+California Rail Productions™ yet I have seen K-cars leading as 150mph Acela sets pass on the NEC. I question how a Rotem isn't safe, given these have more nose than a CTC-5, which is none. Unless if this is a PTC issue, or DIB.
+burdizdawurd1516 A rotem cabcar has been involved in a collision already about a year ago and it was suppose to protect everyone, however, the engineer of the train didn't survive so now all cabcars will get an inspection to see how they can improve the cabcars' safety.
+TheSd90mac-Railfanner fascinating, so one death of the most forward position individual creates trouble for a system of push-pull that has worked for 50 years? I'm staying on the east coast were we at least use cabcars, although the locomotives are all getting thrown out.
+Matzilla Gamer Supposedly, Metrolink is getting rid of the cab cars because they are considered "Unsafe" Metrolink has some deal worked out with BNSF. You're going to see lots of BNSF power on Metrolink trains soon.
Imagine standing there at 2:32 with no headphones on and the person in there presses the train horn?
