@@FormerGovernmentHumanyea I don't think so, Oda loves drawing gear 5 but imagine how much harder it'd be if he had to draw it EVERY CHAPTER, if it does happen it'll be at the eos.
@xaviernovaldo192Not every chapter has to be high octane action we have slow down from time to time and narratively set up for the next high octane action set piece. Just gotta be patient 👍
this is because he doesn't need to save energy against an opponent like the snake or lucci. he knows that gear 5 will end the fight before he passes out! maybe luffy really enjoys this form, which is why he uses it when it's not really necessary, after all, it gives him insane freedom. but against someone as ridiculously strong as kizaru, he can't fight however he wants, he has to be strategic.
There are still a few things that feel weird. Not just errors but how characters act. Sanji made Nami scream/cry. I feel like sanji is usually more careful with Nami, not just suddenly skywalking. Zoro woke up on the other side of town and found Luffy on his own, with just the sound of a fight to follow. Ussop admitting to losing his cool instead of coming up with a lie. Or justifying his failing as a plan to be at the cat. Chopper can't break steel. I can't believe that, unless oda has 100% committed to chopper only being a mascot. And only being useful when someone is hurt. Has Nami ever charged chopper? She has a soft spot for kids and lets them get away with murder. Luffy said he is full. I don't know maybe I'm just drinking the Kool aid and getting on the conspiracy train
The Luffy comment to Usopp actually means a lot more since it's coming from Luffy. He doesn't just blindly believe in his crewmates, he actually knows what they're capable of. The same way he could tell that both Inuarashi and Nekomamushi were strong just from meeting them. He knows Usopp could have actually beaten that cat
@@b0xman935 They are aware; however we never see the actual interaction in which they become aware; there's a lot of downtime between the crew that we don't see; usually this info is depicted through Vivre Cards, It's how we know that every time there's a new crewmember, Usopp brings them up to speed on everyone's backstory and their adventure so far.
This, all of the this. Luffy's battle IQ is very high, and he's also fought Usopp (albeit pre time skip) personally; he's very well aware of his capabilities, the problem is that Chopper, Nami, and Usopp are cowardly, despite being capable. Think about it this way, Usopp survived the Boing Archipelago, and came out SHREDDED; the creatures there were easily on scale with the one's we just encountered...he also defeated multiple fishmen, all of whome, on average without training, were 10X stronger than the average human. Usopp survived multiple encounters with Ancient Zoan Haki wielders; He survived an Ulti Headbutt.
I'm 80% sure the Sun god is a woman (the slim silhouette, the high heels) I'll even make a prediction, I think it's Freyja. Edit: was super wrong. Oh well… that’s One Piece for ya.
Actually was going to say this. Freyja's animals are all here. They are two afterlives in Norse Mythology and Freyja has the second, So this could have been a heaven on earth for the people in the cage. A blissful life without war.
I was first expecting the sun God to be a child but after seeing the silhouette I was convinced that it is probably a grown woman. Possibly this arcs princess
Since the name of the raven is a fusion of the names of odins original raven, I think the sun god might be a combination of freyr and freya, cos freyr is actually associated with the sun in norse mythology and his sister freya uses a staff.
Newer Windigo concept like. Original native stories didn't have antlers, that started after a movie in the 70s. Guessing Moose or Fallow Deer, Moose live in the north so that's the best guess. The tines and palms of their antlers give it away, called crowns on other cervidae members. Maybe also ties to Cernunnos a nature God some people refer to as the Green Man when seen.
The one thing I did notice was the names of the Sun God's pets. The crow is Muginn, a mashup of Odin's ravens in Norse myth (Huginn and Muninn). The snake on the other hand is Hyllungander, which is almost Jörmungandr the World Serpent, who is "said to be the middle child of the trickster god Loki and the giantess Angrboða". While there are cats in Norse myth (Freya had a pair that pulled her chariot), sadly I can't find anything about them turning into lions.
@@RoxxieRaeVA because lions were not a thing in norse mythology. And Freya's two cats are the only ones in all of norse mythos so that's a Oda original. I would claim that it's the same with the snake, it just sound vaguely Norse and has nothing to do with jörmungandr. You are right about mashing the names of Huginn and Muninn together though!
The snake is the serpent that holds up Midgard and also is the cat. The Giant with the mask is Skrymir and looks so huge becuase it's a trick and the head is really a mountain. It all fits so far with Thor meeting Utgarda-Loki.
@@shanoukgaming6763 Other than the existence of a cat, a castle and a giant there is nothing whatsoever that could connect the two stories and those three things are so common trying to squeeze the Útgarða-Loki tale into what is happening could only be considered a reach. 1. Thor and Loki went there willingly, the Straw Hats did not. 2. They were forced to perform a feat (and failed), the Straw Hats are just causing chaos for no good reason (successfully) 3. the cat in the story was there to be lifted (unsuccesfully), not beaten to a pulp and so on.Long Ring Long Land is closer as a Skrymiir reference than Elbaf so far since that arc actually had rigged competitions.
