I've had some people I know say they aren't a fan, and when they did I was honestly taken aback. You are a wonderful person. You're kind, supportive (Even helping me get past some relationship trouble I had a few months back), and it seems that you know your own mind. I've been watching your content for quite a while , probably 2 years or so and I really have enjoyed watching you play games . I'm currently in hospital and have been for over 7 months with a chronic illness and it's thanks to you, people like you and other youtubers that I'm still going . I just wanted to say this because your videos have had a big impact on my life and I really wish you the best . I'll definitely be sticking around. Ameer Motala same situation here. I have been battling an autoimmune disease for over 4 years and I found an outlet in youtube. I will never be cured. I have to make the most with what I have. I love you Kim. and thank you truly for everything. not going to say that this didn't make me teary-eyed.
Anybody else hate streams? You can't rewatch your favorite moments and if you have work full time like me, you're always either working or asleep. I will miss you kim. Your serious and helpful advice, your pervy jokes and all around uniqueness (if that's a word) but i suppose if you feel you must move on, then go for it! Do what makes you happy. And if you have to get a job doing manual labor, AVOID PACKAGING PLANTS LIKE THE BLACK DEATH!!! (IT SUCKS!)
If you go to her twitch channel, you should be able to access past broadcasts of hers, although they only stay up for about a month, if I'm remembering correctly. It's not quite ideal, but it is something :3
As a TL;DR 1: She is NOT leaving the Yogscast 2: Starting in January, there will be less videos ON HER CHANEL 3: She will still be a part of major series that are ongoing, i.e. High Rollers 4: She will still pop up every now and then on other peoples channels 5: She has been considering this decision for nearly a year now, and it is simply the best decision for her As a message from me to you Kim, more power to you. I'm interested in seeing where you go with this.
I've followed you since you begun with UA-cam and you have been and is a really big part of my life. You and all yogs has helped me through a tough time, not that that is over but you have achieved your goal of being a distraction from reality when I need it. Kim, you could always just re-purpose your UA-cam channel as your Twitch VOD home. You can set it to auto-post so you con't even have to bother with the stress of it. :) Just a suggestion But all in all, do what's best for you, it's your life, Kim.

I agree. I've been watching her for several years, but I never saw this coming. This is a blow, for sure, but we'll move on and survive. On a side note, this video makes Sips's update video the other day look positively happy! But I can see the direction the Yogscast are headed in. UA-cam isn't a good platform, even if it is one that so many more prefer to use.
Same thing I've said to Martyn, to Zoey: do what makes you happy, what you have fun doing. That's the big thing. That's what, as a subscriber, I want. Even if that means zero content. Be happy, have fun.

I have been watching the Yogscast since the shadow of Israphel and I've loved you to bits ever since flux buddies, you have made me laugh until I can't breath, cry until my heart aches, and watch my computer and phone screen so much that brain has most likely melted. I look back on your videos and channel and failed to see any kind of lack in passion for UA-cam and your subscribers. All I want to show is that you're a great person and you should be able to do what you like, if you are having trouble take break, don't stress about what people think and go with what feels right! Well, shit. With Sips and now Kim basically quitting UA-cam, that's my two favourite channels essentially gone. Obviously I hope that this change in working makes you happy, but I cannot deny it is somewhat bittersweet. I've had a lot of bad days remedied by your videos. I think we should all start preparing for a major transition. As Kim said, UA-cam is starting to fall and all the bog youtubers are most likely going to start using youtube less and less. This is the beginning of something amazing, not the end. However, this may be the beginning of the end of youtube as we know it, maybe when all the big youtubers leave to use a different platform new youtubers will rise up out of the ashes and claim the thrones (maybe a game of throne style theme is going to happen... could be fun :) )

You have my support, don't force yourself into making content, I am sure we don't mind if you just leave, if you are getting stressed from UA-cam and its millions of bugs, take some time away or just leave as a whole. But we will still all miss you. We will understand.

