Great playing! I am interested in buying the mpc 37 but I also play keyboard and electric/acoustic guitar. At the moment I record multiple instruments on my Boss RC-500 looper, is it possible to play guitar and record it into a project which is created on the Mpc37 (which I do now with the looping pedal….)? That way I could make a switch from looping station to MPC-37. Hope this makes sense :-) Thanks in advance for your answer! Kind regards, Victor, the Netherlands. Update: Oh, that was a stupid question, I just saw you doing that 😅😅
Thank you !Haha no issues. And yes, as you can see it's totally possible. Same possibilities of a looper pedal but you can record, sequence and mix a full song. Nice presets for guitar too which I didn't expect. Thanks for watching!
@ Thanks for the advice, currently I have just a cheap stand alone MIDI controller, and I use Logic Pro X….my interface is just a USB cable direct to my Mac…..back in the 1980’s, I used to record my own music using a Korg Poly800II, Roland D50, Roland SQ4, Korg M1 and a Korg Triton …recording onto a Yamaha MT1X multi track tape recorder….very old school, funny I love my DAW with Logic, but I feel I miss that Workstation tactile musical feel….so the MPC 61 looks just right, and I now as you mention, can hook up my guitars to it….wow….what’s missing is most definitely any such talent as you admirably show, a pleasure listening to your jamming….thanks for your time ….now to convince the wife , I really need a MPC…hehe…
@@MarcusEDM you probably need one from what I understand since its a line input, but since my SG has humbuckers its sounds find to my ears. Probably would sound better with a preamp.
@@HansKarlsson1971 In this video im plugged in directly into the MPC and im using the amp sims and effects that came in the machine. However for better sound quality a pre-amp is recommended.
Thank you bro ! If you're a musician I think you will love a standalone setup. The MPC plays like an instrument once you get to know it. Its really hands on.
@@erlanpmusic6218 theres probably a better way to do it. But how I did it was through preferences/project default/ then set your preferred time signature. So when I want to make a beat in 6/8 I change those settings and open a new project. Thanks for the sub 🙏
Insane talent my brother!
This is fantastic, amazing musical skills. Thanks for using the MPC.
@@AkaiProVideo Thank you guys for making such amazing products !

@@questforfreedom7Good morning and thank you for your quick response 😊 I ordered the Mpc 37, looking forward to it! Greetings, Victor
Very inspiring…..how do you connect your guitar up to the MPC….thanks for sharing…
Thank you ! I plug it directly into the MPC. It has a bunch of amps sims and effects built in which sound surprisingly good.

@@questforfreedom7 you don't need a preamp?? or the keys37 have one? Guitar level is low..

@@questforfreedom7 thanks!!
Nice. Been thinking about this AKAI. So you plug in guitar and record using the MPCs effects or use Something in between before the MPC?

@ the effects are they like overdrive, reverb, etc but not amp simulation?
How much did you pay for the MPV key- Akita Midi Keyboard/ Drum machine
@@aviakidos-lobitos2398 Whats an MPV Key akita midi keyboard lol ? I paid 1200 CAD for the MPC key 37 if thats what youre asking
Hot Fire bro! 🔥 if Im just starting out making music do you recommend going DAW or Stand Alone? I also play Worship Guitar 😎

Is 37 keys enough to play chords and to play something really melodic?
Yes definitely. It gives you 3 full octaves. More than enough to play full chord progressions/melodies.
@@questforfreedom7how many years have you been playing the piano? You got some skills on the guitar and keys.
@@supek6190Thank you 🙏 its been a couple years now on both.
new subscriber here, bro,, how you setup the 6/8 signature? im new to mpc key 37🙏
