Sometimes it's hard to comprehend just how difficult it must be producing content constantly. You wouldn't think there's much inspiration in a simple journey of 3 flights and a short bus ride but you've grown into the job so much over the last couple of years that making twenty minutes of engaging content from it seems to come without any difficulty. Of course we don't see the amount of work behind the scenes with the editing, music selection etc, Good to see you made it home safely.
I really love how normal and relatable your content is. Connections, walking, bus stops in the dark, your DIY approach. This is how I like to do things. It’s so refreshing when every other thumbnail these days is 72 Hours in First Class XYZ.
I not only laughed at the jaws portion, I had to replay it and laugh again! I am traveling right now as well, and this is me stopping for “a wee Steve Marsh break.”
Another excellent video, Steve - and as a former airline executive [Delta Air Lines], you were in excellent hands with SAS and KLM, two of the very best airlines in the industry... 👍
There's something really cool about you using public transport on so many of these trips. Makes it seem so much more accessible. Thanks for proving it can be done ❤
Never ceases to amaze me how Scandinavian airfields / airports remain open in the most unfriendly of weather and temperatures 🤷♂️ Brilliant sense of humor on a long and difficult journey home, Hope you slept well and didn’t dream of Jaws tail planes or fin’s chasing you, let alone the shoe-less foot touching you 😂😂 Great video Steve Keep em coming 💪
My dad worked for KLM so as a family we traveled quite a bit. The sounds of air travel - from the plane noises to the background chatter of the passengers - are the most relaxing sounds. I use videos like this to fall asleep every night. Thank you!
Terry Taylor: Sir cast your You Tube videos to you TVfrom you cell/mobile phone or get the UA-cam app on your TV. You will of course need a smart TV, even though they are not really very smart.
Steve I don’t know how you do it - making an all day trek on buses, planes and a van all the way home, but after this one, I felt like I was the one who’d experienced the long journey home! Beautifully done sir!
Hi Steve. Just to say thank you so much for sharing this wonderful trip, we have so enjoyed your journey. Beautiful places and stunning scenery. Glad you got home safe eventually even if it was to more snow 😊. Looking forward to your next adventure xx
Oh Steve. What a journey. So enjoyable to watch from the comfort of my armchair in my warm home. Credit to the Swedes for how they cope with such icy conditions. Bet your heart sank at the task of “deicing” your snow laden car in Aberdeen. You must have been so cold! 🥶
Wow Steve. Brilliant presentation as always.thankyou..goodness knows how you manage to stay awake..hard going but we all appreciate your videos...beautiful footage..🤩🍔🍺
How sad to leave Sweden behind. It looks majestic! You make the travel part look easy! Thanks for the Sweden Series - really great videos and interesting adventures!
Hi Steve - I used to know Stockholm's Arlanda airport very well as back in 1995 I was working over in Moscow & used to fly back & forth via Stockholm with SAS once a month. Indeed for about 12 months I was a gold card frequent flier. Happy days! 😎
@@3amigos919It's lazy English on OPs part. 'Doing snow properly' could refer to the amount of snow Sweden gets, the quality of it or the public/state reaction to getting a large amount of it.
You did well to remain cheerful at the end of such a long journey. I did a return flight from Amsterdam to Stockholm and back with KLM in 2019 for 100 Euros. Both flights were enjoyable.
Nobody but you can make such a journey so compelling. I realise this isn't the true experience, but your skill at making these videos is unquestioned. Dare I say there's an ASMR quality to these travel day videos, especially when they're free from jeopardy. I loved this.
The beautiful nature of flight sends one’s imagination wild with intrigue because one minute you’re here & the next you’re there in a different world 😮😊
What was interesting here was in Glasgow if there is a slight frost the plane is delayed whilst they defrost the wings. In tge Artic you could build a snowman on them and away they go.😊
Fantastic video again Steve & your return home from Sweden. Even though it was mighty cold, the places you visited looked very interesting. Thanks for sharing with us.... and i loved the Jaws music - brilliant ! :)
Steve, considering you had 3 flights, 2 buses and a long drive, remarkably it went all smoothly. Keep up the content, as always refreshing and relatable to us normal folks like yourself!
