Haven’t played this game since I was a kid and forgot many of the dungeons. Easily the best Zelda game with the best dungeons

I figured Arbiter's Grounds was going to be number one. Everybody can't get enough of it. It's one my favorites. I like your number one being Snowpeak Ruins. I love the block puzzles on the ice floor. :)

My favorite is either Arbiter’s Grounds or Lakebed.
I can’t pick because I really like the Water temple from Ocarina and the puzzles that lakebed has, but Arbiters grounds is just really good overall…
Oh yeah great list by the way!

Thanks! Arbiter’s and Lakebed are both really good for sure

Those were my favorites in my second playthrought too. Arbiter's grounds didn't impress me that much the first time, but somehow I liked it a lot more the second time around.

City in the Sky is one of the very few dungeons in the Zelda series I really dislike. It's so painfully slow and the atmosphere is kind of annoying (especially the background music).
The Palace of Twilight feels like the predecessor of the Silent Realms in Skyward Sword when it comes to atmosphere and concept. It's not entirely the same, but both give the feeling of being chased in an eerie setting.

    • @FPawesome1
      @FPawesome1  3 роки тому +4

I can understand why some people dislike the City in the Sky. It does take a super long time, which isn’t for everyone. The atmosphere is definitely weird, and not necessarily my favorite, so I agree on that point.
That’s a pretty interesting comparison! I always saw the Silent Realms as a condensed version of the Twilight realms, but now that you mention it, the Palace has some similarities too.

    1. City in the Sky
    2. Palace of Twilight - i personally love the moody atmosphere even if it’s kind of lacking in other aspects
    3. Arbiter’s Grounds
    4. Lakebed Temple - this water temple is not that bad actually. it reminds me of a nice spa.
    5. Snowpeak Ruins
    6. Hyrule Castle
    7. Forest Temple
    8. Goron Mines
    9. Temple of Time - extremely monotonous in replays in my opinion

When I played temple of time I went ALL the way To the end, then I took the wrong statue back to the start and had to go all the way back through the dungeon

What your favourite TP dungeon says about you:
Forest Temple: You were annoyed by the 2 million year long intro and were relieved that you made it to a dungeon.
Goron Mines: You like Lord of the Rings because lets admit Fyrus is basically a Balrog.
Lakebed Temple: You are extremely clever and good at solving puzzles.
Arbiter's Grounds: You like to go along with the majority. Or you just like this dungeon.
Snowpeak Ruins: You have a unique personality and don't mind jumpscares.
Temple of Time: You played Ocarina of Time way too much back in the day.
City in the Sky: You don't mind when you get lost.
Palace of Twilight: You love Majora's Mask
Hyrule Castle: You like bosses and don't mind dying to them a few times.
This is entirely a joke btw. Please don't take this seriously.

    3. Snowpeak Ruins
    4. Lakebed Temple

    6. Forest Temple
    7. Hyrule Castle (the final boss fight is great, though)
    8. Goron Mines
    9. Palace of Shadow

Arbiter’s Grounds is the best one for me! It had the best design and atmosphere. It’s also a good length with amazing monster design.

  • @legrandliseurtri7495
    @legrandliseurtri7495 2 роки тому +3

I agree on the bottom three, to me these are mediocre at best, but I have a very different opinion for the top 2/3.
6)The forest temple is very...plain and standard, but it's a fine enought dungeon still.
5)The temple of time is one that disappointed me the second time I played throught. Once the novelty of having to do an entire dungeon backwards wears off, what you're left with is a very basic dungeon with simple puzzles and way too many annoying enemies.
4)Snowpeak ruins starts off pretty badly with a very straightforward progression(you're basically on a guided tour) and those stupid ice baddies, but once you get the main item, the enemies are no longer an issue, and the dungeon ends with the really cool puzzle of carrying a cannon ball throught 6-7 rooms.
3)City in the sky also dropped on my second playthrought. I remember it being super long and complicated, and it is, but not as much as I thought. Great atmosphere tho.
2)Arbiters grounds is one I enjoyed much more the second time around. It's got many really creative puzzles and the bosses are fantastic by Zelda standards.
1)Finally, lakebed temple was always my favorite. It's both quite complicated and challenging, but it never gets tedious somehow. However, the boss is crap lol.

