It's so beautiful! I love all your designs! Could you some time also show us how you create designs that are suitable to convert to single line drawing instead of outlines? Thank you!
Received mine via FED EX today. It works soooo welll. Took me three passes to learn it but I can't wait to finalize my invitations to my marriage ceremony.
This turned out so beautiful! I was curious as to how you decide the selling point for each invitation set. They are all very elegant and beautiful so some insight into things to consider when pricing invitations like this would be really great.
What fonts did you use in Cricut? I don’t recognise them. Usually outside fonts create a bubble around the fonts when using the Draw option. How did you go around this? Would be super helpful to know x
Hi, so elegant! I want to do my wedding invitations like these. Which gold foil would you recommend for someone on a budget; that doesn't want to compromise quality. THANK YOU! 😊
could I ask how long this took to create - I am using a silhouette and per invite is 20mins on a level 5 for a similar design so just wondering if im doing something wrong
hey can you tell me appox how much foil i would need to do 100 wedding invitation and what is the differece between this and normal cricut foil? sorry totall newbie
Hello can you tell me what setting on the cricut you have it set to for this? I had it set to card stock and I let the quill heat up but it did not attach to the card thank you
Hello, I just ran the quill on my Cricut Maker for the first time and I did not get the outcome that I was expecting and thus, I have the same question as you. I believe that my lack of results is from the paper and pressure setting so I too, am wondering what was her settings. Did you receive a reply and if so do you mind sharing?
I just finished my third try and as the saying goes, "The third time's a charm". I am so happy with the outcome. I did play with the settings and my third setting was on lightweight card stock, Default pressure, and the Fine Quill was most important...I believe. The first and second pass I used the Standard Quill pen. The best to you and Happy Crafting.
Hi there, love your videos! Just want to know which you prefer, the minc vs the foil quill? I already have a minc and absolutely love it. But am considering buying a cricut and foil quill to try out as well... I can see perks of both... but wanting to know your thoughts first. Also, does the foil quill create an embossed feel with the foil? Really hope to hear from you :)
What kind of font do you use for this to get such clear lines? I find whenever I put mine in draw mode it wants to make block letters from the outline of them.
Looks great, I have a question I have the Cricut maker and I have tried to do this writing with foiling and it turn the writing into an outline. What have you done different?! Thanks for the help X
She mentioned in the beginning where she is showing the screen that che changes from line into draw 1:44 I believe? Helps me ou pausing and viewing the video on full screen but I think it’s that.
Just beautiful 😍 I'm curious too of how you got it to be single line instead of outline. 😱 My monoline floral illustrations always look and turn out outlined.
My first one was super crappy. I did everything you did but yours' turned out beautifully and mine is missing part of the letters. I had the foil tight as I know that is important. hmmmm... I used the bold tip maybe I'll try the others. Any tips or tricks??

Hi Thanks for sharing the video. I have bold tip foil quill pen, will I be able to make invitation with that too? Please share some projects using bold tip foil quill. Thanks in advance.
Hi there I need some help. I would like to know how you managed to draw the flower design. I drew a flower with procreate and imported it in Adobe Illustrator. Then I exported it as a SVG file and uploaded it in the cricut design space. But when I select "draw" the flower design becomes outlined. How did you manage to keep your flower design as it is without cricut changing it into outlines? Can someone please help? Thank you. :)
Hi, another question about the single liner drawing, tried converting text in illustrator but not successful :( tried these steps that are not successful 1. rasterize the text and trace it and convert to single path 2. create outlines 3. create text using photoshop, save as eps, png, pdf, jpg, etc and trafer to illustrator and convert to single path All of these procedure does not work for me. Kindly share your technique. Thanks!
LOL. How much would each invitation cost me? A foil for every one and all that time who does it do to go crazy? The foil transfers with any tip even by hand. Up close it looks very ugly.
Cricut is definitely a tool for one with Patience and time. I often cut my mask templates by hand because it's faster than the Cricut. But the Cricut has soooo many perks. Give it a chance and if nothing else, use it for creating that one something special item or items versus buying something. The Best to You.
Fine, fine I'll buy a damn cricut for my wedding HAHA. Thank you for this easy tutorial!

Such a clever tip to use that top piece to help hold down the foil!

Does this only work on paper? Would it work on acrylic?

Depends on the artwork (which determines the method I used), but I converted it into a single path in illustrator.
Thank you so much for your reply! 🥰
What did you set as the material and what are you using to power your foil quill? My lines aren't coming out crisp.
Hello. Did you receive a response to your question? I have the same problem.

Hi Thanks for sharing the video. I have bold tip foil quill pen, will I be able to make invitation with that too? Please share some projects using bold tip foil quill. Thanks in advance.
Yes you can. You will just need to be careful with finer lines but if there is enough space between characters is should work well.
Im having an issue with lines in between letters. The quill is transferring gold as it travels to the next letter. Any tips?
Hi! How did you get your art work to draw without outlining everything. Whenever I change it to draw it outlines my whole illustration. Thank you!!
She uses Adobe Illustrator. I was using Photo Shop and it would not work for me either. I was told that you will have to use illustrator.
could you please tell me where I can buy good quality card stock like yours?
How did you get the registration marks to show up
Hi can i know what machine is that

Too much work. I have given on cricut crafting
That’s a shame!

That's not a good idea. It shows you don't have passion for it.... You should have asked how to figure it out.
Stunning!
What his the best card stock for invitations?
