- Recorded another Polyphia cover mainly in case the algorithm gods decide to bless me with another 20,000 views. This one coulda spent a little more time in the oven but there's an hour left in the cover contest and I'm tryna win a guitar over here. If there's something you wanna see me play, let me know in the comments. Also don't worry about the whiteboard in the back.
Recorded using my Schecter Omen 8 with the Tosin Abasi and Tim Henson Neural DSP plugins for the tones. Note for note (at least I tried), but I don’t have a 7+ string with a whammy bar and I moved some small parts in the clean riff and thumping sections just so they made more sense.
The tunings are E♭BEADGBE for the main riff and chorus, EBEADGBE for the thumping part, and ADGCFAD for the solo. I'm not sending anybody tabs, go get them at polyphiatabs.com and support the band.

For the first 3 minutes i thought this song would be learnable, but then i remembered it had that solo
honestly the solo isn’t tooo bad. it’ll def take time to master but not impossible

solo is probably one of the easiest part if you consider that there's a polyrythm thumping part

The tabs I’ve found don’t match up to the way you’re playing it and I like the way you’re playing it much better.

I feel like the hardest part about guitar for me is not knowing how to properly practice those techniques to develop consistency.

Mainly just watching Tosin Abasi play and learning Animals as Leaders songs. Not sure if their tabs are still available but he has a pretty good online course for learning thumping and selective picking