You know I was thinking in the back of my mind that it would be hilarious if all the errors really WERE just mistakes and everyone was going “AHA! LOOK, I FOUND ANOTHER MISTAKE! ODA YOU ABSOLUTE GENIUS!”
I still believe some of the inconsistencies to be too nonsensical to just be accidents, especially inconsistencies that happen on the same page. It isn't just art errors either, it's the misuse of the word Gear 4 even in the original Japanese text. Not to mention the fact that no one came out to point out those were all errors especially since they were so blatant
Wait... I'm not too sure why this chapter confirms there were just errors. I feel like this chapter title confirms there were not errors. The weapons changing is typical RPG ... no? I also saw a French UA-camr theorizing we are in a RPG last chapter so this will be a confirmation for him...
i mean presumably he got a decent amount of assistant and editor its weird that alot of mistake go through so many people maybe the whole team is tired even after taking consistent week break
The fake sun god is definitely a woman who just loves animals I can tell because of the normal sized handmade clothing, the strawhats comments about the sun god being delicate and them being dressed up like dolls, and she probably thinks chopper is cute and kept him out of the cage away from the dangerous animals, the two animals that weren’t in there didn’t attack him at all she probably collects animals and regular sized humans because she’s doesn’t have a family or some other anime backstory reason or it’s just a hobby
Honestly, I still think some kind of manipulation is in act right now. It's not like when a chapter ends, you just forget what you just saw and red. The inconsistencies and misteries we spotted are still part of the plot. And so are the new inconsistencies added to the chapter; like Nami asking compensation from Chopper for saving him, or Luffy still insisting about not being hungry, or Sanji saying he can spot Robin from anywhere but he wasn't there when Nami was in danger, or Luffy and Zoro running away from a giant that imprisoned them instead of Beating him and interrogate him. BUT more than anything else, what makes me STILL question the nature of this chapters Is the title: because, while the last chapter was standardly titled as any other arc Starting chapter, this chapter Is titled "RPG". As in "Role Play Game". A game where you impersonate characters and, by giving them some quirky traits, try to create an Adventure with them. And Why would you title such a chapter like that?? Where is supposed to be the RPG element in this chapters?
We still don't exactly know what was up with all the goofs and inconsistencies in the last chapter. Here Luffy consistently had an axe and Sanji was scared of bugs.
There is still weird things going on. Zoro talking about how he "heard a sound a followed it" or how he talks about geography in general in the chapter. Luffy who always 100% trust his crew, seem to doubt Usopp. Usopp who always gets a huge confidence boost after a enemy got defeaten, doesnt start talking about how he single handely defeated the foe.
One thing about Gear 5 is that it has been changing slightly every arc already. In Wano G5 kept his shirt on, in Egghead he was completely shirtless, and in Elbaf he has the Viking gear on
Those "changes" were there because Luffy threw his shirt on ground when fighting Lucci, he had it on against Kaido and he wears viking gear in base form in Elbaf, gear 5 always has same outfit as Luffy when he enters it, that is only change
It's insane that there were that many errors and they weren't hallucinations. Why even bring up the hallucinations then? It's like the items that could interact with light in Egghead that were introduced and then weren't used against Kizaru.
@@inigo137 to be fair, the notion that it was caused by hallucinations were stupid to begin with since that is not how any sort of mind altering drug works - you don't get regular drunk, pass out and start to hallucinate when walking up. They would have had to hallucinate whilst still conscious on the ship for that to even be a theory worth listening to. But people are morons.
@tobiaswedin it could still be loki or something interfering with people. I mean if shanks has observation killing, it could make sense if loki could do the same with illusions
High heels, or really fashion in general, doesn't seem like a great way to guess at gender in the OP world. Also, giants in high heels gets sillier the more I think about it. This could just be my memory poorly cobbling together bits and pieces from fiction but I'm pretty sure stag heads are generally less sinister than they appear. I feel like people wearing them are usually linked to like the cycle of life, so death is part of their motif but in a more benevolent, force of nature, other side of life sort of way. That said, keeping living diorama's where the inhabitants call them God is going to be hard to sell as not evil.
I need Usopp to hit his dream by the end of the arc or at least make strides towards it because you are so right, he is first in line to be tested on the crew when it comes to the Dream test, and we are here, war land. I hate that for Zoro in Wano and Franky in Egghead we sort of nodded and then left it alone but Usopp NEEDS something before we leave. Even if it's purely character growth where he finally grapples with his natural fears and fights even if it's in his own wacky way. I like when he's terrified and still fighting his heart out.
