Pretty much the whole song "Hang Onto Yourself" is about drugs. Everyone was talking about how dark the video is and I was sitting there wondering why no one said anything about how dark the lyrics are.

All people dream. Usually people with distractions of any sort can't make it to the REM sleep. And to remember the REM sleep you have to get up 3+ times

I believe in Palaye Royale supremacy
I saw them live as the opening act for YUNBLUD in Nashville a few months ago. I was excited because I liked them, not intensely, but I thought they were good. At the time, the only 3 songs I had heard by them were Mr. Doctor Man, Dying In a Hot Tub, and Little Bastards. This was the first song they played and I instantly fell in love with it. Later I went to Spotify and listened to more and more of their songs. Started binge watching Royal Television. Now instead of knowing only three songs by them, I could quote the entire The Bastards album without trying. This is currently my favorite song by them, along with Ma Chérie. They're by far one of my favorite bands ever. (Them and YUNBLUD are my two favorite artists- Can't choose between the two.) Their music has helped me so much. I'm so happy to see how far they've come, even if I wasn't there from day 1. I only recently discovered them in March 2021, yet it seems like I've known their music for years. Love the void ×
These guys are so unrated... their songwriting hits hard... their music is better than 95% of the crap you hear today from other "popular" artists... Just saying #PalayeRoyaleForever
