    Anyone else sure we’ve just had a tutorial by Melissa McCarthy?? Think that’s half the reason I enjoyed this so much! Great video!

    Oh, and PS. Last comment I promise. Maybe.
    I just saw some huge rock salt for bath products and such- will grab a link after I’m done watching. I think it’s from Two Hares? Anyway, they’re so large they look like crystals and I thought they’d look cool in some sort of geode themed product. Only thing is they’re so large that I’m not sure how long it would take for them to melt. The description said they can be used for multiple baths so are decent for tub teas, but they showed a photo of them after adding coloring and they are gorgeous!

    Thank you for sharing! You are by far the best teacher when it comes to making soaps and every thing else. I really appreciate you! I’m finally at the point where I am going to start my business and begin to sell my products and am curious to know what you price these at. They are time consuming. Thank you in advance for your help!😊

    I've made bath bombs previously using food colouring and though I am unsure of why you say this is bad, I still changed my Amazon cart! Saved money regardless and I will take your advice. Thank you for this though I mainly watched because I wanted to learn about the outer shell part, I may end up doing this bath bomb in the future!

    This is awesome. I'm too impatient to make a lot of them though, haha. However, my son's birthday is tomorrow and he loves geodes and rocks/crystals so I think I'll make him a set. Not that he likes to take baths but I still think he will like them. ☺

    You’re one of my new favorite people to watch. This is great, thanks! I love the geode looking stuff that’s become so popular. So pretty!!
    Side note: so, what makes you prefer soaping colorant as opposed to micas? Easier to mix? Or it is due to the fact that one is more apt to color the bath water than the other? Just curious. I’m still learning so am clueless about most of this. lol

    Is there a specific reason why you used sea salt instead of epsom salt? I was gonna ask you if one could use epsom salt instead of the sea salt. I was just curious on your choice :)

    • @DesertCloudSoapworks
      @DesertCloudSoapworks  6 років тому +2

      I wanted a bigger crystal and the sea salt was bigger than epsom. There was no particular reason other than that. You would be able to use epsom salt just fine.

    • @DesertCloudSoapworks

      I'm sure it could, but you want to be careful with using sugar in the bath. It can cause some problems with sensitive areas.