@@maddoxglow3268it would be so epic if luffy tells him that you already are a brave warrior of the sea. Idk if thats wack or not. He needs some power boost as well to close the gap between him and Van Augur .

Gear fifth embracing the costume/clothing of the area is perfect for the nika legend… as every place has their own interpretation of the god of liberation it makes him more relatable to every species
There's something weird about the pacing as well I think. Chopper just appears out of nowhere. We just see a bubble not connected to anything, and then in another panel he is free from whatever was holding him. I find it strange that we didn't get to see what his situation was. And since when can't he break steel? The cage on the other side of the glass is also cut (I guess by zorro?) but it's not mentioned or showed at all. I feel like meeting chopper and escaping into the room could have been shown better over stupid toilet jokes. I also noticed that all the people in the miniature village has sun god tattoos I noticed that the snake was called Hyllmungandr. The worm that encircles the world in norse mythology is jormungandr. Jormun apparently means huge. I couldn't find any meaning for hyllmun though, maybe it's a name of the place?
Hmmm but how come Zoro didn't get lost this chapter? He said he folllowed a loud sound to its source and found Luffy and Sanji. That isn't really Zoro like, if he was really Zoro would probably go the opposite way of the sound while trying to go towards it.
I think they were inside a mirror and not in a glass box. And in Through the Looking Glass, there were a lot of opposites. As such, Zoro tried to go the wrong way, but the mirror world proved that to be the right way. In short, Zoro was the best guide that ever existed in that world without animal help.
In Wano, on Onigashima, he did the same thing. When Luffy went off on his own first, then Zoro followed the noise and cut a tower to take a shortcut to his direction.
This chapter 1128 is peak One Piece. The OG crew interactions, the humor, the fight scenes, all give this chapter intense nostalgia vibes. Great introduction to Elbaf!
3:35 I hope Oda does this spin off at the end of the series. it would be fun to see all the mundane in between story from the beginning all the way to an after story that tells you what happened to the crew and where they went (if not included in the main story). Chopper opens a hospital, Sanji opens a restaurant that serves everything from the all blue, I could see Robin becoming a school history teacher so that history isn't forgotten, Nami travelling the rest of the world to complete her map of the entire world, etc.
The chapter is called RPG, so maybe the inconsistencies are due to some roleplay roleplay fruit or something. The "sun god" could just be something like a dungeon master controlling the place where they are right now. This could explain the transforming cat, weird bees and the fact the the normal sized people seems to be roleplaying
The chapter is called RPG I’m thinking this is some game board and someone can change the game like D&D. Maybe there is a Dungeon Master type devil fruit that can change what happens in the space, which may explain the errors.
Im like 95% sure those still aren't mistakes but rather the effects of the alcohol wearing off they've mentioned it to many times not to have a place in the story
Yeeees correct i felt the same... The last 2 chapters are weird to be honest. They felt as if someone else wrote them but it s ok. They have that og OP feeling of the first arcs.
I think the "sun god" is Sigyn. She is the goddess of victory, mercy, compassion, & devotion. She is regarded as a kind and patient figure that eases the pain of others, both physically and mentally. More importantly though she is the WIFE OF LOKI! She is said to be super loyal to Loki even when he was exiled/punished.
One thing I noticed is that Luffy actually has his straw-hat on his back. Between that and Zoro's swords, I'd say that whoever this giant is, they didn't mean any harm. Why else would they change them into new clothes but leave them with their most prized possessions?
going by the theory of imposter Luffy doesn't it makes sense that Luffy asked Ussop that he could've taken down the Lion cat because the imposter doesn't know about the nature of Ussop but what he does know is that Ussop's bounty is the fifth highest in the crew....
GUYS I just realised something. In the anime during the time point 12:55 episode 1109 they show a bar and at the top of the bar there is a decoration/head that looks similar to the "sun god"
People say "why do people theorize?" Because it feels great to be right. Like I was right when people were saying yggdrasil is the top of the Adam tree, and I said 'nope, it's a glorified bansai tree owned by some giant' and that it being destroyed wouldn't do anything other than anger the giant that owns it
i still think there’s a chance all the errors were a result of the giant’s devil fruit. there’s still no explanation for the weird “missing panel” when nami and usopp fell out of the castle last chapter
Can we first just appreciate Oda tossing in a last-minute color page spread dedication towards the Legendary Maggie Smith? All of them in Hogwarts Robes and on Bamboo Flying Broomsticks. A cute and awesome nod to another fantasy that inspires us. Thank you, Oda-Sensai.
Luffy has had gear 5th since wano. That's three arcs he has transformed and the egghead outfit he had was essentially an overcoat. he takes it off when fighting Lucci on egghead and I assume he does the same when he fights the goresei and Kizaru. This is the first time we've seen him transform with a wholly different outfit technically. also I think its Usopp who says that the giant with the stag head on is a huge giant. It might be someone else saying this but they all have reference for how tall the giants they know are so maybe this false sun god is actually as big as you think.
