You are so right. When I was divorced, I dated 40 women. Of those 40; only 3 were wife material. "Commitment" is that special place where a dysfunctional woman starts the process of outgrowing you... She will annoy, argue and disrespect you until you get angry and frustrated enough to want out. Then she will dial back the behaviour until you think things are OK. Then the cycle begins anew. With each cycle, she becomes less and less interested in being with you. If you endure long enough she eventually cheats or leaves because she has "outgrown you". There is no progress towards greater understanding, just the same BS again and again. If your relationship falls into this cycle, just leave. It won't get better.

One woman I dated was addicted to social media, had a male best friend, and took ‘girls trips’ with her single friends. She wanted a relationship from me and I told her “No” for those reasons.
