These women were so god damn talented. They addressed real shit. Beautiful voices, beautiful souls, & outspoken. Will always be a fan of TLC.
I'm a huge tlc-fan since 1992!! ❤❤❤💯💯💯
Word. ❤️
Fun 90s music fact:
TLC - Creep
Stone Temple Pilots - Creep
Radiohead - Creep
All different.
All awesome.
Thanks 90s!
The quintessential R&B girl group of the 90's
That would be SWV...TLC was more like BBD- hip hop, R&B smoothed out on the pop tip.
En Vogue tho
@@IceManLikeGervin Good point. What am era for music. The standard was incredible. We where spoilt
@@jadehill2001 Ev Vogue too. lol
Xscape also had some great songs. Great era for R&B female groups (there were quite a lot of them in the 90s)
You need to react to Aaliyah. She was effing dope dude! TRY AGAIN, ONE IN A MILLION, ARE YOU THAT SOMEBODY?, BACK AND FORTH, AGE AINT NOTHIN BUT A NUMBER.Another one we lost too soon. RIP
YES!
OMG YESSS
I love her. Rock the Boat.
It's more difficult for reactors to get Aaliyah's music out there. Her family are very protective and picky about what they allow. That's why most of her music videos out there are of poor video quality.
@@mistymichelle9957 thats so sad. Why try to stifle the memory of such a beautiful talented woman?
Didn’t Lisa not agree with the message of this song? I think I remember her saying just leave if someone’s cheating. I’m with her on that one.
You’re right. I think that’s part of the reason she didn’t bother writing a verse for this song actually.
She wrote one for the remix.
Maybe that's why she burned her boyfriends house practically down to the ground. That's what he got when he cheated 😂 she was awesome RIP
that boyfriend was Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, Andre Risen
Yes, Left Eye Did NOT Like The Message...Lol...Her Thing Was, “Instead Of Telling The Girl To Cheat Back, Why Don’t She Just Leave. Why Do The Lyrics Have To Say That.”...Another Reason She Doesn’t Sing The Lyrics In The Video Or Live Performances During The CSC Era....
They really did sing about a lot of topics. Check out? Ain’t to proud to beg, what about you friends, red light special or baby baby baby
Yes YES and yes!!!!!!!
Yes all of those and Digging On You
I second all those recommendations ^^^ I will say Baby Baby Baby is just fun.
What you said about that they have a song about everything is 100% TLC. Their music had alot of diversity. Also why they were so popular because they were genuine, real and didn't take themselves too seriously to the point it was not forced.
You MUST do TLC's "Red Light Special" now.
Jayvee seems too innocent to be corrupted by that one lol.
@@AdamtheGrey02 lol!
Filth!!
Yasssss
Oh I would LOVE to see his reaction to this song 😂
I miss these beautiful talented singers 😓. Tho they were short-lived RIP Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes 🙏. These gals are from my neck of the woods and so proud of their content and style 💗🕊️
neck o' what woods, where they from?
@@WinneganFake Atlanta Georgia. I'm actually 15 minutes east of there
@@bethshadid2087 Cool, I thought they were Atlanta area but wasnt sure, thanks for reply
@@WinneganFake no problem
Left Eye was from the"Iladelph!!"(PA)
Baby, Baby Baby is another one of their amazing songs that I rarely see people request. It was on the album before this one.
LOVE TLC! Please do "Unpretty"!
Yes!
Still.one of my favorite songs EVER
This right here is a Real song!
A Grammy Award Winning, Platinum Selling, Billboard #1 for weeks Straight Up Smash!
Melodious, Dope ass beat, Sax all up in the Background, Honest lyrics, full of head banging vibes.
It's easily one of the Greatest Songs of it's decade and it's an Absolutely monster of a Hit! A Massive Lead Single for the 2nd Album that lead TLC to become the most successful & Award winning Female Girl group of all Time (by 1995)
Creep is Top 50 Greatest Songs recorded in my Book On account of Who Sung it, it's Success, Timing and Impact.
“Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” was their first single I believe. Please react to that as well as “What About Your Friends” and “Baby Baby Baby”. Lots of attention is given to the Crazy Sexy Cool álbum but their Ooh On The TLC Tip álbum should also have a look 👀
"Baby Baby Baby" and "Diggin' on You" are two Beautiful and Harmonious songs if you really listen!!!!!!
This song brings back so many memories! I had the red pajamas like Left Eye and I used to wear my hair like hers, lol. RIP an Idol
Please check Lauryn Hill "Ex-Factor", "Doo-Wop", ""Everything is Everything" or pretty much anything on the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album 🌋
He needs to do some En Vogue, too!