I wonder, Oda introducing a created world in a world, if luffy gets inspired by that and unlocks the ability to break the 4th wall. Wishful thinking but him breaking the glass instantly reminded me that 4th wall breaking was a idea people had back then. Also, Imu vs G5 4th walling each other is certainly a worthy conclusion of that massive story. It would also be kinda unique
Jumping from an adventure to the next leaves no time for training. You've got to test yourself in actual battle, instead; that's Luffy's way, at least. It's his only excuse ,too, for leveling up so quickly. 😅
@@vincenthammons-kd9du But now he can switch out of it prematurely to avoid that punishment, as opposed to when he first used it on Dressrosa and wasn't able to switch out until it ran out
Yeah the Gear 5th outfit thing was weird for me at first in the manga as it made no sense, but in the anime with his fight against Rob Lucci, he takes the outfit off first
This giant sun god could be Loki in disguise we don’t know the limits of his power but for someone to be royalty and named Loki the god of mischief these current events happening are mischievous turning a cat into a lion to mess with the straw hats. This could also explain how they randomly showed up at this Lego zoo as Loki would be all powerful and possibly possess some spatial manipulation devil fruit. Idk just a theory from the theory theory no mi🤪
what i also noticed was, that luffy didnt got winded and turns into an old man after using Gear 5th, he just straight up went on running with the others.
It's no surprise that the antagonist (so far) is exploiting the Legends of Nika for their own personal gain. But the real question we should ask is whether or not the SH can really expose the imposter for the fraud they are. Because I am not so sure that having Luffy shift into Gear 5th & beating the false God in front of everyone may change anything. However, I can see it as a good opportunity for Luffy to finally learn about what his DF power really is, and how he'll properly use it to convince everyone that he is the true wielder of the Legendary Zoan of Liberation! All of which may parallel to how Luffy didn't sleep during the time when Hancock told him about her past.
@@joenoodle6914 it doesn't necessarily have to be Luffy. The other SH may do it since they were the who learned the truth about their Capitan's power from Vegapunk.
Another weird thing is zoro said he heard a noise and followed it and ended up in the destination, kinda weird that he understood his sense of direction
Honestly, I noticed this about Luffy's clothes so much earlier. And it's because I'm doing a fic and I was wondering why Bonney's clothes changed from her egghead outfit to her normal ones but in gear 5 colours. And it seems that Luffy cannot actually change the clothes he's already wearing on his body. He can alter the colours or make new ones that are temporary. But he cannot alter what he's already wearing, he can take off or keep on. Bonney could change her clothes because she was in a future form where she had that fruit and my theory is that she CAN affect the clothes on her target with the person but often decides not to because it doesn't benefit her to do so in a fighting situation. It's why her clothes don't end up swamping her when she goes back to her true age. So releasing hee devil fruits full powers changes her clothes from the egghead outfit to her white and purple version of her usual one. Luffy can't do that with his devil fruit. The other evidence I have is actually film red even though I know it isn't canon. If you stop in a freeze frame when he and shanks defeat Tot Musica, you can see he is in his red trousers from Uta's black outfits rather than his usual shorts. Now if the idea is that Luffy can choose which clothes he wears and alter to them in his form. Why choose to stay in Uta's outfit and not revert back to his typical one? That's the best evidence I have. And yes, I know Film Red isn't canon but I'm guessing the abilities of gear 5 are somewhat canon. Also, the only instant I remember him creating objects out of thin air was those goggles that he pulled out of his white hair. That was pure creation. But it wasn't derived from what ue was already wearing. In other words what I'm saying is that Luffy's form changes the colour and flexibility of what he already wears but it cannot change it properly. I'm assuming on egghead he kicked off his spaceboots and the jacket whenever he fought and some background character brought them back to him at the end of the fights. That's the only reasonable explanation as to why he can appear with them back on later. I think even the anime must think this because they show Luffy taking his coat off before fighting Lucci.
Hold on, ain't this Sun God similar to that one guy in God's Knights? "A large person wearing a bovine skull mask, wielding a staff weapon of some sort"... Hmm, answer this, Mister Man Who Talks About Fictional Pirates!
Ussop being the first straw hat to accomplish his goals makes perfect sense. We need a brave warrior in the fights to come. But that made me think about the order of resolutions. Here’s my guess. 1: Ussop. Ussop should be first. 2: I think Chopper will find a cure to the worlds most deadly diseases before the final war. 3: will either be Zoro or Robin during the final fight. 3.5: Robin or Zoro lol 4: Sanji, nearly immediately after the final war 5: Jinbei: I don’t know if it has been stated as his dream or not but I imagine that Luffy will bring Fishman Island above the sea and that will resolve Jinbei arc. 6: Brooke will go straight from Laugh Tale/ peaceful resolution to laboon. If Luffys big dream was to have a party with the entire world this might happen before Brooke goes to Laboon, but I think it will be a ride into sunset ending where Luffy travels the world and party’s with everyone. Nami will likely have a similar resolution to building a new map of the world.
