. Thanks
I like riding along too,..but the GoPro camera's lens angle doesn't give a true picture of the work you're doing, or, have done, does it Chris? Here's where i would like to see the view from your Drone's camera.
Good video Chris. Did you walk in the slope after of is the grading guy coming back to finish up loose ends when you got done? We have a cab version of that same machine. Like it for fine grading but bulk pushing I want the D6H. More butt to push a full blade.
When your pad bolts are giving more traction than your pads, I'd say it's time for some new pads lol. How you like it? I had a d6m for a wile and didn't fall in love with it by any means.
When I was a kid all of us kids wanted to push dirt with a bulldozer. Still do.

Nicely done! It’s always fun to ride along!

they are going to add dirt to the entire dam and the owner just really want these pipes covered and the grade blended.. Do what they want job! lol
Makes perfect sense now. Thanks!
It is amazing how you just know where to tilt and position the blade so it comes out level

Great Vid. Good to learn from an experienced operator so I cam apply ideas in my own work. Thanks for taking us with ya'....
Very nice again Chris Cat D6N Dozer cab cam operation so smooth, hearing not much engine sound ? 😲💥😲💥😲💥😲💥😲💥😲💥😲😉
Thank you Chris, its going to look nice after you finish it 🖒

Grading looks like it would take some time to master for a beginner looks nice Chris nice job you make it look easy
Great video Chris thanks for sharing
Hella smooth operation!
them there new fangled dozers sure take the fun out of it, not having to deal with 123 levers, pedals, knobs....
The D6 seems to be running good.
Hey first to the show great to see your vids Chris
Like the video on Cat D6n .
Make it look easy Chris nice job !

Same dig, different angle. Cool.
Got to like that 6 way blade.
I think it's time for some new tracks!
You kept looking up at the camera Chris was that showing off 😋
It seems you're cutting a lot of dirt out of the dam. Will it be replaced, or was there more than enough to begin with?
You know what you're doing without thinking, just like an expert playing a musical instrument!

first time on a high track and first push lol
letsdig18 --- Good job for first time! Ride those high tracks long enough and you'll want one.
Luv that view.....
You should ask if him if she’s for sale wouldn’t be a bad dozer for u guys
Where's your hearing protection young man? Your going to be an old deaf operator like me one day
Gabe Smith
WHAT WAS THAT YOU SAID THERE, COULDN'T HEAR YA !! 😆
Thanks for the video.

Ya. I remember my first day on a dozer. Hang in there
mr washboard ha ha
first time ever on this machine
That’s a really clean looking machine we have a D5N witch is a lot like the d6n,is it yours
Seth carpenter no, I think he said in one of the first videos of the dozer that it's one of his friends that let him borrow it.
nice ride, but what are you doing besides moving dirt? I'm lost but not a 1st for me.lmao
What is your purpose in doing this? Just to blend in the new clay in too straight en it?
What he is doing is pulling extra dirt off slope of pond to fill in over a pipe he extended for the overflow of the pond.
Andy Yokley ok though that but was asking
We have a 6n lgp. I hate those things a big ass dozer with no power.
What was the point of extending the pipe? Is there something (a road?) going through that space?
more dirt being added to the pond dam to make it wider
I can't tell but I hope you've got some kind of ear protection...
why
what?
wastegate he’s saying he hopes Chris has hearing protection on even tho it’s not that loud
Exactly... ear\hearing...
When are you going to be on Gold Rush?! =D
Buckin Right420 he too good an op for them they are amateurs
Lol
Yar! Almost as good as Burnoot!
You should see if the owner is going to sell it you could buy it off him
beleza pura
Not exactly sure what y’all doin here cutting out that dam a bit
trying to push some dirt down to cover the new drain pipe we installed
Understand now
Went back to the first video