Oh god. I had to admit, I did not see that coming and I am genuinely sad... I was really looking forward to new Flux Buddies and more series with Duncan... also more horror series with Hannah... those might not happen now... I really enjoyed Vlogs as well, it felt like we were taking a vacation with you. They did not seem forced to me at all. So if you are going to continue streaming, will it also be published in here? Will there be a Kim Live channel? Streams are always hard for me to follow. I understand that Twitch is much nicer platform for you guys but harder for viewers, as it is not cut into nice chunks and harder to concentrate to the game as the streamer interacts with people. I understand the wish to change things and most of all, I want you to be happy. It's just really hard to see you go.
She said that if Duncan wants to do it and upload it to his channel only she's be up for it... am guessing that the same goes for Hannah and I believe that at the start of the Vlog she said that she won't be like abandoning the channel entirely and that she will still upload something.. what that might mean dun know.
Only started watching you halfway through summer, but I can't thank you enough for your videos. I have suffered with panic attacks for a couple of years now following a long spell of depression and your videos helped me when I was at my lowest. Obviously I'm sad that you are not going to be posting as regularly but health and happiness should always come first as I've discovered these past couple of years. Good luck in everything ❤️
This is something I'm hearing more and more of across all aspects of UA-camrs and it's not surprising. People change, circumstances change, and the longer someone sticks to a creative platform such as UA-cam, the more likely it is that they will become dissatisfied or feel 'trapped'. Embrace your Wanderlust Kim and do what you feel is right :)

Fletzel literally my friend told me that youtube is banning swearing in all videos. apparently they're deleting all vids with swearing, so yeah i cried yesterday when my friend told me, im crying now, rip yogscast 20something-2016
They aren't technically banning swearing but its age restricting videos and a lot of videos have been taken down so the platform is slowly dying and tbh I'm happy a lot of these you tubers have back up plans cause youtube is going down hill very quickly
Kim, It's REALLY touching that you have this connection and desire to explain everything to your viewers. Remember, though, that unless you take care of yourself first, you can't possibly give to others. Do what you need to... so you can stay sane. Also, yes, stress / anxiety / depression can manifest physically in illness, fainting, etc. Get back on track. Do what you love. More than anything, thanks for all you (and your Yogs family) have done.

A lot of UA-camrs seem to be moving over to Twitch. Doesn't give me a lot of hope for the future of this website. Which really sucks, because I'm trying to make this into a living for me. But you are right, Kim. The atmosphere of UA-cam has changed; it's become more about what new drama there is, and less about quality content. I'll miss your videos, Kim. Good luck, and stay awesome!
Not usually one to comment on videos but if by random chance you do happen to see this I'd like to wish you a massive good luck with whatever your next adventure is and I'll as many other will be excited to come along for the ride. It's been an amazing 3 years from you being being blown up at Sipco and building your very first (terrible) green wooden hovel to inspiring a generation of fans to be proud of who you are and to enjoy life wherever it takes you. It is pretty sad, because Kim's my favorite UA-camr and Yogscaster. But I can absolutely understand that UA-cam isn't satisfying for her. She likes interacting with her audience and with other people. Knowing she'll still be around for the streams and High Rollers is definitely a huge thing that makes this a lot easier to take. And knowing that the other Yogs are helping her out and supporting her being happy over making content makes me respect them all even more. She's right, UA-cam is over-saturated and sensationalist. It's becoming similar to the mainstream media in its obsession with crazes and drama. That's not what Kim has ever been. She's a little island of fun and relaxation, and knowing she isn't leaving for good makes me happy. UA-cam is dying and all the fun stuff is drowning under sensationalism and dramatic bull. Love you, Kim. You've got a permanent fan here.

much as i hate to say it ive been waiting on this from a lot of people. youtube has seriously changed and as such i see more and more creators stepping away from the platform and some reach for twitch or others go a different way. in whatever you choose as a fan i respect your decision to live, create and enjoy what you want and i wont scream, yell or cry because you yourself are not happy. fans are a wonderful thing but never feel that those of us who watch and enjoy you (that sounds slightly sexual but no innuendo meant) have any right to hold you back. a TRUE fan will change and adapt with a creator so that the creator and the consumer can both be happy whereas someone whos just an onlooker will move on. you may lose some people but those who truly love what you do will stay with you
I've been watching your content since the beginning and your channel quickly became one of my very favourites. You never failed to brighten me up when I was having a down day, so I just wanted to say thank you, for everything :) Take some time for yourself, go explore the world, start a bookshop, do whatever it is that makes you happy, because you have earned it.

