Excited to see the final. So FYI your tracking system alone is $5K+. Getting to use that for free is not realistic for almost everyone, so doesn't that go against the spirit and goal of making a $5-10K relatable and achievable VP shoot?
Perhaps you can use something like an iPhone mounted to your cinema camera for the tracking (Jetset Cine) and switch to a green screen. You can still have realtime VP and a live composite for everyone on set but will get around all the costly requirements related to genlock. It would be a True sub $10k shoot.
