  • This set is cool. Hard to say it more plainly than that. I wish I would've bought a second one... maybe someday, although the after market on these Bricklink Designer Program sets is a little crazy, and I have no doubt this one will be too. I also sat this next to the Lion Knight's Castle for a comparison. Both cool, but I prefer the Mountain Fortress if I had to pick.
Did you pick up this set?

My name is Travis and I'm an AFOL! I've been serious collecting Lego since 2021. I collect a little bit of everything from Star Wars to Fabuland to Pirates to CMFs. My biggest continual project is my city. The city is currently about 112 baseplates and always in constant evolution. When I started out with the city it was 21 baseplates and I never imagined when I started it would grow to this size. My collection has quickly overtaken my office that I now call the Lego Room. My favorite themes are Vidiyo, Dreamzzz, CMFs, Pirates, and anything I can use in my city.

Great review! I have both, building mountain fortress now. While lions knight has a better interior, the exterior stying def goes to mountain fortress. It’s stunning!

My biggest complaint about the lions knight is the one awkward open section in the top. I don’t quite know why it wasn’t closed in
