@@CaraWatscaSister regarding the negative comments, just be aware that many of those are from non Muslims posimg as Muslims online.
This is quite common and is done on purpose to discourage new reverts and those considering to revert.

When I started growing a beard, I was called the T word by my own sister. The reality is, there will always be those who look down upon what we do. But we can't submit to them and their opinions. We are not servants of societal pressure, but we are servants only God almighty. We do what Allah asks us to, as a form of obedience to him.
May Allah make you, Cara, and all our sisters firm in their conviction to obey him, and may Allah bless your heart with love for him, and may Allah bless us all with the best of this life and the absolute best of the life after.

Hijab is important but shouldn't be a reason why a woman can't revert. Most important is monotheism "Tawheed" and other basics.

Hi Cara, Asamalualikum Sister. I went to my local mosque 2 days ago (Wrexham) and they gave me a Quran and said to go and think and come back and take Shahada. They were so kind. They gave me coffee, cake and many brotherly hugs. I am so close to reversion. And then I come across your channel. Allah has guided me here. Thank you for your example, Alex 🙏🏻

Watching this literally feels like my journey towards Islam😭 but don’t worry about people’s opinions, you’ll never be able to make people happy, just focus on gaining knowledge and pleasing Allah and he will make it easy for you. Half of my family hate Muslims and people were tryna tell me it was a phase as well but genuinely just focus on yourself because these people are just blind to the truth.

As a revert I relate to your story SO much. Beforehand I practiced spirituality and many of the beliefs I already had resonated with Islam and the way you talk about Islam reminds me of how it was for me when I first read the Quran. Also I used to be insecure about saying asalamualaikum when I first reverted too and practiced so much its okay its really something you have to get used to so don't stress about it

Salam, it gets better sis. I reverted about 4 years ago, was 16 and agnostic at the time. The family situation is hard, I didn't wear hijab for the first 2 years and my parents also thought it was a phase. It's a process, if you can gradually build up to wearing hijab then go for it !! Also the being hot in hijab thing, there are definitely materials that are better than others for the summer heat like bamboo or linen. Personally I love wearing jilbabs or khimars, especially in the summer because they allow more air flow. Anyway just wanted to say, you got this insha'Allah ! 💙

You may feel alone but youve got Allah to speak to, cry and make dua while your in sujood thats when your most close to Allah, ill keep you in my prayers beautiful, you got this!!!

Its all test, sist. Every new muslim has experienced that.
Well, i would just remind you again, if you feel of having hard life (like, going rock bottom) after reverting, wearing hijab, marrying another muslim, etc.
You may want to remember this verse.
    Quran 29:2
"Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: 'We believe,' and will not be tested."
The test may come from people very close to you or even muslims themselves by the way.
May Allah gives you, me, and all of us here more power to face and overcome the trials.
    Peace be upon you :)

The correct pronunciation of "Astaghfirullah" is:
    "As-tagh-fir-ul-lah"
    - "As" (like "us" in "bus")
    - "tagh" (the "gh" is a guttural sound similar to the French "r" or Arabic "ghayn")
    - "fir" (like "fir" in "fir tree")
    - "ul" (like "ul" in "pull")
    - "lah" (like "lah" in "Allah")
So, it’s "As-tagh-fir-ul-lah". This Arabic phrase is often used by Muslims to express repentance and seek forgiveness from God.

    1. Bismillahi tawakkaltu ‘alallahi laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah
(In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah, there is no might and no power but in Allah)
    2. Ayatul Kursi (Surah Al-Baqarah/2nd chapter in the Qur'an verse 255)
    3. A‘uudhu bi kalimaatillaahit-tammaati min sharri maa khalaq
(I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from the evil of what He has created)
    [Three times]
May the Almighty always protect you whenever and wherever you are 😇

For born Muslims the sins r forgiven till the children go through puberty , so u taking baby steps and learning is totally okh there will be many people talking, criticising it might be hurtful but in the end what u choose is for your own good and in hereafter u have to speak for yourself so ignore all those people and be patient you will be rewarded for it ofcourse!! and for your family just pray to Allah to give them guidance insha'Allah the outcome will be what's the best for them , your soo cool and pretty wish u the best !! will wait for the rest of your journey 🩷🩷🩷 fighting!! ✊🏼✊🏼

As a revert I know the struggle even though my family is still loving and accepting you will have to listen to many things thrown at you... unfortunately even from Muslim that will judge you for everything even if you're just starting out and learning. Don't be discouraged, take everything in the pace it fits for you, don't be overwhelmed and know that the bullies are always loud and the supporters might be quiet. Just know you're not alone, maybe find another Muslim friend your age that can help you in your journey. May Allah bless you and make it easy for you 🤲🏻

Assalamu alaikom sister, first of all I want to tell you that you are doing great and Allah is going to reward you for all of the hardships. Your pronunciation at the end is very good and I think the absolute best piece of advice I can give you is to not care about other's people opinion, just remember that these kuffar(disbelievers) won't help you in the dunya(this life) or in the akhira(the hereafter) so live having just one thought in mind which is "what Allah will think about this?" instead of what will people say and I promise that life becomes incredibly easier!! Allah is so merciful while these people are so judgmental and will never be pleased with you NO MATTER WHAT!! Even if you did not say wallahi or did not wear the hijab at all instead of wearing it certain times they will find something to point a finger at you. Live to please the creator and not the creation my dear sister❤
By the way I can relate to you even if I was born into a Muslim family my dad never liked me wearing jibab or khimar and he would always call me names and it would hurt sooo bad because the hate and discrimination was coming from somebody close and not from an outsider, but even if it hurts what keeps you carry on despite everything is the love for Allah, and for this way of life which he has blessed us with, so having a strong relationship with your creator is really going to help...remember He sees everything that is happening to you and He is closer to you than your jugular vein!❤
Finally wanna make muslim friends and sorround your self with good company I really like having international Muslim friends from all over the world and I wish you all the best. May Allah reunite us in Jannah🤲🏻❤

It would be easier for you to stay off social media as it can get toxic & give a skewed impression of people when in reality this isn’t the case

If you need any help or inquiry about anything in Islam, Im here to answer it logically.
Islam is the compass of life and the safe road map for a difficult journey that guarantees reaching the safe shore when you die ❤ I have read all religions and generally contain contradictions and errors, such as the Bible, and even atheism is not logical. "Something comes from nothing".

It is better to wear the hijab part-time than not at all. We are all human, and none of us are perfect.

I think it’s absolutely okay for you to wear it out at times ! You have to extend yourself grace and take it slow so that your properly learning and practicing what your learn with great love because you actually understand it. Don’t worry about what others say , remember we all sin and that’s okay it’s about the repentance and trying to do better. Take it easy love and ask Allah to give you strength and ease. ❤❤

Girly whoever is making fun of you or others who dont speak Arabic for saying assalmualikum and other words differently will be held accountable for their actions by Allah. No one should be making fun of you or anyone else especially when you are still learning to grow in this religion. I tend to see a lot of comments on instagram that are very judgemental and I dont want you to get affected by them. Those people themselves aren’t perfect either. And I hate when I see those type of comments because it just scares people away from the religion when it’s nothing like that. Allah is the most merciful and the person he loves the most is someone who is trying to be their best even if they’re not and even if the whole world is judging dont forget Allah is proud of you especially that you have it harder than most. 💕 💕

Also I don’t know if you know this but you get extra deeds because of your struggle and even when you recite the Quran and your having a hard time, Allah recognizes your effort and rewards you for it. :)
