Hi Andreas! Thanks for the informative video, I heard that when replacing brake pads, it is important to ensure the old and new ones have the same friction material, otherwise a rotor change is also recommended. Would you agree or is it fine to change breaking pad materials without a rotor change?
Just make sure you have a rotor that is compatible with both (some shimano rotors are made for resin pads only) Metallic brake pads would not be my recommandation anyway. Organic coumpounds are quieter and offer a very predictable performance.
Hey! I check them after a hard gravel/cyclocross race and when I feel like my levers are closer to the handlebar then usual. Could be a good idea to check them whenever you wash your bike.
