    Not only is the concept awe-inspiring, to then plan the bridge section design, the pier design and devise a means to place the piers and sections and then build all of that. Kudos in buckets, sir, you are truly gifted!

      I use BuWizz to Manage the remote control, automating would be a separate project on its own, even in real life it is a manually controlled process.

    Sending this to my future brother-in-law so that his brother can see it, too. (Mechanical and civil engineers, respectively.) This is an awesome proof-of-concept, and we need this in the real world! Imagine the applications: construction, disaster relief, you name it!

      Construction I agree, for disaster relief this would choke up the roads that life saving traffic needs. The sad reality is that big machines dont solve a problem that is ultimately social - why are people living in such tenous circumstances where temporary disruptions to the infrastructure get them killed.

    Imagine how long it took to simply plan this out, then finding all the parts needed for it, maintaining it, making sure it works properly..this is some truly amazing work I tell ya.

    This much more advanced than the real world machines. I've watched a few videos of them in action. Those are much slower, and they only install the horizontal sections, the roadway and/or railway. The columns building process is slower and less automated.
    Also, the real world process is much more dangerous, so the workers don't get to ride on the segments as they are being placed.

    After 30 yrs in construction, it physically did a number on me. If I only would have become a Lego master instead….. I’d love to have access to all the blocks to build like you do. Your creativity, skills and dedication is amazing to me. This design and the portable tower crane are the first 2 videos I have watched. You have an amazing talent that I appreciate you are sharing with all of your creations.

      Lots of hard work, I got motors over many years, Lego discontinued them.

      Side question: do you know a round abouts of how many lego pieces you own? How many sets? Do you remember the aquanauts set, the underwater themed ones with the shark lookin submarines and stuff? I love that one lol by far my favorite, and the one i had all of the sets of.

      @@Smokie1523 Great questions. Probable at least 50K parts so far, and the submarine is a very special project as it was completely destroyed during the flight to Cuba, so I had to rebuild it during vacation, and the weather did not help me. Appreciate your question, you made my day!

    Wow hehe that's like German classic bridge builder but modern bridge builder with increasing bridge loads can increase long, if your Lego machine can build with only Lego Technic stones without support by hands 😅😂. Nice job bridge builder.
