What you said about that they have a song about everything is 100% TLC. Their music had alot of diversity. Also why they were so popular because they were genuine, real and didn't take themselves too seriously to the point it was not forced.
You need to react to Aaliyah. She was effing dope dude! TRY AGAIN, ONE IN A MILLION, ARE YOU THAT SOMEBODY?, BACK AND FORTH, AGE AINT NOTHIN BUT A NUMBER.Another one we lost too soon. RIP
It's more difficult for reactors to get Aaliyah's music out there. Her family are very protective and picky about what they allow. That's why most of her music videos out there are of poor video quality.

I miss these beautiful talented singers 😓. Tho they were short-lived RIP Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes 🙏. These gals are from my neck of the woods and so proud of their content and style 💗🕊️
Yes, Left Eye Did NOT Like The Message...Lol...Her Thing Was, “Instead Of Telling The Girl To Cheat Back, Why Don’t She Just Leave. Why Do The Lyrics Have To Say That.”...Another Reason She Doesn’t Sing The Lyrics In The Video Or Live Performances During The CSC Era....
TLC “Unpretty.” I think you’ll feel that one. If you choose another GOAT ASS TLC SONG...think about that one. Love your vids and your reactions. Keep pushing!
I am an old white woman in my 50's and I know every damn word to their songs!! They are so empowering as women especially back in the 90s as a newly divorced single mom. Their songs meant so much to me.
“Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” was their first single I believe. Please react to that as well as “What About Your Friends” and “Baby Baby Baby”. Lots of attention is given to the Crazy Sexy Cool álbum but their Ooh On The TLC Tip álbum should also have a look 👀
This song really takes me back to the 90's, I think its the horns, maybe the beat, the singing but it's incredible when it came out and has aged like fine wine. I love this song.
The song is based on Tionne “T-Boz” experience of infidelity. The lyrics portrays the singers as women who cheat on their unfaithful lovers for attention.
Dude this is so cool to see you react to this! TLC “Crazy Sexy Cool” is one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time. I even have a t-shirt of it which is actually kind of weird. It’s weird because I’m a long haired white guy who listens to metal and wears leather jackets and trench coats lol. You’ll never see a TLC shirt on another stereotypical Metalhead like me. This made my night. Thanx for the video!
Hey, I love this album and lots of other R&B and New Jack Swing from the 90’s, and I mostly listen to rock as well. But good music is good music and I’ll listen to all sorts of variety if it’s well written and produced. You do you! ❤️
TLC was such a great girl group. Great singers and such a cool vibe. I dont know if you know that Left Eye, the one who raps, died in a car accident many years ago l. So sad.
"So I creep, yeah, just creepin' on, On the down low, 'cept nobody is supposed to know". Hey, she ain't gettin it. Men aren't the only ones, these girls brought it to the front in all honesty! Men tend to "Creep" for ego, Women tend to "Creep" because that man isn't giving her what she needs. Just my opinion. TLC always spoke it! Salt n Pepa also did it for us back then too!
I had such a crush on the hot guy playing the saxophone. I was like 12 when this came out…so I had nothing else to do but listen to this album on repeat. And wait for the video on MTV, these 3 ladies were the epitome of gorgeousness, coolness and talent. This album was the absolute best album of that era, all the songs were expertly produced. Was it LA Reid? Great combo of hip hop R&B fills and atmospheric grooves with live raw instrumentals, like that bass!! Although their album prior to this was also fabulous with tons of hooks and beats. The saddest thing is that they were treated like shit but their record label and scammed out of major cash they deserved. They were winning Grammys but broke! Gross how they were taken advantage of