    My favorite and least favorite:
Favorite: Snowpeak (I just like snow dungeons, and I really liked the boss fight)
Least Favorite: Sky (I get the love of complexity, but I got lost 7 times on my first try ;-;)

Palace of Twilight really had a fitting and dark atmosphere that I was quite fond of. The music overall is so dark yet likeable and memorable at the same time imo. For a game that was called Twilight Princess, I really wish this would have been the final boss dungeon.

Favourite dungeon: Arbiter’s Grounds. The best dungeon in the series for me. How it uses Link in both wolf and human form is great. Also the dungeon item is criminally underrated
Least favourite: the dungeons in this game are pretty great but if I had to pick one it would be Lakebed. Got lost way too many times in my first playthrough

    • @FPawesome1

I totally agree that the spinner is underrated. It’s honestly one of my favorite items in the series.

    1. City in the Sky
    2. Lakebed Temple
    3. Arbiter’s Grounds
    4. Snowpeak Ruins
    5. Palace of Twilight - even though it is extremely straightforward, it does feel like an actual palace, and it’s cool to scale the rooms with almost nothing below you, heightening the player’s sense of fear
    6. Temple of Time
    7. Goron Mines
    8. Forest Temple
    9. Hyrule Castle - the aesthetic is great, but not much else

Before this game came out I was worried it'd have another frustrating water temple that would cause me to quit the game for a while just like the games before it. But I was pleasantly surprised

  • @bugamoose6

    My ranking:
    1. Arbiters Grounds (Interchangeable with snowpeak)
    2. Snowpeak Ruins
    3. Temple of Time
    4. Goron Mines
    5. City in the sky
    6. Forest Temple
    7. Lakebed temple
    8. Hyrule Castle
    9. Palace of Twilight
Overall, I like all the dungeons in twilight princess, but I was always somewhat disappointed by how short and straightforward both hyrule castle and palace of twilight are.

    • @FPawesome1
      @FPawesome1  2 роки тому +1

I agree that the palace of twilight is lacking (as you can probably tell from it being last place in my vid). Hyrule castle could’ve done a bit more in the second half, but I love the outer courtyard part.

    • @bugamoose6
      @bugamoose6 2 роки тому +1

@@FPawesome1 definitely agree. The dungeons are all just so strong in the game, one has to come in last and that for me is twilight palace.

The song was actually composed for Twilight Princess but went unused. It’s called Orchestra Piece #2. It has a different intro from the SS trailer, but turns into the same song.

Arbiter Grounds is without a doubt number one in my opinion. And The Palace Of Twilight is definitely dead last in my opinion. The thing is The Temple Of Time would have been number 2 in my opinion. But the reason it is number 3 and not number 2 like Snowpeak Ruins is because of the disappointing maine boss fight.

When you tp to desert of gerudo if you turn back you can see a dungeon with an insane amount of npcs. I've been trying to beat it almost 3 hours. Can someone please tell me what is the reward of beating this dungeon.

9: Water Temple, long and boring after a hour, crappy boss
8: Temple of time, way too easy, only good thing I can think of is the miniboss
7: Twilight Palace, honestly disappointed with the lack of lead up and how all we see of the realm is just a dungeon, but at least the Zant fight is good
6: Goron mine, this is where the Dungeons start getting good, it has a balanced difficultly for a 2nd dungeon with a cool boss and miniboss. But for a fire dungeon, it critically lack fire and too much water
5: City in the sky, it looks cool and has a great boss and miniboss, good puzzles and a great atmosphere, the problem is that you spend too much time waiting for a panel to turn or a wind to blow
4: Forest Temple, it is one of the best first dungeons, it is simple and has the right difficultly for a 1st dungeon
3: Hyrule Castle, imo, it is the best 3D final dungeon
2: Arbiters Ground, honestly I cannot think of a single flaw in this dungeon, if only all dungeons could be like this
1: Snowpeak Ruins, best dungeon in the series imo
