    I'm not sure what amazes me more, the fact that you built the technic model, the fact that you build a custom controller board for it, or the fact that in the real one, all that plastic is steel, and those hydraulics can support all that weight.

      This is true but scaling up bring a lot more complications.

    • @sulawesi-steve
      @sulawesi-steve 4 роки тому +5

      @@pradyunsharma2903 the same can be said for a fully working smaller model. The fact he made it work, basically designed it but in lego, an you could get away with saying something to the effect of "this was a prototype, sort of proof of concept" is next to mind-blowing.
      If he designed/was involved with the original he would be at an advantage (I doubt that tho) but even then. The point is I'm not sure if making larger is any hard than making smaller, in this scale how small would a car be? Like 500x??

    • @wolfzipp5404
      @wolfzipp5404  4 роки тому +13

      @steven james , I made this Lego model in aprox. scale 1:25 , but in reduced lenght (half number wheels) . I made it only from the Videos of SLJ 90032 and some pics at Google . Its only as Hobby , I never seen the real 92 m / 300 ft machine , that carry a 900 tons concrete Bridge . My choose of the dimensions was very good to handle the weight and bending with Lego conditions . With smaller scale is not enough space for the mechanic ; bigger will be too heavy for the mechanic parts .

      I'd of been over geeking all other that. I've not done any technic lego since the 90s, but I loved the suff. I recall getting a phumatic set at about age 8, it it wad amazing adding it to the rest of my technics. Parents couldn't afford the offical lego motors and battery packs back the. So dad make be a motor with the right protortions, with and the conector part with the shaft end on. I used a 12v battery (he alauad had loads of them) and a potentiomity for a speed controller. Literally spent years of my life playing with it. Untill I hit my teens. Now ho
      Itting 40, I may start again. Add in some aurdinos and now you can do anything you can imagine.
      Just like you have here. It's fantastic. Congratulations

      Great parenting! I begged my parents to get me lego mindstorms, but they always told me it was too expensive for a "toy". One year it finally appeared under the Xmas tree when I was about 11 years old. Fast forward 15 years and I have a successful career in automation and manufacturing that I attribute %100 to that expensive toy that they probably couldn't afford.