Yes yes yes!! Lauryn Hill!! Love Doo-Wop 😁
Second this! I hadThe miseducation of Lauryn Hill basically on repeat for like a year when it came out. Everything on it is GOLD
NOtihng matters
I am an old white woman in my 50's and I know every damn word to their songs!! They are so empowering as women especially back in the 90s as a newly divorced single mom. Their songs meant so much to me.
TLC “Unpretty.” I think you’ll feel that one. If you choose another GOAT ASS TLC SONG...think about that one. Love your vids and your reactions. Keep pushing!
This group was legendary. Huge and changed the game.
I really wish youd react to What about Your Friends by TLC...Its one of their old school best!!!
Ain't to proud to beg is also classic
The song is based on Tionne “T-Boz” experience of infidelity. The lyrics portrays the singers as women who cheat on their unfaithful lovers for attention.
Lol, I just said this. 👍🏽
Love this group and song!
it's about Chilli and Dallas
You need to listen to Unpretty by them. Such a good song.
This song really takes me back to the 90's, I think its the horns, maybe the beat, the singing but it's incredible when it came out and has aged like fine wine. I love this song.
TLC was such a great girl group. Great singers and such a cool vibe. I dont know if you know that Left Eye, the one who raps, died in a car accident many years ago l. So sad.
T-Boz's voice 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for doing this one 🎶🎵
TLC hands down best hip hop trio of all time
This one's a straight banger
1- what about your friends
2- un pretty
3- Red Light special
Are MUST
They were a big part of the 90s R&B. 👍❤
Definitely a Nostalgic one
You'd probably like The Fugees if you like TLC
Their known songs are "Killing Me Softly" and "Ready Or Not
Oh yes!!! Lauryn Hill is so amazing. Her voice in Sister Act was gorgeous as well.
Check out:
Chante Moore - It’s Alright
En Vogue - Hold On
Mariah Carey - We Belong Together
Monica - The First Night
Brandy - I Wanna Be Down
Aaliyah - Try Again
Yes!!!!! Thank you!
Please give us some more amaaazing 90's women who killed it in the R&B world - they changed so much in the industry, Javyee!
(And We Belong Together is my personal "stop everything, that's my JAM" song.)
Dude this is so cool to see you react to this! TLC “Crazy Sexy Cool” is one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time. I even have a t-shirt of it which is actually kind of weird. It’s weird because I’m a long haired white guy who listens to metal and wears leather jackets and trench coats lol. You’ll never see a TLC shirt on another stereotypical Metalhead like me. This made my night. Thanx for the video!
Hey, I love this album and lots of other R&B and New Jack Swing from the 90’s, and I mostly listen to rock as well. But good music is good music and I’ll listen to all sorts of variety if it’s well written and produced. You do you! ❤️
@@m3li55a5 that’s awesome! I’m glad that these 3 gals could still get some love from OUR community! 🤘
Female artists from the 90's had talent, beauty, and class.
My favorite of theirs. I love the groove and instrumentals. Plus I enjoy the video they look amazing. 😍😍
I had such a crush on the hot guy playing the saxophone. I was like 12 when this came out…so I had nothing else to do but listen to this album on repeat. And wait for the video on MTV, these 3 ladies were the epitome of gorgeousness, coolness and talent. This album was the absolute best album of that era, all the songs were expertly produced. Was it LA Reid? Great combo of hip hop R&B fills and atmospheric grooves with live raw instrumentals, like that bass!! Although their album prior to this was also fabulous with tons of hooks and beats.
The saddest thing is that they were treated like shit but their record label and scammed out of major cash they deserved. They were winning Grammys but broke! Gross how they were taken advantage of
Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg GRRRR
Wait until you do this song. Totally different feel, but the same message.
I’ve been listening to this song for a week now, reliving my childhood and wondering how my brain still remembered the lyrics. Love and miss TLC!
Edit: Also, now I really want some oversized silk pj’s.
So many dope beats came out in the the 90's, and this one is one of my favorites.
I just went on a 90s memory journey with you and TLC, thank you.
My Favorite TLC song, great semi slow dance song...tremendous beat, low lights...yeah, perfect...definitely recommend "Midnight Special"
This came out in late '94 and I couldn't belive their transformation, this was R&B 90s sound!!
Their previous music Oooh On The TLC Tip album had the late 80's early 90s sound.
Crazysexycool was a complete departure from that.
Please check their Baby Baby Baby video...
Also their new 1994 album was produced by Babyface and Dallas Austin mainly, almost the same as on Madonnas 1994 Bedtime Stories album.
I was a teenager when this was out, as you can imagine I was a little obsessed with these girls 😂😍😍
Man I remember the girls all singing this song in 5th grade without any clue what it meant.