I get a little teary eyed I admit I feel dumb saying that but when I started watching Yogcast again I started around the time Fluxbuddies came out and that was what really brought me in. Maybe you and others who feel the same could get a new section of UA-cam that is only for the established companies like yogscast, achievement hunter and any major group in UA-cam.... just a suggestion because yes UA-cam sucks thanks to its allowance of click bait...
While i understand why you're suggesting this, this would totally kill the motivation of new creators. The beauty of UA-cam is that everyone is (somewhat) equal and everyone can get their content out no matter who you are and where you come from. If you made a special section for "companies", it would just make things harder for creators who make amazing contest but dont have any "invenstors" behind them.
It's Me MILO! Yes but it would make you tube a real job, you can also get rid of those scam artists and those people who just post for stupid reasons, and this could also make UA-cam more of a job because less people trying to get attention for petty reasons and more people who take it seriously get a better paycheck to live off of. And there would still be regular UA-cam but the pro content creators have a section that they earn. This would get rid of click bait and keep people like Kim guilt free of click bait scam!

Anybody else hate streams? You can't rewatch your favorite moments and if you have work full time like me, you're always either working or asleep. I will miss you kim. Your serious and helpful advice, your pervy jokes and all around uniqueness (if that's a word) but i suppose if you feel you must move on, then go for it! Do what makes you happy. And if you have to get a job doing manual labor, AVOID PACKAGING PLANTS LIKE THE BLACK DEATH!!! (IT SUCKS!)
If you go to her twitch channel, you should be able to access past broadcasts of hers, although they only stay up for about a month, if I'm remembering correctly. It's not quite ideal, but it is something :3
As a TL;DR
1: She is NOT leaving the Yogscast
2: Starting in January, there will be less videos ON HER CHANEL
3: She will still be a part of major series that are ongoing, i.e. High Rollers
4: She will still pop up every now and then on other peoples channels
5: She has been considering this decision for nearly a year now, and it is simply the best decision for her

On a side note, this video makes Sips's update video the other day look positively happy! But I can see the direction the Yogscast are headed in. UA-cam isn't a good platform, even if it is one that so many more prefer to use.

I have been watching the Yogscast since the shadow of Israphel and I've loved you to bits ever since flux buddies, you have made me laugh until I can't breath, cry until my heart aches, and watch my computer and phone screen so much that brain has most likely melted. I look back on your videos and channel and failed to see any kind of lack in passion for UA-cam and your subscribers. All I want to show is that you're a great person and you should be able to do what you like, if you are having trouble take break, don't stress about what people think and go with what feels right! I think we should all start preparing for a major transition. As Kim said, UA-cam is starting to fall and all the bog youtubers are most likely going to start using youtube less and less. This is the beginning of something amazing, not the end. However, this may be the beginning of the end of youtube as we know it, maybe when all the big youtubers leave to use a different platform new youtubers will rise up out of the ashes and claim the thrones (maybe a game of throne style theme is going to happen... could be fun :) )

Oh god. I had to admit, I did not see that coming and I am genuinely sad... I was really looking forward to new Flux Buddies and more series with Duncan... also more horror series with Hannah... those might not happen now... I really enjoyed Vlogs as well, it felt like we were taking a vacation with you. They did not seem forced to me at all.
So if you are going to continue streaming, will it also be published in here? Will there be a Kim Live channel? Streams are always hard for me to follow. I understand that Twitch is much nicer platform for you guys but harder for viewers, as it is not cut into nice chunks and harder to concentrate to the game as the streamer interacts with people.
I understand the wish to change things and most of all, I want you to be happy. It's just really hard to see you go.
One person commented somewhere further up and Kim replied saying that she'll look into uploading her vods here automatically.
She said that if Duncan wants to do it and upload it to his channel only she's be up for it... am guessing that the same goes for Hannah and I believe that at the start of the Vlog she said that she won't be like abandoning the channel entirely and that she will still upload something.. what that might mean dun know.
Only started watching you halfway through summer, but I can't thank you enough for your videos. I have suffered with panic attacks for a couple of years now following a long spell of depression and your videos helped me when I was at my lowest. Obviously I'm sad that you are not going to be posting as regularly but health and happiness should always come first as I've discovered these past couple of years. Good luck in everything ❤️
This is something I'm hearing more and more of across all aspects of UA-camrs and it's not surprising. People change, circumstances change, and the longer someone sticks to a creative platform such as UA-cam, the more likely it is that they will become dissatisfied or feel 'trapped'. Embrace your Wanderlust Kim and do what you feel is right :)

They aren't technically banning swearing but its age restricting videos and a lot of videos have been taken down so the platform is slowly dying and tbh I'm happy a lot of these you tubers have back up plans cause youtube is going down hill very quickly
Kim, It's REALLY touching that you have this connection and desire to explain everything to your viewers. Remember, though, that unless you take care of yourself first, you can't possibly give to others. Do what you need to... so you can stay sane. Also, yes, stress / anxiety / depression can manifest physically in illness, fainting, etc. Get back on track. Do what you love. More than anything, thanks for all you (and your Yogs family) have done.