Thank you so much for this journey it was beautiful and a place I have always wanted to see. I really love the jaws theme as KLM was disappearing 😂. So happy you made it home safely 🤗❤️
That was indeed a sad-looking breakfast. Do come back and film in Sweden at some point, however, it's been great to see! As others have pointed out, even most Swedes haven't visited the polar circle, so it's been a treat to follow it via your lens.
@@andrewpreston4127A cheese sandwich/wrap thing made with a "thick" flatbread called polar bread. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Standard breakfast for many Swedes. Delicious with a cup of chocolate even. Very, very cheap of SAS though. The exact same product is sold at grocery stores for like €2
The captain on the last KLM flight sounded like Mentour Pilot, can you imagine that one UA-camr flying another UA-camr to their destination. Thanks Steve nice air travel video.
I really enjoyed your Arctic circle travels. It amazes me that despite the freezing cold and snow. These places just get on with life it is really impressive.
What a lovely surprise - a video from my favourite youtuber ❤❤ It looked absolutely gorgeous but perishing at the same time. Glad you got home safely xxx
Seeing you travel in winter is so much more fun than in the summer. What a boring time waiting around but you made it. Great series from Sweden with extra videos too.
What I really enjoy with your videos Steve is the naturalness, it is like actually going on a trip with you, nothing fancy just real life, just as it is, it makes me want to go where you have been. I have watched your videos for some time but I seldom comment on anything here on youtube. Yours though are outstanding in their plain presentation.
I felt your pain. That long journey all the way from Swedish Lapland only to find your car encased in snow and having to dig it out before the final leg of your journey. I bet you slept well that night! ☃🏁
Hi Steve Paul from Kent again another fabulous loved the ABBA pictures on the wall at Stockholm airport my favourite pop group glad you enjoyed the experience looked wonderful take care Paul
Really enjoyed that Steve, many thanks! Not gonna lie, when I saw the amount of snow piled up on your car, for a split second I thought we were going to get a bonus-bonus video of your late-night expedition from Aberdeen to Montrose 🤣
Stunning scenery from your SAS window seat. Flight take-offs never bore me. Even though take-off engineering is standard science, it still feels (childishly) miraculous to me that something as heavy as a plane can fight gravity law successfully. Loved your trip to Kiruna.
I bet back in the glory days of small airlines with turboprop planes, a Fokker F-27 or Vickers Viscount would have taken you straight from Kiruna to Embra. Thanks for sacrificing your arse for these insights! 🤗 There's no way it hasn't been frozen off on that rip! 🥴
I so enjoy yourn videos from the comfort of my home. I don't much like flying but enjoy watching you get about so easily it seems. Mind how you go mate!
Have you thought about kitting out the back of your van with a makeshift bed and somewhere you can sleep occasionally? For me, your journey was, although very good but very long and tiring. And it must have felt great to finally get to Aberdeen, but imagine when you get to your van, you could have a nice well rested nap before driving back home!
What a slog! Bet it felt good to sleep in your own bad that night. The way you edited out the curse word and later added the Jaws theme gave me quite a laugh. Thanks again Steve!
Hi again Steve, I enjoyed it, your some guy, you take us all over the place. I liked the K L M to the Jaws theme tune, wee laugh there. Thank you, from me in Irvine 😁

Thanks for the mid week bonus Steve. You manage to make a return journey seem so interesting.ooh and we got a glimps of Jaws too!! Excellent as usual Steve .❤
I just got back from a trip to Norway, seeing Oslo and Bergen, taking the same train you did but stopping off to do the Flam railway and cruise. Although I didn't love either city, the cruise was more than worth the trip. Funnily enough, for most of the flight from London to Oslo the Pilots had the door to the flight deck open which I could see into from my seat for some great views.
