there are two types of cutscenes, unskippable ones like the one after the basecamp which the timer is paused for, and skippable ones such as when player 1 enters the greenhouse. pressing escape once after the cutscene starts is usually enough to skip it as soon as possible. for the final cutscene in the throne room, it can be skipped as soon as it starts, which is why we both mash escape to skip it as fast as possible.

how do you change who is player 1 and who is player 2
i don't remember how we did it, it may be based on some checkpoint further on in the game after the bridge when the players are separated?
