Most supplies for soap, bath bombs, and other projects can be found in the grocery store or craft store. I get my citric acid in bulk from Amazon.

I love how you demonstrate your work at the end! We want to see them in action!! 🎬
I also loved the “still gonna look awesome when I’m done with it.” 😎😆 you’re great! lol
I’m enthralled with your videos. They’re great and informative
This has to be the best Geode tutorial I have watched. I actually didn't skip ahead! I can now be successful with these! Thank you very much :)
Those are so pretty thank you so much for sharing your talents with us.
Anyone else sure we’ve just had a tutorial by Melissa McCarthy?? Think that’s half the reason I enjoyed this so much! Great video!
6:40 - remember, if you're not making a mess, you're not doing it right! YOU'RE AWESOME!
the bath bombs you made are so beautiful.
It looks so awesome
Oh, and PS. Last comment I promise. Maybe.
I just saw some huge rock salt for bath products and such- will grab a link after I’m done watching. I think it’s from Two Hares? Anyway, they’re so large they look like crystals and I thought they’d look cool in some sort of geode themed product. Only thing is they’re so large that I’m not sure how long it would take for them to melt. The description said they can be used for multiple baths so are decent for tub teas, but they showed a photo of them after adding coloring and they are gorgeous!
If you dont make a mess you're not doing it right ;)
Mine kept breaking when I tried taking them out of the mould and you've just saved me so much time. thank you!
I am defiantly going to try this!!!! It's so COOL!!!!!
thanks for going slowly and showing all the steps
Thank you very much for this detailed and informative tutorial. You made all the steps very clear and easy to understand! I want to try this out as quick as I can...
I'm in Arizona too! Way out west! You have a new sub!

Thank you for sharing! You are by far the best teacher when it comes to making soaps and every thing else. I really appreciate you! I’m finally at the point where I am going to start my business and begin to sell my products and am curious to know what you price these at. They are time consuming. Thank you in advance for your help!😊
I've made bath bombs previously using food colouring and though I am unsure of why you say this is bad, I still changed my Amazon cart! Saved money regardless and I will take your advice. Thank you for this though I mainly watched because I wanted to learn about the outer shell part, I may end up doing this bath bomb in the future!
Thank you for sharing!
I love your diy❤
My mom always says that! "you can always add, but you can't take away!'
Beautiful. I'm new to your channel. I really enjoyed watching 👏
Great videos! Thank you for sharing!
New to you and your channel and absolutely love it and your ideas! 👍🏻🌷
Amazing!!!! Thank you very much!! :)
These are so beautiful!
So awesome!!!! I want some BAD!!! 😋
This is awesome. I'm too impatient to make a lot of them though, haha. However, my son's birthday is tomorrow and he loves geodes and rocks/crystals so I think I'll make him a set. Not that he likes to take baths but I still think he will like them. ☺
Great vid, thank you for sharing!!!
Looks great!!
You’re one of my new favorite people to watch. This is great, thanks! I love the geode looking stuff that’s become so popular. So pretty!!
Side note: so, what makes you prefer soaping colorant as opposed to micas? Easier to mix? Or it is due to the fact that one is more apt to color the bath water than the other? Just curious. I’m still learning so am clueless about most of this. lol
Just personal preference on the soap color.
It is much easy to spray the coconut oil inside.. Good video.
mirela d could you use fractionated coconut oil to spray it in?
Thanks! I really enjoyed your video. Love the finished product. Rock on! (get it? rock?)
Love love love it!
Thank you for sharing your method on these! They look beautiful! Could you also use epsom salts in the middle? Also, is your baking soda box equal to one cup, or 2 cups? Thanks! Jan
Th baking soda is a 6oz box. You could use epsom salt.
@@DesertCloudSoapworks Thank you!
Oh my gravy I love these..
Love this, I like doing DIY stuffs, too. It would be better if you put some essential oil, Last time, I made a DIY Candles myself, I used some essential oil brand on amazon, Brand like young living, ISUDA, PureOil, I love orange scent soooo much, That make me a perfect day
I will be adding these to my products to sell. I've been making bath bombs, soaks, steamers and scrubs the geode bb will be nice
“Smack down” 😭🤣😂😂
wwe smackdown LOL ( i was cracking up when i heard "smackdown" in the background)
Wonderful idea! Needs glitter tho!
Ty ,love your videos!
I love the raspberry fragrance
do you have to use polysorbate 80 with mica's or is that optional?
Sweet
Has anybody tried making the crystals with Epsom salts? These are so cool!
Yes, you can do Epsom salt. Works the same.
could you use epsom salt instead of table and sea salt
Absolutely.
what should be the ratio of dry ingredients and wet ingredients?
Thank you 😊
Can you use epsom salt instead of sea salt?
Yes
Quicker way to measure water...6 teaspoons = 2 tablespoons
Can you use Epsom salts in this DIY? I would prefer that due to the fact that I need that muscle relief. :)
Yes
thanks so much! won't the oil activate the citric acid prematurely?
Nope.
Thank you!
WILL THE SOAP COLORANTS LEAVE A COLOR RESIDUE IN TUB OR ON SKIN?
NO.
@@DesertCloudSoapworks THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GETTING BACK TO ME.
I have a family member that is allergic to a lot mostly all nuts and coconut could I use something else?
Any kind of oil that turns to a solid at room temperature would work. You could also use melt and pour soap base.
cool
Is there a specific reason why you used sea salt instead of epsom salt? I was gonna ask you if one could use epsom salt instead of the sea salt. I was just curious on your choice :)
I wanted a bigger crystal and the sea salt was bigger than epsom. There was no particular reason other than that. You would be able to use epsom salt just fine.
Desert Cloud Soapworks thank you for replying back!
Is table salt bad for you to soak in? Can we sub epsom salt for sea salt?
Of course!
How do these hold up in humidity/humid areas with all the salt?
I don't live in a humid area, so I don't know.
Love your vedio and subscribed! Do you think raw course sugar can be substituted for the course salt?
I'm sure it could, but you want to be careful with using sugar in the bath. It can cause some problems with sensitive areas.
Hi I'd really like to try the scent you added but the verbal web address you gave I can't find. Would you mind putting the link in you're description? Really love your tutorials! Thank you
It is scentimental gifts. The link is in the description.
Ugh I never saw it! Sorry and thanks again!
Omgosh!
Could you use essential oils instead of soap fragrance?
Of course!
Is that baking soda aluminum free?
I think your thinking about baking powder. Baking soda is only pure sodium bicarbonate and contains no aluminum.
You sound a lot like Melissa McCarthy! Great video
LOL!
I always have the problem of my bath bombs activating when I add the water. Why is that
JRPanda slowly add drops of water and heavily mix each drop.
how many est does this batch make?
It all depends on the size of your molds. I got 8 of them with a 2.75" mold.
I really wish my house had a bath! Have to make do with the shower....
Check out my video for shower steamers!
Most Shower Steamers can be used in the bathtub.
Where do you get jelly coconut oil?
You just need to heat the oil and leave it to settle for few minutes, before to go solid again
You make it
Where do you buy the Ingredients?
Grocery store and amazon for the citric acid.
How long does it take for the shell to dry?? Please help !!!
Depends on where you live. I'm in a super dry climate in Arizona and it took a few hours.
my not use epsom salt
This was the question I was going to ask. Why not?
Scroll down and you'll see she said you could use either but liked the larger sized sea salt. 🙂
It kind of looks like you were frying it
LOL.
Cool👏
