Those kids learned. I take kids to do side jobs on weekends. I do roofing and fire demo and restore. I will pay a youngster to clean up. I know I could get a grown man who could lift more and move faster, but I just try to teach him as I go that way they always have some type of skill-set to fall back on for a job when they need one.

that's actually a big problem in produce industry- a LOT of vegetables and fruits are wasted and thrown out simply because of their unpleasant and unmarketable looks. farmers know people won't buy them so they don't bother trying since just the transport would cost more. it amounts to tonnes of absolutely fine produce being wasted.
