yeah I was thinking about that too. If 1) he made a 'mistake' the first time, he's absolutely brilliant to close it with that punchline, which is just so unbelievably great. If 2) the first mistake was part of the routine, he should get an Emmy for that because I certainly don't believe it could be so smooth lol

So much to appreciate here:
1) His Jokes - mostly facts or what most people think.
2) His change of tone + accent usage.
3) His clever impromptu explanations/comebacks.
4) His skills in connecting all small jokes to a larger point.
5) He doesn’t need to swear to make it funny.
6) His intelligence overall.
7) His nonchalant approach.
It feels almost like when you are with a group of friends and we are just randomly talking and joking around. It’s like when the discussions get so hilarious and everyone is laughing. This is what he does so well. Not forced but just simply smart, witty, and with impeccable timing in delivering the joke while adjusting his tone to enhance the joke. You are awesome my friend.

@@danni1993 Finding humor in a dark subject matter is the human condition, how we cope, how we survive going from being angry and depressed to being sympathetic, how we can listen. And humor can engage someone to an issue that they don't much about. Turning away from the homeless, but thinking they might have had too many bad breaks instead of being lazy can change your outlook. Someone who loves guns might have been attacked previously and felt helpless. There can be depressing issues that may not be appropriate for humor I guess, but to keep swimming in that darkness without seeing the light is sad too.
@@picilocarnal There are a lot of researchers who do work in social sciences with a focus on just that. Dude's a comedian, and, to my knowledge, he's one that isn't trying to be a philosopher.

1. u have to be somebody first before ppl would even care about cancelling u. and 2. what accent? i know he doesnt sound native/white, but he doesnt have an immigrant accent, he has an asian accent, its the accent of those of us who can speak english without an accent. it doesnt sound weird or hard to understand, but u can tell he wasnt born and grew up here with all white friends

Using statistics is a genius way of coming up with lines/jokes. I remember he tried to make it big and then pandemic hit. Hopefully this is his year! Witnessing a legend in the making

We often forget to give others the benefit of the doubt, and we don’t like to take into consideration what someone might have gone through to end up where they are now. We like to come up with our own theories rather than ask, and don’t like to put ourselves in their shoes.

Stand up comics like him are gold. They don't need to should, curse, swear and talk about just sex to get laughs. Nothing wrong with those types of comedy but I just find this guys finesse refreshing. I hope he goes to the top and gets his own special. Hope to see new content from him.

I have had serious boughts with that in my past. The thought tries to creep in every once in awhile, but I have become much more at peace, so they are very fleeting. My peace comes from the knowledge that Jesus Christ is my lord and savior, and he was raised from the dead. Read Psalms 22, and Isaiah chapter 52 verse 13 to chapter 53 verse 13, and realize they were written hundreds upto more then a thousand years before the birth of Christ. Science has not disproven God, in fact the more science progresses the more it proves God. I hope this starts you on a journey of research, contemplation and most importantly Peace

Guy came out with an opener that made everybody go oh no, nailed the punchline, then proceeded to murder for ten minutes straight with goat level delivery and physical comedy. Fucking incredible. Facial expressions reminded me of Schulz a bit. He'll go far.
