Thanks for posting this...This era is so special just everything in the world period.. I'm only born in 83' "only"😆.so young here still..but still know what's up...Luv from Sacra
I was barley in Jr High when this was filmed Dreaming of Tipping My own Lowrider down these streets. Glad I was able to make that dream come true a few years later and even to this day! Those Days were special cause they were real. They were not watered down like they kind of are today. This was a typical weekend for us for many years. Thank you for sharing!!!
I'm surprised no one mentioned how much was gas at that AM/PM it says $1.01 a gallon and $1.19 for Premium 🤣 I think around 1988 I used to put gas at the AM/PM on Branham/Jarvis for like $0.69 a gallon. I used to Cruise from like 1987-1992 met and dated too many girls back then it was great!! LOL
"Two cops pull up as we be jettin out, onto Tully Rd. another cruising route. It's just little street games that I like to play, cold chillin' in a city called San Jose!" - MC Twist
This is Tully Rd, in between the cross streets of McLaughlin Ave and Lucrecia Ave. Nighttime scenes start at Newberrys on Story Rd and King Rd, then to Dennys on Tully and Alvin Ave then Carls jr on Tully Rd in between Alvin/Lanai Ave and King Rd.
My uncle lived in green trees apartments. And when my family use to party they would send with money their ID and a note to cigarettes and liquor at that liquor store right behind the camera man. The 90's was a different world

We were doing the same thing in the 70’s, unfortunately we didn’t have any video cameras.
The best cruising years were in the 70's and 80's by story and king...!!
Lots of low riding cars...!!