I still kind of think some of the strange mistakes last chapter were intentional to cause confusion amongst the readers..but idk it just feels off that exactly that one chapter had such weird inconsistencies out of nowhere.
Sol is the name of the Norse Sun goddess. I’m really hoping that this turns into something like Harry Potter where there are different houses depending on which Sungod you want to follow
So I haven't compared myself, but I've heard others state this "Sun God" appears far larger than any regular giant. My personal theory since Oda brought out the absinthe is that he's mixing in some European fairytale vibes and taking inspiration from Lilliput in Gulliver's Travels and/or Alice in Wonderland. My theory at the time was that they were going to use something akin to an Amanita mushroom to make the Strawhats larger so that they'd be the same size as the giants, but now I think it's the opposite. I think there's a chance that the Sun God is the height of a normal giant or perhaps even a human, and the Strawhats have been shrunk by a devil fruit to fit in the enclosure.
Now I'm starting to wonder if all the giants that left the island to be pirates were the "weakest" or "smallest" of the giants and the giants on Elbaf are all significantly bigger/stronger
Honestly, I wouldn't question a cat that transforms into a lion in a series where there are birds who always point south and gigantic bird monsters. Probably just something it does
We are definitely in the ‘near limitless possibility’ stage of the arc. Not that that’s a bad thing, it’s probably my second favorite part aside from ‘thematic lore drops’ and a close tie with ‘emotional heart of arc combines with climax’. Honestly I have no clue how Elbaf will go. We still don’t know where the giant warrior pirates are, or how the straw hats got to the island. I’m still curious to check on that.
I think its Loki he has the ability to shape shift and disguise himself as a female giant or somewhat. Loki is also considered to be a fire god like prometheus and a trickster, hence the sun god. Since he/she is mischievous, he/she could be playing around with some of the lives of the giants and people living there, a fabricated world made by him. Maybe Im wrong, but that's my guess.
"gear 5th would risk getting stale of new elements weren't constantly introduced" my dude what are you talking about? it is THE most insane, unpredictable transformation in manga history, by basic virtue of what it does on a foundational level it's unlikely we'll ever see it the same twice, the outfit change was hardly necessary, but cool for sure. Though I'm still wary to call any of this 'unusual' stuff "real" quite yet, including last chap's inconsistencies, something definitely still feels very off all around imo.
To be fair it's not even ELBAF quiet yet. I really hope this is USOPPS power up arc,And others are in due for a power up to,Like Brook,Franky,And even nami.
First, I'm glad I'm not the only who noticed the drastic difference in the giant size vs. the strawhats. They were always bigger of course but now they make normal size people look like ants. Personally I love that because it makes the giant finally seem imposing instead of just a bigger target for people like Luffy, Zoro and Sanji, but yes very inconsistant with the original sizes. Also, I'd say the size difference first showed up on the giants' ship. The way the strawhats were sitting on the couch like insects was what gave me the first pause. Since Oda does have a history with size scaling, let's ignore that and put out a theory. What if this Sun God woman has the ability and shrink objects and organisms, and that's why the size difference seems abusive. Like she can shrink things smaller than giant can grow tall?
After reading the chapter I have two main thoughts; 1. Liam and everyone else in the fandom was completely wrong about the "Loki making everyone hallucinate" - they stayed consistsnt this chapter so it was 100% a bunch of errors and I seem to be the only one that was right. You should listen to a Scandinavian, especially during this arc. 2. Nami is very well aware of what Vegapunk said about Luffy and his devil fruit, so why isn't she saying anything about all this sun god stuff? She should be going "hold up a minute, you are no sun God. How I know? My captain is the real one".
I think that's because Nami doesn't particularly care about someone calling themselves God of whatever, she is more worried about that person being very strong. This isn't a theological debate on who is the true Sun God. It's more like "oh no we angered an important person"
@@ProfiteerProphet very much not what you said. Oda has leaned in heavily on the sun God stuff for a whole while now and everyone on the crew except Luffy should know about the reality of his devil fruit and thus interject when someone falsely claim to be said god. Nothing I said could even be countered with what you tried as an argument since my point was about the term/title itself and it being mentioned so casually about someone we know for a fact is not said god. It was not about strength or fear of someone strong since "sun God" popped up several times during the chapter.
