Step 2: 44 Nm (32 ft.lb)
Step 3: 45 degrees
Step 4 : 45 degrees

You think if I drop the pan I could remove the crank cap assembly and do my connecting rod bearing ? Or do I have to have the whole engine out

Hey Peter Finn, I installed the bottom end of my engine on my Celica with the engine still in the car. I jacked the bottom end onto the block with the gasket maker on it and I had to leave for 2 days with the jack still pushing up on it, is ok if I torque the bolts in with the cured solution?

Do not EVER use a knife to scrap aluminum surfaces or any metal surface where you need to put a gasket. That comes from Toyota dealership mechanics and it is clearly outlined in the book for a reason. Thanks for the video.
