I owned a CX500 years ago, which got stolen. Amazingly, it was recovered some 7 years later. Had been sitting in a barn. Oil change, new battery and it fired up in the first crank.
After replacing the master cylinder-the only thing that needed it, aside from tires-my now-ex “persuaded” me to sell it, and for next to nothing. I still kick myself for caving to that neandertroll.
I miss that bike something awful.

Well at least the rebel is air cooled. That lends itself to a customizable bike a bit.
The CX could use a top triple and a GPS gauge. Or just put some modern forks on.
