Go Pro makes far more sense than a lot of mirrorless cameras for blogging or easy travel videos. The entire ecosystem of GoPro has been very evolving over the years. I used from original GoPro Hero 2 to GoPro hero 5 and then switched to Garmin. Now I don't use any of action camera. But if I start using again, it will definitely be a GoPro!

A brilliant camera and GP2 processor with the worst battery life and mad mad heating problem.It simply shuts off in the middle of shooting. If I’m in the market for an action camera I would wait for the new one in September when the 11 is coming out.they are addressing the heating issues. Not to mention the new hero max 2 360 as well
@@doctormthebikingexperience1558 how does that mean it's not a firmware issue ? 🙂 Anyways this is an official response from GoPro on this issue. Give it a shot once the upgrade is available. Honestly I don't see any need for front active display unless you are using it only for selfie shots.

They are releasing a firmware update next month to address this issue. Check it out
@@dimitrz2000 not a firmware issue. I switched off the front screen. Issue got 80% resolved
