I was worried about that thumb hole access as well, but it looks like you didn’t have any problems with deploying the blade. Nice vid, ordering one now lol
I feel the same way about CJRB/Artisan... they are horrible as a company if you need any sort of customer service, but I do like a lot of their knives 😂
Pretty sure when they made this knife the Benchmade Bugout is what they were targeting. I have to say they missed the mark with the way the scales interfere with the hole. Otherwise still a great looking knife.
I don't know if I would say they nailed the crossbar lock, mine feels pretty sloppy with lots of play in the bar itself. The actual blade lockup is fine, but the crossbar itself has play and very difficult to operate from just one side because of this (it pulls at an angle and wedges itself). Something all other crossbar locks do easily.
Your used to weak crossbars I like really strong springs that help with the detent. Your supposed to close them with two fingers anyway. Mine has no play maybe you should return it. Don't get a Bestechman Ronan or CMB Predator because they got strong springs too.

It could definitely be easier but it's also not a struggle. Maybe someone with huge hands might struggle more.