A lot of UA-camrs seem to be moving over to Twitch. Doesn't give me a lot of hope for the future of this website. Which really sucks, because I'm trying to make this into a living for me. Not usually one to comment on videos but if by random chance you do happen to see this I'd like to wish you a massive good luck with whatever your next adventure is and I'll as many other will be excited to come along for the ride. It's been an amazing 3 years from you being being blown up at Sipco and building your very first (terrible) green wooden hovel to inspiring a generation of fans to be proud of who you are and to enjoy life wherever it takes you.
Also a massive thank you from the very bottom of my heart for providing me with many many hours of entertainment and teaching me things I'd never have known otherwise. I'll try to catch as many streams as possible and will always support you. You've been with me for some of the hardest parts of my life and I am grateful for that.

I understand how you feel. I've been finding things I normally like becoming boring. Take time for yourself, do things that will relight your creative fire. As a huge fan of your's Kim, I will always support you and wish you the best rest of the year and the years to come. It is pretty sad, because Kim's my favorite UA-camr and Yogscaster. But I can absolutely understand that UA-cam isn't satisfying for her. She likes interacting with her audience and with other people. Knowing she'll still be around for the streams and High Rollers is definitely a huge thing that makes this a lot easier to take. And knowing that the other Yogs are helping her out and supporting her being happy over making content makes me respect them all even more.
She's right, UA-cam is over-saturated and sensationalist. It's becoming similar to the mainstream media in its obsession with crazes and drama. That's not what Kim has ever been. She's a little island of fun and relaxation, and knowing she isn't leaving for good makes me happy. UA-cam is dying and all the fun stuff is drowning under sensationalism and dramatic bull.

much as i hate to say it ive been waiting on this from a lot of people. youtube has seriously changed and as such i see more and more creators stepping away from the platform and some reach for twitch or others go a different way. in whatever you choose as a fan i respect your decision to live, create and enjoy what you want and i wont scream, yell or cry because you yourself are not happy. fans are a wonderful thing but never feel that those of us who watch and enjoy you (that sounds slightly sexual but no innuendo meant) have any right to hold you back. a TRUE fan will change and adapt with a creator so that the creator and the consumer can both be happy whereas someone whos just an onlooker will move on. you may lose some people but those who truly love what you do will stay with you

I get a little teary eyed I admit I feel dumb saying that but when I started watching Yogcast again I started around the time Fluxbuddies came out and that was what really brought me in. I hope Kim fells better and I hope she finds something to make her happy because she makes me happy when I see her videos. When ever she is in something I didn't expect her to be in I get so excited like a little nugget has been discovered, and that isn't a short joke ;)
It seems the yogscast are slowly moving on....

Kim while I will miss your videos I want to say good on you for having the strength to look at things and decide to step back and let it go. It is a very hard thing to step away from something that has been such a big part of your life and we all know youtube has been a big part of your life for some time but it is so much better then forcing yourself to do something that you don't enjoy. I'm looking forward to seeing your future projects and to see all the amazing places this big step takes you. Good luck :)

Maybe you and others who feel the same could get a new section of UA-cam that is only for the established companies like yogscast, achievement hunter and any major group in UA-cam.... just a suggestion because yes UA-cam sucks thanks to its allowance of click bait...

Who wants to petition a new UA-cam section for older pro's like yogscast!
While i understand why you're suggesting this, this would totally kill the motivation of new creators. The beauty of UA-cam is that everyone is (somewhat) equal and everyone can get their content out no matter who you are and where you come from. If you made a special section for "companies", it would just make things harder for creators who make amazing contest but dont have any "invenstors" behind them.
It's Me MILO! Yes but it would make you tube a real job, you can also get rid of those scam artists and those people who just post for stupid reasons, and this could also make UA-cam more of a job because less people trying to get attention for petty reasons and more people who take it seriously get a better paycheck to live off of.
And there would still be regular UA-cam but the pro content creators have a section that they earn. This would get rid of click bait and keep people like Kim guilt free of click bait scam!
