Thanks for the info. Just a quick question. i have the ring transformer which is 200watts with 12 and 15volt tap. i was wondering if i could run 200ft 12gauge wire with total wattage of about 94 watts. Thanks!
Hello, are you still in this business? Are you still Offering a look over of my property? I believe I have all the materials for this job, including lights of different types and voltage, wire with waterproof gel connectors, and 2 transformers. I Purchased 2 transformer thinking I would need a separate one for the backyard and one for the front, but maybe if the transformer was on the side of the house so I could run wire to front and wire to the back.... I’m having serious design Roadblocks where I cannot get started.
Your videos are shot really well and to the point . Thank you
Thanks for this info. It's really helpful!
would you mind doing some research about low voltage lighting for residential? 48VDC/24VDC, DLVP, SILT?
Can I this be controlled by a switch? I want to be able to turn them on and off when ever I want from a diff location. Thanks.
is it ok to screw transfer on your brick/stone or stucco wall ?
Yes but is better if you can just get a 4x4 post to dig in and mount to that.

Do you have to put the wire into a pvc pipe?
You can but not required because it is low voltage
@@LightingDoctor Even if I have to run it under my walkway?
Under a walkway, I would reccomend putting it through a sleeve. It will make it easier if you ever have to access it
@@LightingDoctor Cool. Is that a metal or plastic sleeve?

Using the Smart Plug i see no reason why the Transformer could not be mounted indoors if possible by bringing the LV cables inside.