@@ProfiteerProphet You are totally right, mate, Nami surely is no pious person lol! I thought more along the lines of the "sun god" title being like a label for Luffy's devil fruit that was introduced as such by Vegapunk and because of that there can only be one "sun god" in that sense, but survival is def more important
Luffy clothes did change back to his normal fit. He lost the skirt and boots the exception is he kept the fluffy cloak/cape. And that's probably cause he thinks it's cool. If he can manifest goggles and stuff he can probably pick and choose which clothes change back to his optimal fighting clothes
New theory: Through the Looking Glass. (The sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland). They were inside the mirror, which means a lot of things don't make sense because mirrors hold a reflection and not reality. The sun god is able to manipulate the reflection world, similar to Charlottte, but does so to play house and understand her own world, not just to spy and hurt others. I do like the idea of the sun god actually being the goddess Freyja, but too early to tell.
I think it has something to do with prince Loki, oda likes to use names for people's personality so Loki being the god of tricks in Norse mythology maybe this is prince lokis like 'ant farm' and he has put the straw hat crew inside
I'm still of the belief that the "errors" are completely intentional. Not only does Oda address a few of them in this new chapter, he doubles down on some of the more unbelievable ones (i.e. "Luffy" being full and "Zoro" being able to find "Luffy" all by himself). Plus there are even some more notable new ones than the one you mentioned. Such as Luffy not turning the ground to rubber when he lands in G5 (while he's clearly having fun) as well as him not being turned into a pruney old man after turning it off. Not to mention, the amount of times characters mention the possibility of hallucinations happening is highly suspicious if Oda wanted us to completely disregard the idea.
I noticed something that doesn't add up. The last panel of previous chapter we see the crew on the ground in front of the castle. But this chapter starts of with Sanji holding Nami and jumping down to join the others.
I wonder if they call him the sun god because he turns on and off the lamp to their terrarium.

This is an example of sanji's gag being funny
Fr
It had me on the floor because of Nami's face after.
You don't know what steel they make on Elbaf, but besides that, yeah it's weird
Zoro is great with directions wdym. If he didn't get captured he wouldn't have met luffy at the beginning.
I think nami could have beaten up the cat too she was just to scared to think rationally. Cause i doubt that the cat is stronger than ulti.
@@ollehkacb yeah for sure. She took out the hedgehog in one hit and that was nowhere near her strongest move
Did Usopp tell anyone he has observation haki?Or does the crew just figure that its common sense for the sniper to have it?
I'm 80% sure the Sun god is a woman (the slim silhouette, the high heels)
I'll even make a prediction, I think it's Freyja.
Edit: was super wrong. Oh well… that’s One Piece for ya.
Actually was going to say this. Freyja's animals are all here. They are two afterlives in Norse Mythology and Freyja has the second, So this could have been a heaven on earth for the people in the cage. A blissful life without war.
Agreed
I was first expecting the sun God to be a child but after seeing the silhouette I was convinced that it is probably a grown woman. Possibly this arcs princess
Yup this was my take since 1127 based on the flag on top of the lego castles/houses in 1127
Since the name of the raven is a fusion of the names of odins original raven, I think the sun god might be a combination of freyr and freya, cos freyr is actually associated with the sun in norse mythology and his sister freya uses a staff.
idk about anyone else, but i'm loving the design for the "sun god"
very soothsayer like
Newer Windigo concept like.
Looks like the gods knight from god valley
It's a very cool design for sure
yeah its more like soul reaper and actually dont have "sun" element, that's make those design interesting
If this is a scaled down elbaf then I'd argue that they are meant to represent them not be them.
The snake is the serpent that holds up Midgard and also is the cat. The Giant with the mask is Skrymir and looks so huge becuase it's a trick and the head is really a mountain. It all fits so far with Thor meeting Utgarda-Loki.
I wonder if the Hyll in Hyllungander is pronounced like Hel.
One piece fans last chapter : all the mistakes are hints and parts of the build up for a major plot twist
Oda : I'm just old and tired man
Bite Your Tongue
You know I was thinking in the back of my mind that it would be hilarious if all the errors really WERE just mistakes and everyone was going
“AHA!
The weapons changing is typical RPG ... no? I also saw a French UA-camr theorizing we are in a RPG last chapter so this will be a confirmation for him...
i mean presumably he got a decent amount of assistant and editor
its weird that alot of mistake go through so many people
maybe the whole team is tired even after taking consistent week break
The fake sun god is definitely a woman who just loves animals I can tell because of the normal sized handmade clothing, the strawhats comments about the sun god being delicate and them being dressed up like dolls, and she probably thinks chopper is cute and kept him out of the cage away from the dangerous animals, the two animals that weren’t in there didn’t attack him at all she probably collects animals and regular sized humans because she’s doesn’t have a family or some other anime backstory reason or it’s just a hobby
The next Rebecca/Vivi for Elbaf perhaps?