Yes!!!!! Thank you! Please give us some more amaaazing 90's women who killed it in the R&B world - they changed so much in the industry, Javyee! (And We Belong Together is my personal "stop everything, that's my JAM" song.)
I’ve been listening to this song for a week now, reliving my childhood and wondering how my brain still remembered the lyrics. Love and miss TLC! Edit: Also, now I really want some oversized silk pj’s.
This came out in late '94 and I couldn't belive their transformation, this was R&B 90s sound!! Their previous music Oooh On The TLC Tip album had the late 80's early 90s sound. Crazysexycool was a complete departure from that. Please check their Baby Baby Baby video... Also their new 1994 album was produced by Babyface and Dallas Austin mainly, almost the same as on Madonnas 1994 Bedtime Stories album.
I always loved just the really smooth, relaxed feel of this video and I totally wanted to just relax in some of the loungewear T-Boz was rockin' in this video! TLC was so unique. There were other R&B, smooth girl groups like En Vogue, etc. but TLC had that vocal fry/growl too that made them just stand out, not to mention their lyrics that were always so on point and had some deep meanings. Love them!
TLC and Queen Latifah were the sounds of modern female empowerment when I was growing up. Every boy through puberty was trying to have silk pajamas and pillow cases without even knowing why. _Bill Bellamy was our oldest brother talking about ice cubes..._ who the hell's using ice cubes?!
My favorite girl group in the 90s. My car didn't move without some TLC music on board. They had something for all my moods. Miss them so much as a group. Crazy, Sexy, Cool was what I wanted to be because of them. 🤗 Try Ain't to Proud to Beg & Baby, Baby, Baby.
Switch is a favourite of mine, it was an album track from Crazy, Sexy, Cool but I don't think it was ever released as a single ... it uses a hook from the Sugar Hill Gang song Rapper Delight. Also, Case of the Fake People from the same album... the whole album is on point tbh.
YES! 'Switch' is a great song- should of been a single imo! and it heavely samples 'Mr Big Stuff' he should deffinetly react to it! Fun fact- I have switch to this day as my ringtone!😁🎯🎶📞
I like the song because it’s not the typical “my man is cheating on me” song! It shows she can do what he do, which is not advisable in the real world. Another interesting thing I found out about this song was that Left-eye reportedly would not write a rap for it because she didn’t agree with the song’s message! So she stood on her moral principles but had to fulfill her contractional agreements too! RIP Left-eye! ❤️❤️
Aren't they beautiful?? WOW! I love your reaction to this song and video. TLC's Creep Peaked at Number #1 on the billboard charts with this song "Creep" in the 1995. Those were the days of the slender, athletic bodies and they had them! Those silky pajamas still look so hot on those lovely ladies. How amazing they all look in their jeans and tee shirts with the flannel shirts tied around their waists and dancing with those amazing street dance moves!! (Did you know that three songs named "Creep" made it to the top of the charts? Radiohead - 1993- Song: "Creep" - Opening line: "When you were here before, Couldn't look you in the eye" . Stone Temple Pilots- 1993 Song "Creep" Opening: "Forward yesterday. Makes me wanna stay." TLC -1995 - Song "Creep" Opening line: "Yes...it's me again...and I'm back..." A great 1990's song! I will always love this song! Thanks for reacting to it!!
This whole album was great - it came out when I was around 16 and we wore it out we listen to it so much. TLC and Salt N Peppa were way more empowering then any of those Lillith Fair women - I don’t care what anyone says (and you didn’t even have to grow all your body hair out)! 🤣🤣
Hey JV! CrazySexyCool is my favorite album from them. Every song on this album is 🔥!!!! That being said, regarding this song, her man was cheating on her first, and she was lonely and tired from him not being there, lying to her to keep her, and him not paying attention to her, so she stepped out too, but she did it on the down low because she knew he couldn't handle it if he knew. You should definitely listen to this whole album. It's a vibe!!! Enjoy the world that is TLC! Peace...Be and Stay Safe
I love watching you listening to these songs that i've loved for decades, for the first time and love them, it makes my heart happy. Also, this song blasting out in the summer when it's red hot outside is perfection x
Left eye strongly disagreed with the message of the song, hence why she doesn't rap on the track. She refused to be in the video until the record label said she was obligated
You’re absolutely right about them having songs that millions of people were and still going through. They were natural, fearless, intelligent ( especially Left 👁 she had a high IQ) unapologetic and had humility. They weren’t scared or embarrassed about the fact that they were a lil naive when it came to their Record Label, Lawyer and Management more specifically Pebbles who was married to L.A. Reid in the early and mid 90s. TLC was dominating the industry winning all the music awards, #1 on the billboard charts, out selling their albums but the contract they signed with Pebbles was like a slave contract. They only got $50k each even with all the success and money they were bringing in. They had gone to a club one evening and when they were waiting on the valet to bring them their cars and when they brought the cars they got clowned on ( I forget what matching cars they had but it wasn’t one that ppl with their success would be driving) by bystanders and other celebrities that were waiting for their cars. You should watch the movie that’s based about them. Also watch the video of Left 👁 while she was on a spiritual journey that led to her accident and death.
They did three different videoclips for this song. This was the third one (and the actual approved one). The other two they didn't liked because of bad lighting and other stuff. 1st one ua-cam.com/video/RmLxoTLTRNA/v-deo.html 2nd one ua-cam.com/video/dqml7GoWESk/v-deo.html
TLC were brilliant and I'm sure people have suggested other songs by them like Unpretty, Ain't Too Proud To Beg, Damaged, Dear Lie, Girl Talk Nd recent stuff from a comeback album from 2017/18. The late great Lisa Left Eye Lopez had a solo album in 2001 called Supernova you should check out if you can. Another group that might be of interest to you is Five Star, a British rnb/pop brother/sister combo managed by their father. They were sometimes called the 'British Jacksons' in the pop magazines. They were huge here in the UK. 15 top 20 hits, a No.1 album and made small inroads in the USA. Please if you can check them out and react. I think you'll like them. Great channel too.
So far I think you've reacted to two songs from their second album and one from their third. If you want to see how they came on the scene, you need to start with What About Your Friends, Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg, Baby Baby Baby, and Hat 2 Da Back. I promise you will love them even more.
You reacted to no scrubs from their third album, this is from their second which is probably their best so you should react to something from their first album-what about your friends?
These women were so god damn talented. They addressed real shit. Beautiful voices, beautiful souls, & outspoken. Will always be a fan of TLC.
I'm a huge tlc-fan since 1992!! ❤❤❤💯💯💯

