My vote is to make a bag with your sweater piece. That way you could still “wear” it out as an accessory. I’m envisioning some fringe along the bottom and an embroidered guitar strap for your shoulder. Would fit with your current folk music vibe!!
If you have enough yarn to maybe finish the front you could find a similar yarn or maybe even buy more of the same yarn and make a vest ? If you don’t have that I think the idea of making a pillow seems like a very good way of saving this beautiful piece 💜
Could you turn the sweater panel into a wall hanging? Esmeralda’s fairy socks are perfection! I’m currently knitting DK socks for my husband while catching up on your lovely videos.
I think a pillow is awesome! I think if you put the ribbing at the top too and picked up stitches for ribbing at the sides, you could seam it to a different piece for the back and it would look super intentional… or you could just steek it down past the ribbing! Ooh, maybe you could fold it over somehow and make it into a hot water bottle holder or a tea cozy??

Loved this video as always! With the purple cabled panel I would cut a circle and sew a backing to it so it can become either a pillow or placemat for pans. Maybe you could also felt it and make it into a tea cozy as little big knits did in one of her videos ❤

I love the mittens! Mine are also always in different sizes, although I always knit them one after another, without anything else in between😂 but it‘s fine, as long as they keep your hands warm😉

My son just gave me my second hand me down phone, the first of which I never got going, just took photos on, I find Instagram very overwhelming, and too much information, and I don’t know how to navigate it at all! I might try a bit harder to navigate it,but I don’t do it ,my social media is ravelry, and UA-cam. I think you should make a vest out of your panel, take care from 🇨🇦

Some people make rectangular pieces and drape them over their chairs. One for the Back. One for the seat.