She is obviously a rich giant swordswoman with meat and candy

I feel like shikki is the most likely, but my heart wants rocks the most
Liam’s story telling through his artists drawing is spectacular
The "Sun god" looks too cool, I'm waiting for him to take the mask off and see the glorious weird design Oda cooked. That or it's Yamato again.
Imagine the reason they wear that skull is because underneath they are horribly scarred or something so they hide it away
@MarcyTheKindaCoolWizard I just imagine their head is the exact shape of the skull and they wear it just so people think their cool
I'd love a video showcasing your artists and editors. They do so much work and deserve a dedicated appreciation episode.
Its always fun seeing Chopper talk to animals
Here Luffy consistently had an axe and Sanji was scared of bugs.
maybe we left Nami's pov? maybe she isnt hallucinating anymore? maybe its all a production error? who knows
I think it just loads of errors
Maybe Oda made intentional mistakes to make us believe they are illusions, fake SHs etc ...
@@darkdestination4216Luffy saying he’s still full

It was a misdirect. Not everything needs to have a super grand purpose. Some things can just have little purposes
They were used against Kizaru. Sanji used it to deflect the beam shot at Bonney
@@NoName...... absolute nonsense
One more thing i noticed is that giant lady didn't got surprised by luffy's Nika form, why?
She saw the wanted poster perhaps. Or simply doesnt care.
Well at least the people are seemingly treated well enough.
I actually believe usopp already hit his dream a while ago

Gear fifth embracing the costume/clothing of the area is perfect for the nika legend… as every place has their own interpretation of the god of liberation it makes him more relatable to every species
He didn’t even talk about chopper’s outfit smh 🤦😔
My boy has HORN EXTENSIONS I LOVE HIM
There's something weird about the pacing as well I think.
I also noticed that all the people in the miniature village has sun god tattoos
I noticed that the snake was called Hyllmungandr.
That isn't really Zoro like, if he was really Zoro would probably go the opposite way of the sound while trying to go towards it.
yeah sure
I thought that Zoro got lost searching for the sound and found Luffy on the way there
I think they were inside a mirror and not in a glass box.
When Luffy went off on his own first, then Zoro followed the noise and cut a tower to take a shortcut to his direction.
he has no sense of direction not no sense of space
Seeing zoro, sanji and nami make luffy iconic lying face make me laugh
13:15 what was that ? xDD
I was thinking the same thing 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Jokes on everyone, these chapters are gonna end up being an ad for new one piece rpg and the story will actually continue in 3 weeks as normal.
Nami is keenly aware of gigantifying people considering what she went through on Punk Hazard
My headcanon is that they were still hallucinating a little bit when they woke up and that's why there's a lot of inconsistencies
Man on the internet thank you so much for uploading so much and with all the over channels I hope you have a good day
The chapter is called RPG, so maybe the inconsistencies are due to some roleplay roleplay fruit or something.
Y'all remember those non-canon arcs the anime made back in the day? It somewhat feels like we're back on those
Yeeees correct i felt the same...
Story
Idk that's still really freaky
4:02 content like that slice of pirate life stuff would make for amazing filler for the anime. A cover story woulda been nice too.
going by the theory of imposter Luffy doesn't it makes sense that Luffy asked Ussop that he could've taken down the Lion cat because the imposter doesn't know about the nature of Ussop but what he does know is that Ussop's bounty is the fifth highest in the crew....
You really think Ussop couldn't at least incapacitate that cat?
Usopp could handle that cat, but the fact that Luffy asked is a bit off
@@jase276 I think Oda is trying to slowly set up a giant usopp character arc. And luffy believing in usopp is probably a good step towards that.
GUYS I just realised something. In the anime during the time point 12:55 episode 1109 they show a bar and at the top of the bar there is a decoration/head that looks similar to the "sun god"
People say "why do people theorize?"
Because it feels great to be right.
Like I was right when people were saying yggdrasil is the top of the Adam tree, and I said 'nope, it's a glorified bansai tree owned by some giant' and that it being destroyed wouldn't do anything other than anger the giant that owns it
hmm lol thats dope
I mean, I would argue that theorising is also just fun in general.
If you think about it, it’s basically like pre-emptive fanfiction.
The key is to not get too hung up on a theory that people deny it simply cuz you’re being annoying about it
@@collecter343 that's definitely a loud minority situation
The thing is, we gotta wait a whole week, sometimes more, for the next chapter. So what's the harm in theorizing after finishing the week's chapter?
i still think there’s a chance all the errors were a result of the giant’s devil fruit. there’s still no explanation for the weird “missing panel” when nami and usopp fell out of the castle last chapter
Chapters are usually done 3 weeks before release, this probably isn't a hommage.
I'm pretty sure that was them just dressing up as generic wizards/witches for Halloween but that'd be nice if it were.
I just assumed the cat ate a lion devil fruit.
