Today I’m going to be sharing with you how to make the best tacos de lengua, seriously the best!!! To me it’s just like having a bomb shredded beef taco the meat is so tender and just so flavorful, and because every taco needs a bomb salsa, well I hope you enjoy it😅 keep in mind like every recipe and every household there are tons of variations that make this delicious recipe, you can always adjust it to your taste, I really hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family do, and as always if you do please forget to give me a big thumbs up, comment down below your thoughts and if you new to my channel please hit that subscribe button so you can be part of our family!!!!!! 😘

Ingredients: if you want a simple recipe, just boil it with onion, garlic, bay leaves and salt, i like mine with a lot of flavor 😅)
2-3 lbs beef tongue
8-10 cups water
1 purple onion
1 garlic head
2 roma tomatoes
1 poblano/pasilla
1 guajillo or New Mexico chile pods
1 puya chile pod
1 tsp Chile Pequín
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp marjoram
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp whole black pepper(peppercorn)
1 1/2 tbsp coarse salt
1 tbsp vinagre
5 bay leaves
Salsa:
6 tomatillo
3 roma tomatoes
20-25 Chile árbol
1 garlic clove
Salt
1 serving of love 💕

Oh wow I have never seen it cooked like that 😲 the way i make it it’s just al Vapor como si fuera cocer tamales pongo aluminio luego la lengua y yo no le quito the fat ese es sabor Parte del sabor and I add the lengua in big chunks and I just add lots of garlic 🧄 and onion 🧅 and salt 🧂 but never any other ingredients and it comes out extremely flavorful and delicious 😋 tacos 🌮

Yum! I always just put it in the slow cooker overnight low n slow. I pull the membrane off the next morning, then shred it up & put it back in with all my seasonings. We like lots of cumin in ours. Then we chop chiles with cilantro, onion & lime for on top. So simple & delicious!
Omg! My favorite tacos! My kids are adults, but lengua was always a favorite with them as well. So much flavor!

My mom cooked Lengua Angla Terra style. One day a painting company cooked 20 Lenguas on a job site for the crew a huge buffet. They asked me to join them kind of as a joke after three tacos they told me what I was eating. Everyone including my own coworkers were shocked when I told them in Spanish I knew what it was when I smelled it cooking LOL. The recipe looks wonderful

I’ve never had tongue, and I’ll be honest I’m a bit hesitant to try it. But, I was raised to eat everything at least once. This recipe looks delicious, and I think I may get the ingredients to make them one of these days! I love your channel❤️
It really tastes just like roast beef. My dad used to boil them (like she did but without all the spices) then slice it up and fry it for sandwich meat like a roast beef sandwich. You have to peel the membrane off though because that's what feels like a tongue.
