Kim, dogs like Bear that shed have fur and cause allergies. Dogs like poodles have hair abd are actually safe for people with allergies to have. Their hair is like a humans and keeps growing and needs to be cut regularly. My lab poodle mix had to be shaved every four weeks because of this, and now we only adopt non-sheding dogs because we do it ourslves.
Bear reminds me of my old beagle who was like extremely big (comparable sizes) He died last year But bear is so cute ❤️ (I only own small dogs now, but only cause my house is too small)

There's a likely a list on the Internet. Surprisingly it isn't the hair that causes the allergy but an enzyme in animal's skin and saliva. So there are hypoallergenic long haired cats and dogs. So no one is stuck with the hairless animals. Which have more upkeep than most think. Hairless cats and dogs need constant baths due to the oils their skin produce (normally their fur absorbs these oils to give them a mild waterproofing), they also need heaters and sweaters because can't regulate their temperature properly, and they need sunscreen if they go outside or lay in the sun.
A very happy nobody Bear isn't hyperventilating. He is panting through a little anxiety as this was only his second groom with anyone ever, and excitement cus he loves company and cuddles. Hence why his tail is wagging whenever he is down off the table and hence why he hugs and kisses when he is on the table. His red eyes aren't actually red, he, like a lot of big dogs I see, had a little droopyness in his lower eye lid which means you can see the red fleshy part of his eye lid, That's why his eyes look red :-) he is in perfect health :-)

1:05 Im similar, only found out when I was visiting relatives over the holidays. It's long-hair dogs for me I think, but my eyes just go insanely dry and irritated which sucks cause I love dogs =(
If you are allergic to some cats and dogs and not others it's b/c you are Allergic to the Dander specifically. Some cats and dogs produce much less dander than others. Even similar breads dont produce the same amount.