Maybe Luffy is spamming Gear Fifth to get used to it. As training to get rid of the fatigue after use, like he did with third and fourth.
he still gets hit with fatigue with fourth or loses his haki for a time
Jumping from an adventure to the next leaves no time for training. You've got to test yourself in actual battle, instead; that's Luffy's way, at least.
It's his only excuse ,too, for leveling up so quickly. 😅
That's a good point. But I still feel like it's getting overused. I miss the other gears.
@@vincenthammons-kd9du But now he can switch out of it prematurely to avoid that punishment, as opposed to when he first used it on Dressrosa and wasn't able to switch out until it ran out
Yeah the Gear 5th outfit thing was weird for me at first in the manga as it made no sense, but in the anime with his fight against Rob Lucci, he takes the outfit off first
Current mood: daily one piece review
This giant sun god could be Loki in disguise we don’t know the limits of his power but for someone to be royalty and named Loki the god of mischief these current events happening are mischievous turning a cat into a lion to mess with the straw hats. Idk just a theory from the theory theory no mi🤪
Luffy didn’t turn into an old man after using gear 5…what do you think about that, man on the internet?
Prolly cause he didn't use it for long but could be me spouting nonesense
what i also noticed was, that luffy didnt got winded and turns into an old man after using Gear 5th, he just straight up went on running with the others.

That Elbaf is about 90% of what i thought.
Tho the mistakes from last chapter are still odd.
All of which may parallel to how Luffy didn't sleep during the time when Hancock told him about her past.

why would luffy ever want to prove to people he's a god?
@@joenoodle6914 it doesn't necessarily have to be Luffy. The other SH may do it since they were the who learned the truth about their Capitan's power from Vegapunk.
Another weird thing is zoro said he heard a noise and followed it and ended up in the destination, kinda weird that he understood his sense of direction
It’s crazy how cool this came out!
3.5: Robin or Zoro lol
4: Sanji, nearly immediately after the final war
5: Jinbei: I don’t know if it has been stated as his dream or not but I imagine that Luffy will bring Fishman Island above the sea and that will resolve Jinbei arc.
But I am confused about the inconsistencies from last chapter
i assume Oda drew the panels but assistants finished it. idk though. lol
Genuinly worried about oda this is WAYY too many mistakes without purpose unless some other plot twist comes
This chapter is giving the wall subplot from Solar Opposites
I still kind of think some of the strange mistakes last chapter were intentional to cause confusion amongst the readers..but idk it just feels off that exactly that one chapter had such weird inconsistencies out of nowhere.
Im sorry but gotta screenshot 0:22 for my background laptop
U mean 0:29 😈
This is so cool! I could watch this all day!
Honestly, I wouldn't question a cat that transforms into a lion in a series where there are birds who always point south and gigantic bird monsters. Probably just something it does
I like donuts.

Me too man😁

We are definitely in the ‘near limitless possibility’ stage of the arc. Not that that’s a bad thing, it’s probably my second favorite part aside from ‘thematic lore drops’ and a close tie with ‘emotional heart of arc combines with climax’. Honestly I have no clue how Elbaf will go. We still don’t know where the giant warrior pirates are, or how the straw hats got to the island. I’m still curious to check on that.
Calling it. That "Sun God" is Loki.
It has nothing to do with anything, but Luffy and Loki sound close
I think its Loki he has the ability to shape shift and disguise himself as a female giant or somewhat. Loki is also considered to be a fire god like prometheus and a trickster, hence the sun god. Since he/she is mischievous, he/she could be playing around with some of the lives of the giants and people living there, a fabricated world made by him. Maybe Im wrong, but that's my guess.
The "sun god" gives me major wendigo vibes, which could be interesting if it's actually supposed to be wendigo related.
I think it's just the concept visual wise for now, the original tales didn't have antlers that came mainly after a 1970s movie.
The giant design looks like the witches from AC Valhalla
Nami already got a powerup in wano though thru zeus
Do they need power ups though?
"Sun god" looking like choppers monster point , another human human fruit 👀
Really hoping usopp pops off this arc 🤞
After reading the chapter I have two main thoughts;
Agreed especially with the second point, cause come on, at this point somebody at least has to point it out?!?!?
100 views in 40 sec, bro hasn't fallen off yet
So basically what we learned was that the last chapter was indeed massively fucked up with errors.
0:55 - gross...
Oda's decree trumps your opinion
@@SebbeB89 good thing I'm the one following what he actually put in the manga
I know I thought the same thing like how many times do we have to go over this 💀
New theory: Through the Looking Glass.
2 min and 19 likes the man on the internet infact fell off
I think it has something to do with prince Loki, oda likes to use names for people's personality so Loki being the god of tricks in Norse mythology maybe this is prince lokis like 'ant farm' and he has put the straw hat crew inside