Fun 90s music fact:
TLC - Creep
Stone Temple Pilots - Creep
Radiohead - Creep
All different.
All awesome.
Thanks 90s!
The quintessential R&B girl group of the 90's

Didn’t Lisa not agree with the message of this song? I think I remember her saying just leave if someone’s cheating. I’m with her on that one.
You’re right. I think that’s part of the reason she didn’t bother writing a verse for this song actually.
She wrote one for the remix.
Maybe that's why she burned her boyfriends house practically down to the ground. That's what he got when he cheated 😂 she was awesome RIP

TLC hands down best hip hop trio of all time
This one's a straight banger
1- what about your friends
2- un pretty
3- Red Light special

So many dope beats came out in the the 90's, and this one is one of my favorites.
The song is based on Tionne “T-Boz” experience of infidelity. The lyrics portrays the singers as women who cheat on their unfaithful lovers for attention.

Love it ❤️ Beautiful women with powerful lyrics! Love them. Next please...Unpretty...❤️🙏😇
So far I think you've reacted to two songs from their second album and one from their third. If you want to see how they came on the scene, you need to start with What About Your Friends, Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg, Baby Baby Baby, and Hat 2 Da Back. I promise you will love them even more.
A couple of other 90s female R&B that I don't think you've reacted to are En Vogue and Salt-N-Pepa.
Since we’re on R&B with this one, you gotta do some reactions to LUTHER VANDROSS: “Never Too Much” “Here and Now” “Superstar” “A House is Not a Home.”
You reacted to no scrubs from their third album, this is from their second which is probably their best so you should react to something from their first album-what about your friends?
Waterfalls is a good 1 too. It's so sad that Left-Eye died so young at age 30 in a car crash. She was 1 of the most gifted female rappers of all time.
Indeed! Jovaughn agrees. He reacted to that one : ua-cam.com/video/dt7zCU04xBA/v-deo.html
@@karikells Yeah I saw it.
They are (were) all beautiful, but I always thought T-Boz was gorgeous.
I miss these sisters.