"So I creep, yeah, just creepin' on,
On the down low, 'cept nobody is supposed to know". Hey, she ain't gettin it. Men aren't the only ones, these girls brought it to the front in all honesty! Men tend to "Creep" for ego, Women tend to "Creep" because that man isn't giving her what she needs. Just my opinion. TLC always spoke it! Salt n Pepa also did it for us back then too!
90s R&B.... love it, miss it. Glad we can flashback like this because TLC was flat out incredible
This whole album was great - it came out when I was around 16 and we wore it out we listen to it so much. TLC and Salt N Peppa were way more empowering then any of those Lillith Fair women - I don’t care what anyone says (and you didn’t even have to grow all your body hair out)! 🤣🤣
I hella miss Lisa Left-eye Lopes Rest In Peace 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
TLC was the coolest girls back then
I like the song because it’s not the typical “my man is cheating on me” song! It shows she can do what he do, which is not advisable in the real world. Another interesting thing I found out about this song was that Left-eye reportedly would not write a rap for it because she didn’t agree with the song’s message! So she stood on her moral principles but had to fulfill her contractional agreements too! RIP Left-eye! ❤️❤️
You’re absolutely right about them having songs that millions of people were and still going through. They were natural, fearless, intelligent ( especially Left 👁 she had a high IQ) unapologetic and had humility. They weren’t scared or embarrassed about the fact that they were a lil naive when it came to their Record Label, Lawyer and Management more specifically Pebbles who was married to L.A. Reid in the early and mid 90s. TLC was dominating the industry winning all the music awards, #1 on the billboard charts, out selling their albums but the contract they signed with Pebbles was like a slave contract. They only got $50k each even with all the success and money they were bringing in.
They had gone to a club one evening and when they were waiting on the valet to bring them their cars and when they brought the cars they got clowned on ( I forget what matching cars they had but it wasn’t one that ppl with their success would be driving) by bystanders and other celebrities that were waiting for their cars.
You should watch the movie that’s based about them. Also watch the video of Left 👁 while she was on a spiritual journey that led to her accident and death.
I love this song!!! One of my favs!!!❤😜😝😜😋👄💏
💗💜💗 TLC! Please listen to “Baby, baby, baby” and “Ain’t too proud to beg”. Those are the first hits of theirs that I remember.
I loved TLC proper soundtrack of my childhood. CREEP is so good and has always been my favourite of theirs
Hey JV! CrazySexyCool is my favorite album from them. Every song on this album is 🔥!!!! That being said, regarding this song, her man was cheating on her first, and she was lonely and tired from him not being there, lying to her to keep her, and him not paying attention to her, so she stepped out too, but she did it on the down low because she knew he couldn't handle it if he knew. You should definitely listen to this whole album. It's a vibe!!! Enjoy the world that is TLC! Peace...Be and Stay Safe
Crazy sexy cool got pretty worn out with me
BABY BABY BABY AND DIGGING THE SCENE OH RED LIGHT SPECIAL TOO!👍😎🎶🍻
I always loved just the really smooth, relaxed feel of this video and I totally wanted to just relax in some of the loungewear T-Boz was rockin' in this video! TLC was so unique. There were other R&B, smooth girl groups like En Vogue, etc. but TLC had that vocal fry/growl too that made them just stand out, not to mention their lyrics that were always so on point and had some deep meanings. Love them!
My favorite girl group in the 90s. My car didn't move without some TLC music on board. They had something for all my moods. Miss them so much as a group. Crazy, Sexy, Cool was what I wanted to be because of them. 🤗 Try Ain't to Proud to Beg & Baby, Baby, Baby.
Switch is a favourite of mine, it was an album track from Crazy, Sexy, Cool but I don't think it was ever released as a single ... it uses a hook from the Sugar Hill Gang song Rapper Delight. Also, Case of the Fake People from the same album... the whole album is on point tbh.
Yes this is a big album for them! It’s the album that made them best selling female group at the time
YES! 'Switch' is a great song- should of been a single imo! and it heavely samples 'Mr Big Stuff' he should deffinetly react to it! Fun fact- I have switch to this day as my ringtone!😁🎯🎶📞
TLC and Queen Latifah were the sounds of modern female empowerment when I was growing up. Every boy through puberty was trying to have silk pajamas and pillow cases without even knowing why. _Bill Bellamy was our oldest brother talking about ice cubes..._ who the hell's using ice cubes?!
In the `90s some videos were made with that floaty soft fabric and I find that extremely beautiful. I know how I loved this video when it came out :)
I was in high school jamming in the mid 90s to this music and I tell you parties and school dances used to be the bomb then.
Enjoying binge watching you relive my youth in music. 90s & 00s were so good.
