Wonderful! This is so so so much improved over the old version. I will pin that comment to promote this improved version. Also, thank you for the credit.
Anyway, you decided to not use a counterweight. Why is that?
@@LegoTechnicsRule Thanks! 🙂
In fact I did use counterweights, they're just not that visible in my build. Instead of the LEGO steel balls I used other weight pieces from LEGO (element ID 73090b). Four of them are built-in the back slider, best seen at timestamp 03:57 in the video. Hard to see as all is in black... I first tried without any weights, but that wasn't really reliable as the slider wouldn't reach the needed bottom height fast enough, so part of the balls wouldn't get picked up and would simply bump into the t-shaped liftarms. Gravity needed some assistance here! 🙂
very smart mod of this awesome GBC module from LEGO Technics Rule !! I especially love the design of the ball splitter. Excellent !
Merci bcp!
Nicely done, Will try, Coooollllll.......
Thanks! 🙂
Amazing model and thank you for the in-depth showcase.
Thanks, glad you liked it! 🙂
Cool...the timing is smooth
Thanks! Yes, timing is smooth, but was a bit tricky as the speed of the back slider together with the distance it covers, length of the ramps, angle of inclination of the ramps and of course gravity all need to match perfectly. Original module by LEGO Technics Rule was very well designed in that matter!
Very nice! This is fun to watch in action.
Thanks! 🙂
