I went (solo) to Vienna Metal Meeting 2023, its a good one or two festival (depending if you go to the pre party show, I did because Tankard were playing). Usually combines bands doing tours around Europe (something like one all-star lineup tour to limited cities) and some one off bands. Its a cool venue. I stayed at the Travel Lodge across the road, but public transport is very accessible from in and around Vienna and late enough so you could stay somewhere else in the city. Plus lots of history around the place to do site seeing in the city itself
There's a small festival in Gateshead near Newcastle the following week to Bloodstock called Get Heavy Fest for UK based. Pitfest from what I've seen is a good one over seas
I've been to Bloodstock, Brutal Assault, Metal Days, Mystic and Rockstadt, and Bloodstock was by far least best of them all. By far. Brutal Assault is a great festival, and factoring in the cost of flights, hotel, beer, car hire etc, it worked out at about the same cost as Bloodstock. Hotels do sell out quickly, so if you want to get one, book early. Also, if you go to Prague, don't forget the Sedlac Ossuary.
@@ShambolicMetalAdventures It honestly doesn't surprise me! Awesome, Brutal Assault is on the bucket list! And yes, I've never been to the Sedlac Ossuary, it looks amazing! 😍
hey guys, i just moved to Porto, Portugal, and thanks to you and your video i got to meet Manuel, the owner of Bunker Store, the metal store. I told him about you and how i learned about his store, and showed him the video you made on youtube. Thanks! if youre ever back in Porto, let me know and we'll hang out- Oscar
@@OscarRamirez-mi5co Wow, this is amazing! It's so cool that our video led you to meeting Manuel ❤️Thank you 🙏We will definitely let you know if we come back to Porto! We have a better camera now so we can film again with that! 😁Hope you are settling into the city nicely!
One festival id love to do is wacken but it sells out litteraly straight away , durham was supposed to have a festival earlier this year for the first time but it fell apart from management side of things
Have done Bloodstock the last 4 years as well as Download, DL has outpriced me and I was fed up of the distance between areas too, barely managed to get the installment plan for Bloodstock but I always wanted to do Metal Days fest, I think it's changed to Tolminator now but Wyatts metal is a good youtube page with some ideas on fests if any help.
@@danbrowning4000 I went to Download once, years ago! But even then the campsites were so far away from the main arena 😳Metaldays was amazing, Tolminator is probably still awesome! Great, thank you! 😊
@markjohnston3790 True! I'm very close to my mum though, so I love it when she joins us. Lars and I will be doing Inferno festival in April, just us two ☺️

Come to Alcatraz Belgium instead of Bloodstock, you will not regret it, awesome festival and line up😊
@@natasjad.5207 I think our final decision is Alcatraz! 🥹😃Need to do some more research with it etc and then book!
coool line up
Hells Heroes Festival , Houston, Texas is really nice, but damn expensive.
Really want to do Obscene Extreme just don't know how to get there and back with public transport
There is a train and a bus that goes to Trutnov from Prague, its then just a short walk to the fest. Highly recommend going at least once.

Amber should get a Bob haircut 😮

@josephleyviman we are not unfortunately 😢would love to but it's quite expensive to do two years in a row. We are looking at 2026 though 👀🤩
go to OEF
OEF is 100% a bucket list festival for us but probably not gonna happen in 2025. Maybe the year after, who knows 🤘
