- Leviticus 15 is a very difficult passage to understand if you don't understand the point of God giving the law. If you are looking to the law for salvation, you wont find it because that is not the point of the law. Let's look today at some very natural parts of life, that God deemed as "unclean" and see why He did so.

“Even in the natural things, man is inherently unclean.” That is a sobering thought. It solidifies the thought that we need to hold Jesus near at all times, because so much of our day to day lives needs to be cleansed. Thanks for this lesson.

I've really been struggling with Leviticus, and I always have. I was in my Bible today and I was praying that I need help understanding this. A lot of times God has just given me understanding, and other times He has lead me to others that explain it well enough for me to grasp. I appreciate your help. The way my heart speaks to me as the holy Spirit convicts me on the subject, I believe the first portion of the blockage and talk of the discharge would be more related to the boughs I believe. The Bible in many ways is very specific about certain things and it did make mention very specific that some secretions involve blockages which leads me to believe that the original in the very first point of Leviticus 15 is referring to the digestive system and those type of secretions

I would just disagree with your statement that we no longer have to observe the Law. Messiah specifically said He didn't come to abolish the Law. If His fulfilling of the Law means we don't have to follow the Law, that would be abolishing it. Heaven and earth have not passed away. All of the Apostles followed the Law, including Paul, Acts 24:14.

Hey, I know it’s been a year since you posted this. But I need some guidance. I know that we are clean through Jesus, but. If lets say my sister, is going through her cycle or has her period, and she touches something without first cleansing herself through Jesus, is that thing still unclean? And if i’m clean can I not touch it? Also, the Israelites had to wait seven days to be fully cleansed by offering a sacrifice, do we have to wait that amount of time before we can have Jesus wash us too? Because he is now our sacrifice? Please. I need help.
Do the answer is that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law. He is the Word made flesh (John 1). Every Word of the Law was not just kept by Him, but it was fulfilled in Him. So if you are in Him you are clean.
Using your example, there is a story of a women who had been bleeding for 12 years. She touched the hem of Jesus garment in a crowd one day. Was Jesus made unclean in that scene? Not at all.
You see when you are saved you are now in Christ, and you are made clean.

Hey @@wsaploker4267, Sin is still sin. If the Lord said something is sin, it is sin. If we have committed any sin, we are to repent to the Lord and forsake our sin and turn to the Lord.

I have a question, so God give women their period as a part of reproduction? If he gave this to us is he creating us to be unclean to show the contrast? Or did women only get a period as a side effect of Eves sin in the garden? Or is there another explanation?
Great video Brother! It really made me think. However I still have one worry about Leviticus 15 - Do I have to always wash my clothes even after a bit of semen fell on them? It's really worrying - Because it probably isn't good to waste semen (life energy and those things) - and I don't really know what to do after a light wet dream for example. In short - can I wear clothes which had some semen on them and weren't washed?
After you awaken from “wet dream” it would be best to take those soiled drawers off. Take your daily shower or wash up and then wash your drawers cause there is a definite smell if you leave things like that around.
It's important to note my brother that unclean is not in and of itself "wrong" or sinful. No matter how you approach the fact, Yeshua was unclean whenever a leper, unclean woman etc. touched Him. Every time Yeshua touched Mary when she was menstruating He WAS unclean. Unclean did not mean sinful and sinful did not make one necessarily unclean. Clean and unclean had to do with when your ability to approach the Temple. Yeshua was a man born of woman born under law. He was unclean but unclean did not mean sinful. My2Cents
Then why did the men in leviticus with the issue have to offer a sin offering? And the women who had an issue of blood, they had to make a sin offering afterwards? Why is a woman having her period a sin?? We physically can't control that.
@MissMuffins_ Maybe I was inclear. I was trying to express that unclean was not the same as sinful. Sin made one unclean but being unclean was not sin.