Aren't they beautiful?? WOW! I love your reaction to this song and video. TLC's Creep Peaked at Number #1 on the billboard charts with this song "Creep" in the 1995. Those were the days of the slender, athletic bodies and they had them! Those silky pajamas still look so hot on those lovely ladies. How amazing they all look in their jeans and tee shirts with the flannel shirts tied around their waists and dancing with those amazing street dance moves!! (Did you know that three songs named "Creep" made it to the top of the charts? Radiohead - 1993- Song: "Creep" - Opening line: "When you were here before, Couldn't look you in the eye" . Stone Temple Pilots- 1993 Song "Creep" Opening: "Forward yesterday. Makes me wanna stay." TLC -1995 - Song "Creep" Opening line: "Yes...it's me again...and I'm back..." A great 1990's song! I will always love this song! Thanks for reacting to it!!
This suddenly makes me wanna hear some Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam- Take Me Home! "Bayba...I know you're wonderin"... 🎶😁👍
I got to listen their music when i went for vacacions to Atlanta when i was a teenager and fall in love with them sense then, the best!
TLC!!! 💕❤💖💙
RIP Lisa "Left eye" Lopez. TLC was awesome! All of their music was awesome.
Honestly, the whole album (CrazySexyCool) is top notch start to finish!
My fav TLC track..so talented
These girls were so cool and popular in the 90’s. I still own the Seventeen magazine with the three of them on the cover from 1996.
RIP Lisa Left Eye Lopes!!! Loved and still love TLC
Damn near 30 years and I'm still tripping on T-Boz' abs. Gawdamn!
I remember as a very young kid watching their 1st performance on arsenio hall. Nostalgia
TLC were brilliant and I'm sure people have suggested other songs by them like Unpretty, Ain't Too Proud To Beg, Damaged, Dear Lie, Girl Talk Nd recent stuff from a comeback album from 2017/18. The late great Lisa Left Eye Lopez had a solo album in 2001 called Supernova you should check out if you can. Another group that might be of interest to you is Five Star, a British rnb/pop brother/sister combo managed by their father. They were sometimes called the 'British Jacksons' in the pop magazines. They were huge here in the UK. 15 top 20 hits, a No.1 album and made small inroads in the USA. Please if you can check them out and react. I think you'll like them. Great channel too.
Because of this video, I owned a lot of silk pajamas back in the day! Loved these ladies.
Love it! ❤️ “Unpretty” and “Damaged” next please. Many people can relate to those two songs as well.
I was waiting for you to hit the TLC. They ruled the 90s. Early stuffwas so great.
My childhood tunes! RIP Lisa "Left Eye." 🙏
Finally gettin' into some TLC! Thank you!
I was TLC’s biggest fan back in the day! 👍🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I miss this ladies so much. They were great
They were magnificent. Just so strong and gifted. I miss them. #RIPLeftEye
Great song, I love this video too, looks and choreography on point!
5:36 I love Left eye, the girl had major strength, she's literally walking upside down across the damn stage....RIP
Love it ❤️ Beautiful women with powerful lyrics! Love them. Next please...Unpretty...❤️🙏😇
Tlc but no Missy?
Gotta do Supa fly
Can't wait to hear more!!! Thanks for the smiles! 😁💖
My theme song junior year in college!
I miss these sisters.
Their first album Crazy Sexy Cool is a masterpiece that represents 90s R&B so well. It was one of the first cds I ever bought.
Same here, I still have it somewhere.. loved it.
I have 4 Albums, and I'm still in ❤!!! 🔥💯
"Crazy Sexy Cool" was their second album(1995)! "Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip" was their first(1992)!!✌

I love watching you listening to these songs that i've loved for decades, for the first time and love them, it makes my heart happy. Also, this song blasting out in the summer when it's red hot outside is perfection x
I can’t say I like what the lyrics are about but I love the music and they are all beautiful.
Waterfalls is a good 1 too. It's so sad that Left-Eye died so young at age 30 in a car crash. She was 1 of the most gifted female rappers of all time.

Everything about this video is slick, the dance moves, the clothes, the style. Love these girls.
is an American girl group whose original line-up consisted of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Crystal Jones. Formed in Atlanta,
The instrumental samples Isaac Hayes - Body Heat.
They did three different videoclips for this song. This was the third one (and the actual approved one). The other two they didn't liked because of bad lighting and other stuff.

Check out the song “Unpretty” by TLC
This group and Aaliyah were THE girl group/artists in the 90's growing up. Chilli (the one with longer hair) was a huuuuuge crush growing up.
Was so sad when we lost Lisa ( Left eye ) lopes these female rappers out here today don't have nothing on her rest in paradise left eye ❤️

2. What about your friends

4. Red light special
5. Diggin on you
6. Unpretty
